Chapter 3 - FLOWERS IN SPRING

(FLOWERS IN SPRING)

I cannot promise you forever: And as the black cloth you willingly unsheathe on your delicate skin, slowly filling the void your eyes feel, as tears flow beautifully, as the first splinter of your withered spirit caresses my soul endlessly. I believe illusions shall tame my wonderous mind, with a voice, faintly drawn in memories.

Your luminous glow reminds me of the first break of winter, when every scenery seems uncertain, yet we still dream of its beautiful white innocence. And a smile, as sad and majestic as the moon in the sky.

Kevin chose to forget about the matter of his mother and the letter, but it still weighed on his heart, what if he really was loosing his mind?

but he could not do anything about the matter of the letter.

his phone suddenly started to ring, and instinctively without having any second thoughts, he answered the call,

it was Dawn on the other side of the call, she had a shivering voice with sudden breaks in between, although she tried her level best to keep calm, her heavy breathing sent shivers down Kevin's spine. Kevin tried his best to calm her down, as she repeatedly shouted as she sounded like she was running away from something out of fright, "I can't make out what you're trying to say Dawn, can you speak a little clearly, and why are you running so much, what happened to you?"

And with a simple click on Kevin's door, Dawn came into his room, unable to keep to herself, she quickly jumped onto Kevin's bed, she then said, "There is a book that suddenly appeared on my bed Kevin, I know we don't have such a book in my house, let alone my room, what should I do about it? I couldn't even open it, what if I've been hexed or something? I can't do this Kevin."

Kevin kept asking Dawn to breath and speak clearly, Dawn then said, “Today was supposed to be a perfect lazy day, we agreed to meet this afternoon for a group dinner, but there was a letter in my hand this morning and it said, ‘I INVITE YOU’ in bold, I didn’t really understand what the whole thing was about, but then I watched as a book suddenly appeared right on top of my dresser. It shook me to death Kev, of course I ran from there like a headless chicken, and somehow ended up here, in your room. So that’s what happened since I woke up. “

Kevin looked down at Dawn, sat right next to her and spoke calmly, he said, “It’s okay Dawn, I am also scared here, so let’s try to think calmly and figure this out together. By the way, have you heard anything from Lisa? She’s been quiet since last night. And just when Dawn was about to answer Kevin’s question, a paper appeared in front of them, right on the floor, next to the bed they were seated on. The paper had the writing ‘I invite you’ written on it with an address of, 555 24th Street at the bottom of the paper.

Although they had a hard time coming to a definite decision, they ended up going to the place they were invited to. Things seemed a little weird when they got to the address. Firstly, they saw Lisa outside the front gate of the house, she looked lost and was in some sort of trans for some reason.
