Who would have thought that doing your chores could lead you into a world undiscovered by human beings? Juniper certainly did not expect it. One cold night, home alone, she adventured outside to do her chores and was whisked away to a new reality. Embarking on this new adventure, she had no clue what her guide to the new undiscovered world could have meant when he said. "Your life is no longer yours; now it's mine." She will learn the price that must be paid when someone chooses to save her life and take her to a new world full of adventure, betrayal, and secrets. 

The Tail Catcher

Juniper stood up but stayed frozen, staring at the map of Groda. She noted the sweat on her palms and the beating in her chest. Kai's scent lingered in the room. 


To her surprise, some volnocons addressed her before leaving the war room. She nodded her head, then turned towards her tutor. He stood patiently, waiting for her. 


"What's the third tier like?" She asked. 


Her tutor let out a sigh and pinched his nose. "It is a lowly place." 


"Do you believe I should go to tier three?" 


He shook his head. "It's an awful place. I fear you will feel overwhelmed with your duties if you were to go." 


Tally nodded, but in the back of her mind, she felt this nagging feeling that she needed to see tier three. She knew one person who could answer her truthfully, Dane. 


Juniper tiredly returned to Kai's chambers. She could hear heavy footsteps pacing back and forth. Her large guard had returned to his post and opened the door for her, saying nothing.
