A Godly Magic Crest!
I suddenly wake up with a happy smile, and turn off the alarm from the alarm clock. Today is a good day, finally everything is coming together.
I look at the calendar in the room, the date 30th September 1998 just looks more and more pleasant as time passes. I get up quickly and get ready for school like usual.
When I reach the hallway, Sakura sees my happy face and throws a questioning look at me and asks.
"Nii-san, did something good happen?"
"Yeah at school."
I just answer her offhandedly but unbeknownst to me at that time, this caused Sakura's face to cloud over just a brief moment. But even if I knew about it at the time, there is nothing I could have done.
After eating breakfast, I head towards my junior high. I arrive at the school a little earlier than usual but I don't do anything extra and head to the classroom 1-B.
I am still without any real friends but it's by choice, so it doesn't really matter. But surprisingly I am not really an outcast in the school but rather a celebrity, the girls have given me the moniker of "Lone Prince" and some boys admire me while others look at me with jealousy. They sure have a lot of free time to think up of something this useless.
Of course this is all because of me wanting to emulate Barthomeloi family to gain more boost from that Almighty attribute, I am not as caustic as them but I am very prideful on the surface. The only places where this mask breaks is where people can't see me. Anyway that aside, I pursue elegance and perfection in everything so much that that D Rank Dungeon doesn't give me any problems at all even when the Boss comes to battle.
But it's nice to act like this, not a lot of people bother you this way. Fangirls or fanboys are fine, they mostly keep their distance after all they keep each other in check so that no one gets ahead and get overly chummy with me and that's fine by me.
And so as the usual shenanigans happen, the school day passes and the classes end.
Heh finally! Time for some real action.
But then something troublesome happens, a certain soft featured popular girl after urged by her friends come upto me. What was her name again? It started with Sa- or something. For the time being let's call her Popular Girl #1.
"Shinji-kun I heard you live around the same area as me, would you like to walk home with me?"
She asks me this troublesome thing today of all days.
"I can't. I have something important to do after school maybe some other time, now if you'll excuse me."
I brush her off and cut off any room for rebuttal by walking away. Fuck off bitch, I don't have time for this!
I walk out of the classroom, under the dumbfounded gaze of some girls and admiring gaze of others. As expected of me!
I head towards the shopping district, and after sensing that nobody is looking at me I enter an alley and then enter [Empty ID] and look at the familiar scenery here but I don't change into new clothes immediately because I have some other important business here.

I sure have improved in the last 2 years, this is nice. I can be considered at least a decent fighter now even if not a decent magus.
Enough nostalgia, today I will finally take the step that can potentially make me the most powerful magus in history and will also help me in solving many of my problems.
I open up the shop menu and purchase the skill that's so important to my plans.

Finally! I first got naked and put my uniform away so it doesn't get accidentally destroyed during integration.

It's not like I know how painful normal magic crest transplantation is.

As soon as I said that mentally, my body convulses and falls down but I don't feel anything other than pain from something deep inside me. It feels like as if someone took a rough stone from the roadside and started carving the inside of my brain but much worse.
At the same time, I feel a lot of knowledge entering my mind and permanently becoming a part of me. I feel overwhelmed by this torrent of knowledge and pain for a moment but then I suddenly move away from all this and start to look down as if I am an almighty being observing things.
An eternity passes like this and I return to my senses finally, only to look at my watch and find that not even half an hour passed during that integration in shock.
But that shock passes by quickly, as I get ecstatic by the power gained through my new skill. It's actually much more broken and well-rounded than I actually thought.
It's basically a Magic Crest on the level of a top tier Divine Spirit. I can use the powers of any Norse Runes freely because I now have the Primordial Runes from where they originated inscribed in my soul.
Additionally, because I have System and my Origin is Gamer I have some support from System in using it. So at this point, I can basically do imagination magic that Devils from DxD have with runes. With enough power you can even reach the level of true magic with it.
Of course there are limitations in using it. Otherwise Odin would have long conquered and defeated other pantheons easily. First is the obvious one, magical energy output is quite important I can't just do a magecraft surpassing my output with it. Second is that this magecraft consumes mystery on its usage so it will be weaker in places lacking mystery. Third is that there are some things you can't do with runes, but they are mostly irrelevant or are too outrageous to consider doing.
Let's look at my status again.

Oh some skills upgraded on their own because of that torrent of knowledge, damn that's nice.
Let's test this out on some guinea pigs.
I enter the [The Dead ID (D Rank)] instead of [Ghoul ID (C Rank)] since I just want to test things and not fight.
As soon as I enter the desolate yet familiar place, I notice something I hadn't noticed before. This place is much richer in mystery than Empty ID or maybe even the outside world.
I then stop thinking about useless things and with utmost confidence say, "Flames of Judgement" and snap my fingers.
Many runes automatically activate according to my imagination, the core of which is ansuz rune.
100 massive swords made up of holy flames rain down on the place.
As soon as I complete the spell, I feel drained but my satisfaction is off the charts because of the notifications I see in front of me.
