Dungeon Chaos

The dungeon seemed to continue for quite awhile but there was no telling how long we'd be stuck in this place. My quest involved me completing it so it definitely could take some time.

I've got no idea how long this dungeon goes on but I know I'll complete it with no problem as long as I've got Rika here. Her power is definitely going to be quite helpful, on top of that multiplier.

"Anything you'll need my help with?" I question while following behind her.

"Not as far as I'm aware." Rika responds with a laid back tone.

She doesn't seem to be too worried about this whole situation so maybe it isn't the worse position to be in. Sitting back while gaining free levels without doing much work.

I'll definitely be able to power level quite a bit from this place but I don't know if I like the idea of her doing all the work here. She may not mind but I definitely do.

"Ah, I still want to help anyway." I say while looking ahead.

"Then just give your blood when I ask." Rika replies with a serious tone.

Back to stealing my blood again? Sigh.

Everything suddenly began to rumble as the walls began to open up all around us. That was random but what the hell is within the walls here?

"The walls opened for us to travel even deeper within the dungeon." Rika says while relaxing her arms behind her head.

"Think we'll have lots of enemies ahead?" I question while looking towards the openings.

"It's a dungeon. Obviously." Rika answers with an annoyed tone.

Back to the usual attitude it seems, what a pain in the ass. It seems I'll never understand this girl by any means, but deeper into the dungeon we go.

But as we entered the openings, the atmosphere felt completely different from the room before this. It felt as if everything around us was dead, but I could be entirely wrong in assuming this from this alone.

"Chaos is lurking in the shadows." Rika says while her gaze shifted on something ahead.

"What do you mean?" I ask while holding my sword up.

All I could hear was the sound of something running towards us, but then it suddenly disappeared out of nowhere. As if it was never there in the first place.

Bam!!!

Within an instant I felt my feet lift off the ground and began to soar through the air towards the wall.

Crash!!!!

Damnit that really hurt!! I fell to the ground but held myself up with my sword, this wasn't the place to be laying around.

"Sev are you okay?!?" Rika shouts with a concerned tone.

Before I could speak a sharp pain immediately went into my stomach. I looked down to see a dagger stabbed into my stomach, where did this even come from.

It's hands finally appeared and that's when I noticed that it was an enemy I had never seen before.

"Lurking within the dungeon unprepared is never safe." The Being said while twisting the dagger.

"Fyuhhh!" I let out a bit of A scream as blood dripped from my wound.

"Yes, scream in pain." The Being says while holding the dagger tightly.

My regeneration was doing it's best to heal my wounds but it wasn't working since I was still sustaining damage.

Pow!!!!!

The being before me was sent flying away from me and I could only feel this pain going throughout my stomach. It definitely hurt like hell, even with this damn regeneration.

"Give me your hand." Rika says while staring at me with a serious expression on her face.

She seems serious but I don't know if it's a good idea to be giving away my blood so much, especially after taking that much damage. Shit, I didn't even see the damn person.

Drip. Drip.

The dagger is still in my stomach, it let go.

"What if I say no?" I question while grabbing hold of the dagger.

I began to rip out the dagger as blood began to spill out from my wound. This was a pretty bad wound, considering it was only from a dagger.

"Then I'll take it." Rika says while moving closer to me.

That's when she leaned over and began to bite into my neck. The pain wasn't as bad as before when she first did it.

But like before it only took a few moments for her to take some of my blood. Her aura was different again, but I wonder how long it lasts.

"Thanks for asking." I say while wiping my neck.

"Thanks for the treat Kid." Rika replies while walking away.

Fwoosh!!!

She immediately dashed away from me and went towards the direction of the being, but I don't know if it's really there still. That thing just got by like nothing before so what if it was just waiting for her to strike.

"A special companion to have by your side." The being whispers to me.

"How the hell did you get here?!?" I question while stepping away a bit.

"She's strong but only caught me off guard." It answers while pulling out another dagger.

"What are you?!?!" I ask while lifting my sword back up.

This thing didn't even need the dagger from before so it's definitely not going to have a problem fighting against me.

"A Watcher from above known as Jion." Jion says while moving closer.

But before it could get closer, Rika dashed back towards me and punched Jion away again.

"So it's from my world, what a pain in the ass." Rika says with a pissed off tone.

"Your world?!?!" I question with a confused tone.

So that's what it means to be from above, how strange for it to refer to their world in that manner.

"I should be able to handle it." Rika says while her claws begin to form again.

They seem a lot more reinforced compared to before so maybe my blood really does help. She wasn't kidding about dungeon chaos after all.
