Cyrpheruss Invasion Part 3: Chaotic Shifts

(General POV)

Location the Warhammer 40k World-The Materium/Realspace: The Outer Rim of the Milky Way-North, Outside of Anarkarr Stars-Tombworld Cyrpheruss Surface-Necron vs. Daemons of Chaos

With Kratos offering another kill/skull to the Blood Gods, the forces of Khorne were further invigorated, and fighting more ferociously, especially with the Hallowed Blood Temples enhancing them already.

Kratos removed his [Spear of Destiny] from the badly, damaged body of the robotic xeno, and returned to battle alongside his fellow blood daemons.

At the sametime, Ahhephokh, has managed to takedown and banished the Great Unclean One, foolish enough to challenge him, smashing his Abyssal Staff onto the sandy ground, releasing a burst of neon-green electric currents from the impact area.

Ahhephokh was getting more, and more iratated by the course the battle was going, it was clear that war was basically a colossal battle of attrition, which would have been in their complete advantage with their reanimation protocols, and immunity over the weak psyker powers that their ancient enemies once used against, long, long time ago.

Ahhephokh, shut off (closed) his optics, and was focusing all his processing power and will to awaken more necrons, from other tombs that were near his own personal tombs.

He refused to fall or fail, the empire will rise again, and reclaim the stars once again!!!

As Ahhephokh was detecting thousands of necron warriors, which included some more canoptek constructs which included some old Doomstalkers and ... some dozen of Lokhust Destroyers which are Necrons fused to floating chassis which serve as heavy weapons platforms, armed with a huge and devastating Gauss Cannon.

They are essentially modified Immortals, Deathmarks, or Lychguard who have given up their physical forms in pursuit of destruction, these deranged agents of annihilation see their sole existence as quenching the flames of life.

As Ahhephokh's optics lite up, a menacing green again, he began to laugh smuggly as he awaken more reinforcements for his forces, as the white sands of Cyrpheruss, started to shake and rise, as huge platforms lowered onto other tombs, forming ramps for the recently awakened necrons to leave their tombs, and fight for him.

Watching from the Immaterium, the Dark Gods were not really shocked by this outcome, as Laharl did described the necron, as a "legion of death", but they were still eager of the flow of this important battle for Chaos.

The necron reinforcements, started to arise and march out of their tombs, and onto the battle, five long, files of necron warriors with active gauss weapons, were marching in mechanical precision behind several Lokhust Destroyers, leading the march to battle on their floating platforms of a lower bodies, immediately when they were outside onto the desert landscape, they started firing at their daemonic enemies, under Ahhephokh's command.

Several knightmares, succubi, stalkers, bloodletters, blood valkyries, hell wraths, plaguebearers, and beasts of nurgle were shot/blasted down, all the while the horrors of Tzeentch were the only lesser daemons, were taking advantage on the necrons' blasts, as pink horrors, split into two blue horrors, and the blues were split into four brimstone horrors.

Doubling, over the losses that the tzeentchian forces suffered in the latest, offensive of the necrons.

With a cackling and wicket laughter, as they started to channel the eldritch, unknowable, magic power of Tzeentch, to form various colored, eldritch fireballs in their claw-tipped hands.

As they hurled those fireballs, at the necron reinforcements, soon enough the horrors gain their own reinforcements from their own kin, from Hell Prides, Screamers, Flamers, Changecasters, and sorm Lords of Change and Malachis, along with some Hallowed Change Temples floating over then.

Lokhust Destroyers, aim at the huge avian-reptilian daemons, as well as the Cthulhu like Greater Daemons of Change.

Firing their Gauss Cannons at the most powerful, and more dangerous targets amongst the enemy, speaking of the tzeentchian forces.

Vilitch the Second Elder Daemon of Change, were in a middle of another engagement with the necrons, Thomin's sword was stabbed to the energy cross point of the blade, while Vilitch was conjuring a powerful blue and green colored wind spell, called [Magarula] which is the mid-level all targeting wing spell from the shin megumi tense verse.

Meanwhile as the massive blue and green gale, burst fort around them, small swarm of the starfish daemons, the decarabias were casting [Amp-Wind] on their Elder Daemon, enhancing the power and damage of Vilitch's, [Magarula] spell.

As Thomin, kick the lifeless husk of the necron, off his daemonic sword, stomping forward, passing through without issue through his brother's wind spell, as the decarabias followed them in the air, while the Twins were not even close of satisfied with crushing theirs and their Dark Master's enemies.

Another part of the Cyrpheruss battlefield, the legions of Nurgle were fighting against another large number of necrons, the nurglish daemons, were fighting in joy, as not only the sloppity bilepipers were dancing and playing around the other children of Nurgle, making them happy and excited, the Hallowed Plague Temples, cascading untold vile and puss onto them is making them happier...and more disgusting as they fought.

King Gallon, was in the middle of said engagement with the necrons, the plaguebearers and poxbringers directly fighting the necron warriors, while the nurglings played and swarm onto the scarabs, with the plague scorpionlings adding the little bloated imps.

While the hell sloths were quickly teleporting around the battle, swinging their rusted scythes onto their victims, and in the air, the repulsive khaos were raining down vile and acidic projectiles down onto the enemy, while the plague flies and plague drones were swooping down onto their victims.

A infectious battle, while Gallon lifting his massive body and smashed his frontal claws, down onto the ground.

This caused a massive quake, and splash of horrific spew onto the uncrushed necrons, underneath the claws of Gallon, with a deep laugh, the three heads, open their skull mouths, and once again released a vile, green miasma onto their enemies.

They living to their name, as the legions of the True God of Death.

The Carnage Legion, were supporting all the other daemonic legions, just as the Dark One had command, while unusual for them to fight alongside their enemies, as support instead of the usual parties fighting on various spots with other daemonic legions, with the rare exception of facing off against a great enemy, like now, they hardly act as support.

At the sametime the void and abyssal wraiths, along with some infernals and a few infernal lords were backing up the tzeentchian forces, using magic from various lores, while the hell prides, and infernals were acting as the melee force against the necron, along with the Dark One's, shadow phantom daemons, the oscurias, acting like specters swinging their shadow made scythes, they were tearing through the necron warriors, from their new weakness towards magic.

At that moment a Lord of Change, struck a bunch of necrons and sentinels with a fire spell of a [Piercing Bolts of Burning] creating a couple, large lance-like, projectile of daemonic fire, launching them at the necrons, with the more magical aligned Abyssal Defilers casting a number of pure darkness, composes projectiles [Dark Bolts] at the necrons, along with the tzeentchian Greater Daemon.

The legions of plague and disease, were engaged alongside some of the Dark Harbinger's daemons.

King Gallon and his fellow plague daemons, were fighting with the necrons, with the vile ivies and stalkers pinning down their enemies with poisonous, nauseous vines and daemonic fire breathe, while the observers floated in with some of the Hallowed Carnage Temples, joining the carapace eyeball daemons, both proving support to the daemonic constructs with the succubi bound to the Hallowed Carnage Temples, were dancing and touching each other, as they cast spell onto the necrons that were aiming at their temples.

Snail riding Ooze Knights alongside the Pox Riders, were slowly crawling and hopping their way towards, the three Lokhust Destroyers, firing at the plague-kin, as said floating platformed necrons, senced the incoming, daemonic ground calvary of Nurgle, but before they could begin their counterstrike against the ooze knights, pox riders, and plague toads along with the stalkers that joined the charge, at the lokhust destroyers, before they can attack the desert grounds of Cyrpheruss, started to shake.

Bursting out the ground, was the largest common hellbeast under the service of the Rot Lord, giant worms covered in worts, blemishes, pustules, and other disgusting traits on their pale, sickly green tinted bodies, these are the Death Diggers. (Think of a Starcraft, Nydus Worms, but a lot more nurglish in aspect and appearance.)

The death diggers, spew giant, acidic projectiles at the lokhust destroyers, that barely evade their attacks, as the death diggers, retracted back below only exposing their giant heads with multiple infected, green colored eyes.

They opened their seven split mouths, with multiple horrific and disgusting features, blackish infected hooked teeth, several rotting, and maw covered tentacles and tendrils, as massive legion of nurglish daemons from both the Anarkarr Stars, and the Garden were spawning and crawling out the death diggers maws.

These daemon beasts, were a creation and gift from Princess Limos to her dear father, Nurgle, both Nurgle and Aiikila were still proud and impressed with their little Limos, as they gave her praise and affection, those included in the shower of praise and love, were sister, cousin, uncles and aunts, making the little Chaos Goddess of Famine and Hunger, blush and feel bashful...returning to the Soulless War, the reinforcements of the Plague Legions, immediately attack the necrons, like a slow, high contagious, plague.

The rest of laharlish daemons, were fighting alongside their unstoppable, Elder Daemon, Mordred Deathharbinger, shooting, slashing, and crushing all his enemies.

As the rest of his carnage kin, the succubi, allure stingers, hell seductresses, and their greater ascended sisters, the Lujuria Dancers, were storming their necron victims, in a swift, sensual, and ruthless assault of claws, bladed-chains, ring blades, and more, all the while the abyssalnites were leading the fellow knightmares, slaughter calvary, mortifinis, hell lusts, and they were reinforced with the added strength of the infernals, a brutal, crazy attack without any sort of unity, just wanted destruction.

As the necron warriors, sentinels, spyders, and more were overwhelmed by the laharlish daemons, never had they experienced these daemons before, (lore stated that Necrons have faced daemons of Khorne, Nurgle, and Tzeentch, during the War of Heaven, since I changed the timeline by accident, since I didn't know in depth on the War of Heaven, let just say Warp shenanigans, and daemons from them came through a time warp, during such a crucial moments in that war, fixing the lore.) they act completely different than any of the warp-entities they've faced before.

This of course infuriated Ahhephokh, as cleaved and smashed various daemons, from stalkers to flesh hounds.

With more hellbeasts coming at him, with the beasts of Nurgle, wrathful cerberuses, screamers, observers, and more, he let out the metallic sounding, tongue-flick, as he activated the power inside of his weapon, causing the top of the abyssal staff, to surge with neon-green sparks of power.

Ahhephokh waited for the daemon beasts, to get into range of his attack, once they almost reached the position that he'd desired his enemies to be on, placing both his metallic claws onto the staff pole, and with a wide, rising, horizontal swing.

Releasing a powerful, wide wave of neon-green, energy with sparks of electric neon-green surging through the charging wave of plasma.

Ahhephokh's plasma wave, consumed the hellbeasts, utterly killing and banishing them back into the Warp.

Slightly bended legs, Ahhephokh, has once again destroyed his enemies, releasing his left claw on his staff, and the power on his Abyssal Staff, he looked around seeing his forces fighting a legion of damn warpspawns.

He was about to call fort more warriors to join him in battle, when his sensors, warn him a incoming danger to him, immediately he leaped to left, and dodge a shadowy claw, swipe, only his green cape and the sound of metal being scrapped, echoed between the two opponents.

Ahhephokh was facing a huge, shadow daemon, a Terrorfiend of Laharl, laughing wickedly and daemonically at the necron overlord, his greyish-violet glowing eye and jagged, sharp mouth, with his dark grey silhouette of the skeleton underneath the shadow of the Terrorfiend.

Ahhephokh spoke at the Greater Carnage Daemon, "Another, abomination from the Realm of Souls, dares to challenge me?" Terrorfiend still laughed, as it responded to the Overlord, "Surprise, one of you mortal creatures, actually facing death with some semblance of bravery. It almost a shame, there isn't a soul inside that metallic husk, for me to eat and torment." with its shadowy wings to spread wide, like a giant shadow daemon, roar and leap at Ahhephokh.

Ahhephokh, was angered by the Greater Daemon's insult and they prepare to battle, meanwhile in another engagement with the forces of blood.

Kratos was massacrering every necron on his path, slashing, stabbing, and exploding all his xeno victims, with his [Spear of Destiny], only to switch to his primary weapons, the [Blades of Chaos], as he spun and burn all his targets, with a fast combo of chain-slashes and leaping forward, with all his body completely bend back and with the hellfire ignited chains and blades.

With a great force, swinging his arms forward, with his blade having all the strength and momentum of Kratos' blades, slam against the white sand causing a great explosion of infernal fire.

Kratos' attack blasted and burned several spyders and a couple of lokhust destroyers, and around him were Bloodthirsters, Balrogs, and Oranggueras, all the Greater Daemons were destroying and slaughtering everything with the lord fifth elder daemon, their infernal flames of the bloodthirsters and balrogs, along with the sonic roars of the orangutan greater daemons, while the hellbeasts of blood were also causing massive amount of chaos in the battleground.

Slaughterbrutes crushed their prey, alongside with juggernauts, and the mounted brass beasts of daemonic riders, the Bloodcrushers slashing and ramming the necrons, and speaking of the necron warriors, if they manage to harm their legion the bleeding banshees would heal their kin, and they'll keep on fighting and killing.

Along with the Hallowed Blood Temples, making them twice of deadly, the blood valkyries, swoop down at the necrons from the skies, their daemonic axes and spears, cutting, cleaving, and crushing their prey in the names of the Gorequeen, Roman Mother, and the Princess of Vengeance.

Of all daemonic forces, currently on Cyrpheruss, the daemons of Khorne are causing the most damage and destruction to the necron army.

Which Ahhephokh was very aware of, as he dodge another shadow claw attack from the Terrorfiend that he was dueling against, the Terrorfiend mocked him all throughout their fight, and "complementing" Ahhephokh's bravery in the jaws of death and damnation.

Which only served to infuriate him more, as he gripped his Abyss Staff with both hands, and once again, activated the power within his weapon, bursting with sparks of neon-green energy, he swung his staff coated in green plasma, striking at the Terrorfiend.

The blast knocked away the Greater Daemon of Laharl, as the Necron Overlord started attacking from range, firing large blasts of neon-green plasma at the Terrorfiend, with properties like a shadow the Terrorfiend evaded several blasts that were more airborne, but those blasts to the ground hit the mark, and caused it large amounts of damage and forced it to revert into its common state.

With his systems firmly locked onto the Terrorfiend, bleeding what appears to be black, sluggish ooze for blood, the clear signs of aftermath of their duel, as both fighters resume.

Sometime later...

Location the Immaterium: The Neutral Zone of Chaos, the Mount Olympus-The Palace of the Dark Gods; The Council Chamber of Calamities

Back in the Immaterium, the Dark Gods were still watching the battle, as it was ongoing, having reach already two weeks with more daemons either being banished back to the Warp, or joining the battle on Cyrpheruss from the Anarkarr Stars.

It was a most enjoyable and exciting battle, with their daemons having a growing advantage in this battle of attrition, they commented and "complemented" in their own way their brother's daemons, especially their Elder Daemons.

Mordred's invincibility and destructive force, Gallon's leadership, cruelty and corrosive power of undeath, Thomin and Vilitch's teamwork, sorcery, combat skills, and overall manipulation of the battlefield, and lastly was Kratos, he was a unstoppable force of rage and massacre.

The only one that slightly unsurprised, by all that was happening and the powers of the four elder daemons on Cyrpheruss, was Laharl, himself, cause his vast knowledge and experience from his former life, as a human.

Then the Dark Gods, saw the leader of the necrons, actually managing to fight through all the damages that Laharl's Terrorfiend gave him, and deliver a lethal blow against his enemy.

Ahhephokh, thrusted his fully powered abyssal staff into the area where the Greater Daemon's "heart" would be, and fire a plasma blast destroying and killing the Terrorfiend, leaving a fading massive body with a hole in the heart-area.

Again the stubborn Necron Overlord, was proving to be a strong adversary for their daemons, but also a great prize, as Khorne craved his skull, Nurgle the remains, Tzeentch the staff, and Laharl to everyone's surprise craved some of the corpses and scraps of the necrons, even offering his younger brothers dominion over Cyrpheruss for this, they agreed and return to watching the war continue.

In truth what the Dark One, wanted access to the necrodermis and systems of the Necron, so he can gain divine dominion, over various aspects of the necrons, their literal representation/embodiment of the Void, forging and crafting secrets, and with that metal under his grasp, he can integrate the necrodermis into the Stingeon the Living Forge, under the Gobos' care and use, necrodermis mixed with daemonic materials, will greatly enhance all his daemons and structures in the Nethervoid.

Hence the Dark One's excitement and eagerness to claim the greatest prize that the necrons can provide...their technology, for he'll even be able to counteract if not control, all the necrons blackstone technology.

Location the Materium/Realspace: The Outer Rim of the Milky Way-North, Outside of Anarkarr Stars-Tombworld Cyrpheruss Surface-Necron vs. Daemons of Chaos

Returning to Cyrpheruss, the Soulless War was now at it's third week of none ending war and battle, which is not really surprising with the two armies in battle were basically immortal, with no need for actual resources like food, water, or sleep.

So them constantly fighting and killing each other was a given, with Ahhephokh no longer admist of dueling against a Carnage Greater Daemon, he could personally lead the counterstrike against the daemons, with the priority being both the khornate and tzeentchian forces, which were causing the most damage to Ahhephokh's forces, as the war continued.
