CHAPTER 4 - FLOWERS IN SPRING

(FLOWERS IN SPRING – continued)

Lisa stood in front of the house while holding a letter in her hand, she looked like she was stuck in her own thoughts, and when Kevin and Dawn approached he, she didn’t seem to notice them in the slightest, until they finally shook her back to her senses, and the funny thing was her not being able to fathom how she had gotten there in the first place, she looked at her friends as she was freaking out and said, “ What happened her Dawn? I don’t really know how I got here but can someone tell me what on earth I am doing here?” And with sighs of relief Dawn and Kevin laugh at Lisa for a while.

The house they were standing in front of looked to be brand new, and for some reason it was pitch black, and made of glass all around. There was a tree right next to the house, a fully branched tree with beautiful green leaves, more like the ones Dawn had seen in her dream. She stood steering at the tree very attentively for a couple of minutes without giving any of her attention toward her friends. And right out of the blue, Lisa spoke about the letter she found in her room. Dawn was taken aback a little thinking about the whole matter she had gone through with the whole letter, but Kevin seemed a little comfortable with them for some reason.

Lisa said,” I found a little story in the letter I got, I wasn’t exactly sure why any person would send me a short story in the form of a letter, but I read it anyway, and something really weird happened, I fund myself extremely drawn to the whole story that I don’t remember anything that happened afterwards, everything went blank, the story was:

The disappearance of Alice Grey and Johnathan Peters

They met on a cliché sunny day, the kind which puts a smile on each face, with a time set to torture each beautiful thought you hold on to dearly. The woman who had surprisingly long blond hair, with a beautifully worn smile, although she kept a strong gaze upon the book she held with her left hand, she still kept peaceful little sights towards the scenery she had been shown, with her hazel eyes. Her body embraced the white dress she had on comfortably, more like it had been made for only her body to wear. The man she locked eyes with had an interesting kind of aura, although they kept eye-contact with each other, she was not able to believe the sight which had been portrayed by him.

He kept a rhythmic kind of walk, he seemed to take his time with every step he took, perhaps he wanted to enjoy every moment which graced him, the black shirt, with greyish pants which he wore gave a sense of security about him, and although he seemed to be well put together, his eyes seemed more distant and cruel, this came as a huge spin to him, with the sweet aura which radiates from him unwillingly. His steps started to become quicker the closer he got to the woman he kept his singular stare on.

His eyes deeply looked at those of the woman in front of him, as she slowly got up from the wooden bench she had been sitting on, completely forgetting about the book she had on her hand as it fell hopelessly on the ground. Her eyes started to fill themselves with tears, from the look she had on her face, sadness bloomed from her reddened checks as she tried her hardest not to weep even more, her pitiful face caused pain to the man in front of her, as he stood dumbfounded by the woman who was weeping helplessly in front of him, with no word of reason.

He got even closer towards the woman, put his right hand inside his pocket and took out a handkerchief, and with glass eyes he wiped the woman’s eyes and said, “how beautiful is pain for you to weep so pitifully with just a simple stare?”

She looked at him as he gave her a smile even with his eyes fully filled with tears as well. She was not able to answer the man’s question. He held her left hand with his right hand as he guided her back to the bench she had been sitting on, and the gaze he gave her put her emotions at ease once more.

It was their first meeting, yet her heart kept his presence dearly.

And with only a month of knowing each other, the woman and the man left together and were never heard off ever again, …

The tip of the letter had the words ‘I invite you in bold’, that’s all I remember really, then you guys appeared in front of me and I was in front of this house with the two of you.
