(General POV)
Location the Warhammer 40k World-The Immaterium: The Neutral Zone of Chaos, the Mount Olympus-The Palace of the Dark Gods, The Council Chamber of Calamities
Once all the "younger" Chaos Gods, have calmed down and reassured and expressed forgiveness to their kids and wives specifically, Aiikila suggested that Limos, Evaline, and Painwheel leave to the Banquet Hall, while they discuss things.
Limos and Evaline hugged their parents and rushed to the entrance waiting for their new cousin, Painwheel seemed a little hesitant, and turned her bright red eyes to her parents almost pleading for some sort of guidance, cause this is utterly foreign for her, but her father reached down and affectionly petted her head, and her mothers smile at her and encouraged her, a smile was now adorning her masked face.
With her tail, swaying happily in the air, as she respectfully bowed to them and rushed to meet her new...cousins...leaving the adults of their Pantheon, to continue the meeting without worrying them further.
Laharl respected the parental nature and love his brothers and sisters-in-law were showing their daughters...and with a glimpse to his youngest brother, and his fiancee...knowing Mitochondria Eve, it will be soon for them wanting the Changer's child, and quite honestly he will not be surprised that they haven't already started to sleep together...he mentally shuttered, at the mental picture of those two making love, like a hardcore hentai...Laharl shuke his head, not being a fan of whatever type of play those lovers are into...
Their meeting resumed, as Laharl explain more of the Necron, from a bit of their fighting style on the battlefield which is mostly using super advance technology to overwhelm their enemies with disintegrating firepower, eradicating close range weapons, and their unique powers, while in GW lore they don't use the Warp for anything, their technology can use was akin to psyker powers.
Plus their annoying recall/resurrection protocol which if not extremely damages and with no support constructs they can die at last, and most importantly he told his brothers of the necrons immunity to psychic damage, which in turn made them very difficult enemies for daemonic Chaos forces, like themselves.
This annoyed them all especially Tzeentch, but then the Dark One said, "But you all forget. We are now more than psychic or daemonic entities. We are also magical ones as well." as soon as Laharl said those words, Tzeentch was no longer annoyed, but instead the Blood Gods were instead.
Camilla smiled in a jagged grin, and placed her gloved hand over her mouth, she brushed her deep reddish color hair and spoke to her brother-in-law, "Heheheheeheehe. Dear brother, and sisters of Chaos, my darling is not telling you to use magic in the upcoming war. No, no, no. That will be our job, while you tear up everything." Camilla took a pause, and her yellowish eye turn towards her beloved husband, and said, "Right darling." Laharl chuckled and thought, "Ohh sweet Camilla. Chaotic and the proprietor of anarchy. I'd love for her to face, the Radio Demon in the future, cause the Hazbin Hotel world is one of my targets in the future." as he spoke out loud now, "Is as Camilla said Khorne. In this upcoming war we need all our individuals strengths to crush this wannabe soulless immortal tin-cans."
His words had the desired affects, they calmed down Khorne, Valkia, and Bellona, the Blood God, he scuffed and made a small head gesture that signaled him to continue explaining, these new enemies and skulls that will soon join the piles of skulls on their thrones.
Regardless of the Blood Gods distained for magic, they agreed with Camilla's crude and clearly mocking words to them, it was clear to the Blood Gods that their daemons are going to be the frontliners against these xenos, but returning to the Dark One's explanations.
That they still have the advantage, since none of their more powerful weapons, and warriors are awakened yet, and this will serve, as a great and exciting opportunity to face a new opponent aside from Eldars, Orkz, and each other in the Materium, in the Anarkarr Stars.
Beside that, this was also a very important battle that none of the Dark Gods can afford to lose, as he told them that should they lose or allow any Necron to escape the world, for this will insure not only their defeat but quite possibly their eternal damnation.
For what the main goal of the necron is to eradicate all life in their world, while they'll not perish and fade away for they are feeding slightly of the other world that they just "graced" with their form of Chaos, from the Arrowverse to Dark Crystal worlds, those can sustain them but they'll be just slightly comfort prisoners, but then he mentioned something that made them all angry, him included, "While this will be a barely acceptable fate for us...our children of now and in the future will suffer." all of them, released their angered fueled auras.
Everything that the Dark One just said, is completely true.
While they as fully formed deities can preserve in such a grim existence, Limos, Eveline, Mandraggohza, Krom, Gjelbër, and
Painwheel, as well as any born after that will greatly suffer without worship and souls to nourish them.
Jade, Valkia, and Chi cradled their babies closer and showed their affection to them, with that their rage was quelled for now, as Laharl went on to tell them that because this Tombworld, is soo close to the Anarkarr Stars it will be easy for them to send their legions to attack, cause this isn't batte is a extermination, against those that threatened their kin.
They agreed with the eldest among them, already two of them knew their role in the incoming battle, Khorne and his legion will be in charge of their offensive and the frontlines against the Necron.
Tzeentch and his legion will be the rear-guard, and take charge of the long range, spellcasting, since their psychic powers are useless, and turning to Nurgle the Dark One told him, that the Necron have a unnaturally powerful resistance, and immunity to his diseases and decay...but not magically infused plagues, this made the Decaying God smile, and he understood their role.
The Plague Legions, will be their advancing vanguard and also the crippling force against the necrons, bombarding the enemy with magic infused decaying, plagues at the xenos.
Lastly Laharl will serve as support on all positions, he didn't mind having his legion serve as a reinforcement to all positions in the battle.
Since Laharl has always considered making his daemons versatile, and be able to fit any role in war, while Khorne is physical strength, Nurgle is endurance and poisoning, Tzeentch is overpowering ranged psychic might and spellcasting, completely covering all their roles in the upcoming battle.
Then the Dark Harbinger, though of their future members of their family and pantheon, since Slaanesh is the greatest at speed over all the daemonic forces, Ultnarth is outnumbering his enemies with skaven, Hashut will probably be the strongest in daemonic engines and dark sorcery over psyker might, and quite possibly Vashtorr would be the most advanced on daemonic technology over all other Daemon Legions, all in all once united, plus also the future Space Chaos Marine Legions under their service, as his brothers think of strategies against the Necrons, and Laharl already expressed that he's daemons are support to all their legions, he started to think of the future Chaos Marine Legions and their roles in the 40k era.
Since Horus Lupercal's, Sons of Horus, which are masters of offensive warfare, and basically the jack-of-all-trades of Chaos Marines, as Chaos Undivided they'll command these Chaos Marines in equal amounts, and since his main goal is to save Horus, he'll remain the undisputed Warmaster of Chaos, and quite possibly the only true unifier of the Traitor Legions.
Next of the undivided Lorgar Aurelian's, Word Bearers, while their main role is to spread the influence of Chaos across the various human worlds, and being the fanatical zealots for the Dark Gods, they're quite skilled in summoning, possession, and rituals of Chaos and Daemons, with the addition of magic they'll likely be able to rival the Thousand Sons in sorcery but not psychic might.
The twin Primarchs, Alpharius & Omegon, the masters of the Alpha Legion, the spymasters that specialize on sabotage, espionage, assassinations, and infiltration, with the Dark One, saving them from their deaths...or at least supposed deaths, as he wouldn't be surprised that they'd might have fake it to secure their "plans", plus actually providing them with a sure method of securing mankind's survival in fully joining Chaos, instead of just being the most obscured and unalligned faction of all 40k, their skills used exclusively for Chaos benefits would be a great asset.
Lastly from the "undivided" category of Chaos Marines, are the Iron Warriors of Perturabo, these Chaos Marines are masters of siege warfare, taking down fortifications with unimaginable force and firepower, by providing Perturabo the recognition, respect, and admiration that he always desired throughout his life, he and his sons will fully commit to Chaos, instead of just "toying" with it, also they are the sole masters of "daemonic engineering" which meant that once Hashut, and Vashtorr join them that of all the Legions, the Iron Warriors might obtain their most favor and notice, next to the Chaos Dwarf or Chaos Votann as they were renamed in Lore.
Laharl already chose to corrupt one of the two forgotten Primarchs, and said Primarch's legion as his own, his other choice is to save the Night Haunter himself, Konrad Curze, making him his greatest "mortal" champion in the 40k World, and in turn make the Night Lords, a true Chaos Legion over a renegade one.
The Night Lords, are the specialist using fear as a weapon, maniacs that overwhelm their victims with terror tactics and using large amounts of Raptors in battle, with Curze fully turn to Chaos, specifically in the worship of Carnage, they'll be the most perfect legion to be under Laharl's worship and service.
Khorne's chosen champion, Angron the Lord of the Red Sands, with Laharl providing Khorne with needing information to secure the absolute loyalty and service of Angron, and that is to do what the Emperor refused to do, save his gladiator family, and actually honor them, once Angron learns of this kindness, the first Primarch to ascend into daemonhood will be obedient and devoted to the Blood God.
Regardless Angron's legion are the World Eaters, the slaughterers of countless, the masters of close and ruthless warfare, preferring using melee over firepower, the most favored warriors of Khorne, and the originators of the khorne berserkers.
Next is the Rot Lord's favorite heralds and servents, the Death Guard of Primarch, Mortarion, before they fell to Chaos they were already the greatest of all Legion on endurance, surviving massive amounts of damage, marching forwards and devastating them with relentless volley of attack.
Once Typhus offered them to Nurgle, they're endurance, drastically increased and they loss most if not all sense of pain, gaining even more methods of destroying their enemies, literally infecting, or poisoning, or converting the masses into the loving embrace of Papa Nurgle, and thus creating the Plague Marines, using bio-weaponry and plagues to spread death in astronomical proportions, plus Nurgle can possibly claim the other forgotten legion to enhance his power, and the number of his mortal followers.
Magnus the Red, and his Thousand Sons, are Tzeentch's chosen, all fell to his service and worship from Magnus' ego and arrogance, along with Horus' manipulation of the Space Wolves.
The Thousand Sons are the most powerful psyker warrior, and tzeentchian sorcerers of all Chaos Marines, and like father, Ahriman arrogance cost the legion, turning majority of the legion into dust made automitons known as Rubric Marines, while the Thousand Sons originally were the masters of the use psychic power in war, with the addition of magic into the world, by the Chaos Gods, they'll also be the strongest magic sorcerers amongst the Chaos Legions.
Then there is Slaanesh's legion, that being Fulgrim's legion, the Emperor's Children, the source of Noise Marine masters of sonic weaponry, using pain and pleasure to enhance their combat performance, which includes drugs as well, plus aside from the World Eaters, they might be the second greatest Chaos Legion in close combat.
As the meeting/war council of the Dark Gods, was reaching it finals moments, as they decided to sent out each a Elder Daemon to lead their respected legion.
Laharl chose Mordred Deathharbinger, Khorne chose Kratos, Nurgle laughed and chosed his newest Elder Daemon, Gallon, and lastly Tzeentch chose Vilitch the Curseling, securing the chain of command in the upcoming war, they started discussing the final strategies of the coming battle. (I wanted to take this moment, to also speak of the Alternative Legions, for the story and also their roles, in the story, especially for those that don't read the axillary chapters.)
Thinking more in depth about the Chaos Legions, the Dark One thought, "There are infinite amounts of alternative versions of worlds, including the Warhammer 40k world. Why can't I bring different versions of the Astartes Legions from other worlds, into ours?" he started to think, when would be best moment to merge the various alternative realities of Warhammer 40k into one...and there wasn't any other better moment than the Siege of Terra.
When Horus and his Traitor Legions attack Terra, Laharl, he along with his siblings, shall tear reality and merge the worlds into one, and bring all various Astartes Legions into the main world, plus this will massively affect and expand their world, adding more planets and souls to corrupt and consume by them, the Dark One, smirk as he though of the alternative legions that will join their respective service.
First the alternative Undivided Chaos Legions, like the Imperial Fists in the Dornian Heresy, replace the Sons of Horus as the main source of corrupting and converting the other legions into Chaos and rebelling against the Emperor in a alternative dimension.
Alternative Rogal Dorn is the Arch-Traitor, the Undivided Champion and his legions are masters of fortification warfare, which are enhanced by the blessings of the Chaos Gods, Laharl plans to also save this Arch-Traitor like Horus in their world.
While in the Dornian Heresy world, the Ultramarines aren't a Chaos Legion, just rebels standing against Chaos and the Imperium, meaning that they are the only actual Traitor/Renegade Legion in the Dornian Heresy World.
Ultramarines are the literal jack-of-all-trades, while being capable in various styles of warfare, and using all matter of units and war-vehicles in battles, along with having a large number of psykers, by looking for a alternative Ultramarines, that actually are followers of Chaos, they'll be the most versatile Chaos Undivided legion in the Dark Gods service.
The Iron Hands in the Dornian Heresy, are technically a Renegade Legion, but what makes them special that, that Ferrus Manus is actually a technophile, and embrace the mutilation and replacement of all organic with cybernetic, and when he obtain his famed "Iron Arms", the Dornian Heresy version of Medusa is actually a Tombworld, and he and his sons took the Necron technology to enhance themselves.
By offering them more and unlimited power, and technology to enhance themselves, they'll become Chaos followers, and like the original Iron Warriors, they'll gain a lot of favor from Hashut and Vashtorr.
As for their specialization, the Iron Hands, are masters of the use of overwhelming firepower, and using a large amount war-vehicles, dreadnoughts, along with techmarines in battle, but unlike the original Iron Hands, the Dornian Heresy version also use necron weaponry and mechs in battle as well.
The Salamanders of Vulkan, in the Dornian Heresy are originally a Chaos Undivided aligned Chaod Legion, but the main reason of the alternative Vulkan and his Salamanders fall to Chaos, was the mistrust, abuse, and dis-appreciation that all mankind showed towards them, even with their dedication and sacrifices for the people of the Imperium, made them turn to Chaos.
Laharl could show appreciation, acceptance, adoration, and care for Vulkan and his Salamanders, will make them fall into his service of Carnage, and many other of his divine authorities, like the original Salamanders, these Space Marines are twice the size and strength, master blacksmiths, and specialize in using flame based weaponry, but unlike the original they'll be enhanced by the dark powers of Carnage, and the Chaos Alternative Legion that will receive fire magic lore for their arsenal.
While in the Dornian Heresy world, the Blood Angels are Nurgle worshipping...which made no sense, to Laharl.
So he'll transfer a different Sanguinius and Blood Angels from another dimension, one that they are Khorne worshippers, as they should, plus the "resurrection" of Sanguinius, as a Daemon Primarch of Khorne, all the Blood Angels of the main world will fall to Khorne, empowering Khorne and Chaos as a whole.
Blood Angels are Space Marines that rival the World Eaters both in brutality, and fighting ability, with many worlds becoming compliance just by the mention of the Blood Angels are coming to their world, with the Blood Gods' influence and blessing they'll become much stronger, violent, brutal, and bloodthirsty than ever before, and they'll actually embrace the Red Thirst and the Black Rage, as literal khornate vampires.
Alternative Leman Russ, and his sons, the Space Wolves fell to Khorne in the Dornian Heresy, cause the Council of Nikaea, had a different verdict which is the acceptance of psykers into the Imperium and in the Legions, despising and mistrusting the witches (psykers) he attacked Magnus and sons' homeworld of Prospero, and in the blood baptism, through massacre of thousands of psykers, ascended Leman Russ into a khornate daemonhood, and the alternative Space Wolves fell to Khorne.
Like the original Space Wolves, they specialize in savage and aggressive offensive warfare, along with using massive wolves, known as Thunderwolves, as partners and even as mounts in battle.
But these alternative Space Wolves, have khornate blessing making them into blood-wulfen, blood stormwolves, and drastically increased aggression, savagery, and bloodlust in the name of the Blood God.
The ones that fell to Tzeentch in the Dornian Heresy, instead of the Thousand Sons were the Raven Guard, as their Primarch, Corvus Corax, accepting Tzeentch's offering to save himself and his sons after the traitors turn and cause the Isstavan Massacre.
He became a Daemon Primarch, and the Raven Guard tzeentchian followers, using their stealth, flight, and spining expertise in the name of Changer, plus this will grant them a increase number of psykers, and with them coming into their world they'll also gain magical capabilities as well.
Another alternative astartes legion, that could serve Tzeentch, can be the Dark Angels of Lion El'Jonson.
The Changer can use the Lion and his sons fears, paranoia, and hopelessness to corrupt them, after a large part of the legion turn traitor and defeated them, offering them hope and the opportunity to change their fate, to gain his second Chaos Legion, plus a more melee focus army in his service.
Like the original Dark Angels, they are jack-of-all-trades but not like that their good on various things, but good at many roles using exclusive squads, dedicate to that role, and these squads are called "Wings", but unlike the original Dark Angels, these alternative will be blessed by the Changer of Ways, gaining daemonic magic, mutations, and more in the honor of Tzeentch, thus creating more "Wings" dedicated to psychic and magical forces, but their main focus is being the magical melee force of Architech of Fate.
Lastly there is the Dornian Heresy, Jaghatai Khan, and his legion of the White Scars, fell to the seduction and temptations of Slaanesh, finding the thrill of speed, the ecstacy of battle and causing pain, and other dark fetishes, providing Slaanesh a legion that specializes in high-speed warfare, and using fast vehicles in battle.
All in all, Laharl was very pleased and his plans for the still to come Horus Heresy, will bring untold amount of Chaos and anarchy.
Now with the War Council is done, all the Chaos Gods, left to their respected domains to amass their daemonic legions to attack Cyrpheruss, and prepare their Elder Daemons for the upcoming challenge that they're about to face...as well as ordering them to fight alongside one another, regardless Chaos is about to face against the "Unliving" of the 40k World.
