The project

“Heads up everyone!”

I kept my head down on the desk, I didn’t want to hear that, I was hitting my head on the desk.

What am I gonna say, how would am I gonna face everyone when I have nothing to say.

I need to think of something to present. Instead of sulking over nothing, I was smart after all, but I can’t, my head seems blank and no words were coming at me.

I couldn’t even think of anything.

“Look up everyone..” The homeroom teacher Mrs Apache said. Standing in front of the class with someone eyes fixed on him.

I groaned and slowly lift up my head.

“Mrs. Apache is so strict. She would give you an F with blinking. Even if you did so well. Damn, I’m so anxious about it.” There were murmuring behind me.

I guess I wasn’t the only one dealing with nervousness

“It sucks already.”

“I wish we didn’t have to present it.”

“Too bad, y’all are gonna do it...” the voice had taken them off guard they hadn’t expected her to be here so soon.

We were at least waiting for about thirty minutes before her arrival. But she was already here, I began fidgety with my fingers. I didn’t have anything to say yet.

What should I do? Tell her the truth. Queen B took her project papers and she had nothing to present.

How silly.

I will get an F and getting an F means no scholarships for me for the term. And would’ve to sort out my through school for this term, I can’t add to it, we could barely three square meal a day.

“Without wasting our time, we’ll begin. The first roll. Should be out for their presentation. And you should be quick and accurate with your projects and realistic too.”

Queen B, had came out. Since she was seating in the first roll. She was gonna present my work. My heart sunk when i saw her submit the paperwork to Mrs. Apache.

Everything was gone!
