Who would have thought that doing your chores could lead you into a world undiscovered by human beings? Juniper certainly did not expect it. One cold night, home alone, she adventured outside to do her chores and was whisked away to a new reality. Embarking on this new adventure, she had no clue what her guide to the new undiscovered world could have meant when he said. "Your life is no longer yours; now it's mine." She will learn the price that must be paid when someone chooses to save her life and take her to a new world full of adventure, betrayal, and secrets. 

The Tail Catcher

Juniper woke with a sense of warmth in her heart. She felt the stress of yesterday wash away, and a slight smirk crossed her lips. Kai’s strong arms had her caged close to him, and the steady rhythm of his breaths caused her to feel calm. 


She felt an odd feeling for him. She wasn’t ready to bring it to light just yet, but she liked how he handled it yesterday and still took care of her. It was a complete contrast to boys she had dated in the past. 


They would have still been fighting, and she would have had to get up and face the day with heartache. It was exhilarating to wake up after a fight and feel ready for the day. 


Juniper didn’t know if she was ready, but she knew she was excited to see what the day held. She slowly pried herself from Kai’s embrace and tiptoed to the bathroom. 


The soft blue light lit the room as she relieved herself and washed her hands and face. The lighting gave her an exotic look, much like someone at a club.
