Kaowasabe roamed the entire Village but wasn't able to find any available quests.
He realized that after the sudden changes of the system, Players are having a hard time searching for quests that often showed up.
He stood near the Portal stone and opened his Inventory window to check if there are any equipments he could possibly sell for a high price.
But most of the remaining equipments that were stored were rare and lower rating equipments.
He already wore the High rating equipments to improve his combat power as well as his defenses.
Kaowasabe noticed that he still has 60 Gold on his inventory so he headed back to the Garden to buy some Pet food for Venom.
As he reached the Garden, He asked the Vendor if he was selling pet foods.
The vendor took a glance at Kaowasabe and his pet then told him that Growth type pets don't eat pet foods that are sold from Pet stores.
Growth type pets like Venom feeds on Equipments.
But not just any equipment, But Rare equipments or higher rating. Growth type pets have a unique ability to smelt equipments easily as it enters their mouth.
"So make sure to feed your Pet properly with High rating equipments." As the vendor spoke and smiled.
Kaowasabe left and headed back to the Village, Scrolling through his Inventory as he saw alot of Rare rating equipments stocked on his Inventory.
He quickly grabs a rare rating equipment and handed it to Venom.
Venom stared at the equipment for a while and suddenly bit it like it was not made by steel.
The equipment was easily chewed as venom ate it.

So he quickly grabbed alot of rare rating equipments and fed it to venom.
After feeding alot of equipments, Venom's level rose and it's appearance also changed and grew bigger.

THE SERPENT'S "BITE" SKILL DURATION WILL INCREASE IF THE LEVEL OF THE PET RISE.
THE "SPIT" OF THE SERPENT IS COVERED WITH ACID THAT COULD MELT ANY METAL EASILY AS WELL AS SKIN TISSUES.
THE SERPENT SHOULD ALSO GROW IT'S SIZE AS IT LEVELS UP.
CAN UNLOCK NEW SKILLS AS THE SERPENT GROWS.
Venom who gained a new skill and got bigger was extremely full due to eating alot of equipments.
Kaowasabe was astonished as looked at Venom's status window.
The only pets that are allowed to learn skills are still a mystery. The Developers haven't even announced about this kind of pets.
The Unified rank 1 player "Biteme" who had an Obsidian rating pet didn't even have the qualifications to unlock new skills.
Kaowasabe felt glad that he was bestowed such an extraordinary life changer.
Then he placed Venom on their Portable home, An item called "Pet's Cage"
"Pet's Cage" is a Non-sellable and Non-droppable item that is only available to every user who obtains a pet.
He then wondered what he had forgotten and opened his inventory, As he scrolled, he finally noticed the thing that he had forgotten.
The Emblem that jordan gave him.
"THE TOKEN OF DEVON"
An emblem shaped token that indicates the gratitude of the Devon family, Who has an outstanding reputation as a Nobleman within the entire Mikel Kingdom.
If the emblem is shown towards any citizen of Mikel Kingdom, They will immediately lead you towards the Devon household.
"Should I go there now? I can't seem to find any quests and my level has already reached to the point that most of the monsters here only give me small amount of experience points."
Before he could decide about leaving the village, A message window from zeth suddenly popped out.
"Kao, you there? The Maiden boss raid will be starting within 30 minutes. Come to the Barrier reef, I'll send you the coordinates so that you could find the location quickly."
Kaowasabe checked the coordinates and headed towards Barrier reef.
After fifteen minutes of walking he finally reached his destination.
Alot of players from different guilds were chatting around as metal sounds came out from their equipments.
Full plate armors that were enhanced, shined brightly as the Users moved.
Kaowasabe was amazed as he glanced at the Users that were gathered around at the Entrance of the Maiden's lair.
Biteme, yelled and asked the players to gather infront of him as he was about to explain the strategy that they were gonna use.
"Listen up everyone! based on the checker's information that we've received. The maiden boss uses two types of attack skills and one condition skill. The first attack skill that it uses is the "Trident's Blow" It stabs its enemies accurately with an impressive speed and this skill has a thirty minutes cooldown. And the second skill that it uses is the "Flood" It opens it's mouth and vomits a certain amount of Acidic ocean water, And this skill has also a thirty minutes cooldown.
The Condition skill that it uses is the "Siren's Warcry" A warcry that makes any individual that hears it paralyzed for fifteen seconds. So you all be careful and listen when your guild masters order you to retreat, That's when the boss will use its skills."
The gathered crowd then dispersed after biteme shared information about the Maiden boss.
Kaowasabe looked for zeth as the crowd began to move on their seperate ways.
Zeth saw kaowasabe who was desperately looking for him and waved his hand.
Kaowasabe noticed a waving hand amongst the crowd and saw that it was zeth.
Then the two shaked hands as they got closer to each other and immediately formed a party.
The party was led by zeth and along with 3 other players excluding him. So they're a 5 Man Party.
The party members introduced themselves as they went near towards kaowasabe.
"Giomonster, A cannon type gunner, level 37."
"Soyummy, A Electric type gunner, level 49."
"Muttsurini, A poison type assasin, level 35."
As the other party members introduced themselves.
"Kaowasabe, A lava knight class, Level 51." As he introduced himself to the others.
"What!? A lava knight class? For real!?
"I've never heard about that before!"
"Please carry us Lava knight."
"I'm still lacking, but I'll try my best on this raid." As kaowasabe tapped his chest with his hand.
Zeth only smiled as he looked at kaowasabe.
Then after few minutes, the guild masters along with their members entered the cave and other parties followed as well as them.
They didn't encounter any monsters while they were walking inside the underground cave which leads to the Maiden's lair.
Kaowasabe noticed that zeth promptly looked at him. But he didn't bother and thought that maybe zeth was worried that he might get lost along within this crowd.
But kaowasabe didn't knew what was about going to happen inside the raid attempt of more than 200 users.
Finally, after eight minutes of walking. They finally reached the double doors which leads next to the Boss room.
Biteme warned the users to prepare themselves thoroughly and listen to the master's orders.
Biteme slowly opened the double doors and they saw a huge mermaid-like woman with blue finned ears and red eyes with hardened blue scales covering its entire body and equipped with a trident standing infront of them.

"Maiden" is a daughter of the monarch who ruled the entire mermaid city of Luba. And was one of Monarchs that were known throughout the entire KAM.
The guild masters then screamed "Charge!" as all of the users that were gathered rushed towards the Maiden boss.
"Everyone! Follow the strategy! Do not hesitate on saving your MPs! Let that Maiden feel the power of all the 200+ users gathered here!" As Biteme yelled to increase their morale.
The maiden boss noticed that the users were firing at her with long range type skills and saw alot of them are rushing towards her.
The Maiden boss then swung its trident knocking back the charging users.
Borasen and other Electric Gunners used their skills "Pulverize" but didn't pierce through the maiden and didn't give much damage at all.
As the Maiden kept swinging his trident, Raw warriors were gathered infront to tank the damage for the Sorcerers that were casting their spells.
As the Raw warriors led by Evildoer, A Stone class warrior who had already passed his first advancement blocked the Maiden's attack with their weapons and "Stone hedge" Skill.
"Stone Hedge"
When a raw based warrior stabs their Weapon unto the ground with force, A Stone hedge pops out of the ground.
The attacks of the Maiden were being blocked by the Stone hedges causing the maiden to stutter.
The Blizzard sorcerers that were led by Biteme showed their immense magic power and casted the skill "Rain of Terror" towards the maiden.
"Rain of terror"
An icicles made of ice starts to form above the caster and showers it towards the targeted area.
A skill specified only for Blizzard sorcerers who passed their first advancement class.
The maiden took alot of damage from the multiple combos of all the Users who planned their attack patterns.
When the maiden's HP dropped to 70% it began to start its skill "Trident's Blow" A strong attack that could stab through anything ignoring its defense.
The assassins who were assigned to attack that time dealt great damage towards the Maiden.
After the Maiden received alot of the damage from the combined powers of the Poison and Blink type assassins.
The guild masters shouted to the ones near with the Maiden to back off instantly.
The maiden used "Trident's Blow" before the users could step away.
The Maiden who was enraged, Rapidly stabbed the area with his Trident with incredible speed.
The users weren't able to dodge the maiden's attack and ended up dying.
The maiden growled after it killed the users near her, Then it suddenly rushed towards the remaining users who were scattered around the area.
Flame warriors that have already passed their first advancements went and confronted the maiden.
But flame warriors were basically the weakest amongst the classes, due that they can only rely on Critical rate that doesn't appear at all times.
the Flame warriors led by Phatsackz used "Flame Predator" and ended causing alot of damage to the Maiden.
Most of the Attacks didn't activate the Critical damage but some attacks did along with Phatsackz's attack.
The Maiden backed off as it received alot of damage from the Flame warriors attack.
Kaowasabe and his party were told to standby at the side and were only allowed to attack when the signal is given.
Most of the Party-made groups that were on standby didn't belong to a guild.
The Guilds were the first ones to attack the Boss.
Then as the Maiden got more enraged as it dropped its HP to 50% it growled loudly that it shook the entire place.
The Guild masters then gives their signal, And the Party-Made users charged in to attack the Maiden.
As they poured all of their skills towards the Boss, It ignored them while it growled loudly.
As its HP dropped to 40%, The maiden gave a different vibe and vomited infront of the users.
The users were covered with acid vomit called "Flood" and immediately melts their bodies killing them immediately.
Kaowasabe who knew something wasn't right managed to dodge the "Flood" as he noticed that the Guilds are plotting unto something.
Zeth orders Giomonster and soyummy to position themselves further away from the Maiden, since they were a range type class.
Giomonster and soyummy nodded and went to position themselves further from the battlefield.
Muttsurini who had good control and was a combat expert manage to fight the Maiden head on as he kept dodging the attacks of the maiden and was confident on his speed and evasion.
Zeth tells kaowasabe to use all of his skills since the Maiden's boss is dropping rapidly due to the attacks of the other Users.
Kaowasabe then uses all of his skills as he swung his sword multiple times using the "Fire slash, Flame wave, Tornado flame" causing an impact towards the Maiden boss.
Zeth used his "Heavy slash" and managed to cut the Maiden's hard scales.
After battling for few hours.
The Maiden's HP dropped to 20% and got more enraged.
Kaowasabe noticed that zeth wasn't at his side anymore, When he turned around to look the Guilds who were leading the raid just stood away from the battlefield and didn't do anything.
When he was about to complain, The Maiden used it's skill "Siren's Warcry" and paralyzed all of the players near it. Then the Guilds charged towards the Maiden, The others improvised along with the crowds and started killing the users that were paralyze.
Kaowasabe saw alot of paralyzed players were getting killed by other users.
He then realized that the Guilds that discussed with the shared drop rule was plotting something and wanted to decrease the numbers of the participants of the raid.
As the users ran and passed through kaowasabe, He noticed that zeth was walking towards him.
"Zeth, help me out! The users that weren't aloud to move are getting killed by other users." As kaowasabe tried to move his body but wasn't able.
He knew the penalties of the PK System that could drastically lose alot of EXP even able to reduce your level by two. And a random equipment that you're using will be dropped, But most of the dropped equipments are higher rating gears.
And the last penalty was, A 24 HOURS BAN. You are unable to login to the game for 24 Hours if you get killed by another user.
Then a sudden beam of light was shot towards kaowasabe's chest, piercing through his defenses and another beam followed up piercing through his chest again causing his HP to drop up to 12%.
Kaowasabe tried to look at zeth, wanted to ask for help but he noticed that zeth had a different vibe this time as he walked closer towards kaowasabe.
As zeth got closer, He then pulls out his sword and said.
"Itadakemasu!" As zeth smiled and swung his sword towards kaowasabe's neck cutting his head off and ending his life.
This incident was later called, The Fall of the Unknown ones.
