That's the first time I've seen a gap this big but I'm not going to turn back after everything we've gone through to get to this damn boss.

{Activate King's Strength}

Everything began to course throughout my body after activating and I could feel the strength coming to me once again. It was time for me to fight the boss that's been calling to me since I've arrived here.

"System user, an interesting battle awaits us." The Keeper of souls says while drawing it's weapon.

"We got your back Sevarian." Kallista speaks up while standing behind me with her sword drawn.

I'm not alone in this battle, I haven't been alone since this whole thing started.

∆System Error∆ Shifting View temporarily.

A bunch of undead warriors began to rise, similar to the one that Onyx had fought back in the beginning of the gate. There was a lot more than before.

"Hold them off, I'll handle the boss!" Sevarian shouts before dashing in towards the keeper of souls.

All of his skills were kicking in.

Clang!!!! Fooosh!!!!

Sevarian clashed against the keeper of souls giant blade which appeared to be the same as his undead warriors. This was going to be tough fight for sure.

"Your soul will make for a perfect addition to my collection." The Keeper says while up against Sevarian's sword.

"Too bad that won't be happening today." Sevarian responds while backing up.

Sizzle. A ball of fire begins to form from Sevarian's hand as he gets ready to throw it towards the enemy.

Boom!!!! An explosion goes off as the fireball is thrown and hits near the gate boss.

A giant cloud of smoke begins to form, making it almost impossible to see anything in the room now.

"I can't see the enemies!" Rika shouts while looking around.

Slam!! Immediately an undead warriors slams it's fists down onto Rika and all anyone can hear is the shockwave of the fists connecting.

The two seemed to be clashing but this wasn't the only enemy in the area.

"Watch out Rika!" Elizabeth shouts while beginning to cast an ice spell.

Swoosh!!! Shatter!!!!

The Ice immediately broke off of another enemy that was about to attack Rika and killed it instantly.

"We need more of those!" Rika shouts back to Elizabeth.

As the smoke cleared, the keeper was visible once more and it appears that it wasn't just waiting there for the smoke to clear. The Keeper had been reinforcing it's blade with all different enchantments to make it stronger than before.

"The battle isn't ending yet, is it?" The Keeper of Souls asks while running it's fingers across it's blade.

"No." Sevarian Responds before dashing in once more.

Their blades began to clash once again but this time Sevarian could feel his blade beginning to push back more towards him. His blade wasn't going to withstand the amount of pressure that the Keepers sword was putting on it.

"You're friends don't look too well back there." The Keeper points out.

Sevarian tries to resist the urge to look back but ends up giving in. He turns around to see what appears to be his friends being outnumbered by the enemy warriors.

Drip. Drip. Drip.

"Huh?" Sevarian questions while turning around.

A dagger was in his gut with blood beginning to drip down from it.

~HP Dropping.

∆ System Restored ∆ View Returning to normal.

My thoughts were all shifting as my health began to drop lower and lower, with pain behind each passing second. I've got to kill the keeper of souls but yet my body is starting to feel so numb.

I've not really had this feeling before, the feeling of dying.

{HP: 1450 remaining}

Everything is dropping while my friends are still fighting, is there even a way out of this?

My regeneration won't work because the dagger is still there but stepping back could work if I do it fast enough. That'll give me a chance to take the dagger out so that I can heal my wound.

"My friends can handle themselves quite well." I manage to say before dashing back.

I had a lot of people counting on me in this world, even if they don't know who I am.

"What do you plan to do now? You've taken too much damage already Sevarian. The Soul Keeper mentions while staring at me from across the room.

I manage to give myself enough space to pull this damn thing out, so here goes nothing.

I wrapped both my hands around the handle of the dagger and began to pull it out as the pain went throughout my body.

Gah! Come on Sevarian, you can do this.

Rip! Clang!!!

The dagger hit the ground and my blood fell onto the ground for a few more seconds before the wound healed.

{HP: 800 remaining}

I've got enough health to get through this, so I believe at least.

"Impressive move. To think you'd have regeneration is shocking, most system users have to rely on items such as potions." The Keeper of souls says while twirling another dagger around.

It's words went in one ear and out the other because I didn't really care about what this monster had to say.

All of my skills are still active so I just need to attack this thing already.

I kicked off the ground to give myself some momentum towards the keeper as I drew my sword once more. Unlike how the real world works, my sword seems to be able to reappear at my will.

As I got close to the keeper I quickly shifted to the right and dived head on while getting ready to slash down with my sword.

"Fatal." The Keeper of Souls whispers.

As I slashed down at the keeper I noticed something come up right below me.

Pierce!!!

My attack hit but something went through me again and now I'm held up in the air...

Yeah I can see that. But then I noticed something about the boss change.

[Keeper of Souls] [Lvl 110] [HP: 5000/25000]

I did that much damage in that instance to make it's health go down so low. Haha...
