Don't Back down

I watched as my blood dripped down the pillar, was this the end of my journey?

No it couldn't be the end yet, there's too much left for me to do before I die so I need to defeat this boss. Maybe if I can cast a strong enough fireball at the piller it could break it if infused correctly.

I aimed my hand down towards the bottom of the pillar and began to activate the fireball spell as fast as I could. I'll need a lot of force behind this or else I'm not going to be able to get off of this thing.

The heat I began to feel within my hand was a sign that this was the right way to use the spell but now I need to try and channel some of my kings strength into it.

That's when I let the flame go out of my hand and towards the bottom of the pillar.

Boooooom!!!!!!!!! The ground around the pillar broke about as the impact of the fireball radiates across everything.

The pillar shattered into pieces as the ground continues to break but now I was free and about to hit the ground myself.

Without hesitation I quickly used my hand to push off the ground so that I could land back on my feet.

"Maybe you have fight left in you after all." The Keeper of souls says with a bit of shock behind his voice.

The regeneration managed to kick in after I destroyed the pillar so that's good but now I'm still stuck with this low amount of health. My body can definitely feel the amount of health I have because it hurts all over my damn body.

Looking ahead at this monstrosity I realized that I need to finish this battle as fast as possible since my friends can't hold out forever against the army.

With that being the case it's time to attack once more. Don't back down Sevarian, you got this.

Dash!! Running towards the keeper once more I had prepared myself a lot better compared to before.

I've got a better understanding of how this boss attacks and I won't let it get the best of me again, this will be the end of its gate.

"You've been underestimating me this whole fight. Time to show you the real power I possess." I say while channeling a fireball within my hand once more.

The Kings fireball wasn't hard to use as long as I used my skills power to infuse the fireball each time. Time to throw this fireball at this asshole and end him once and for all.

I threw the fireball as fast as I could and if I wasn't fast I wouldn't have been able to see it at all. The strength and speed I possess is such a lucky thing for me to have at all times.

Swoosh!!! The fireball continued to move at light speed towards the boss until finally it connected.

Boooooom!!!! The explosion fogged up everything for a few moments as the screeches of the boss echoed throughout the room.

"You got lucky system user!! I swear you'll meet your end no matter what!!" The keeper of souls shouts as he burns.

It seems I got quite the amount of levels but I think the points went down. The leveling system makes sense though since it wouldn't make a lot of sense for me to get an outrageous amount of points each time.

My stats aren't terrible, I don't think I'll invest in anything at the moment till there's a good reason to. Maybe after getting some more points it'll be a better idea but for now I'd rather wait awhile.

"Sevy the enemies are all gone." Rika says with a bit of relief behind her voice.

I don't think any of them could handle anymore fighting if it didn't come to an end soon. The boss was defeated and we could move on right?

"It seems so. Guess we just need to find the exit now." I respond while looking around us for a few moments.

The exit can't be far since it wasn't far when we completed the first gate.

~To think you have completed the second gate, you truly are going to be a perfect user for the monarch.

"Some sort of door is opening up behind you Sevarian." Kallista says while observing from the distance.

I turned around to see that she wasn't lying, the door was opening up but it wasn't there beforehand. One could only assume that it's the exit out of this damn place.

"Probably best that we had back through it." I speak up while making my way towards the door.

"I agree." Elizabeth says while following behind me.

It was time to return to normal world. Well, not so normal world but that's not the point of me saying it to myself.

~Light began to engulf the group as they went through but then the real world began to slowly appear before them as each second went by.

That is definitely a spot on description, yet something strikes me the wrong way with this new system manager.

"This world really does need a lot of help." Kallista says while taking a few glances around.

"Exactly why we are stopping the gates, then the monarch." I respond with a serious tone behind my voice.
