(General POV)
Location the Warhammer 40k World-The Materium/Realspace: The Outer Rim of the Milky Way-North, Outside of Anarkarr Stars-Tombworld Cyrpheruss Surface-Necron vs. Daemons of Chaos
The Soulless Wars, were reaching new levels of destruction and chaos, with the daemonic reinforcements from the Warp, along with the three Elder Hellbeasts, Nidhog, Karanak, and Skorpious, joining the battle.
It was clear that the tide has fully turned, in the favor of Chaos, with thousands of hellbeasts of blood, carnage, and plague were tearing through the army of the necrons, not only that but their Overlord, Ahhephokh was currently in the middle of his greatest duel ever.
Ahhephokh was facing the Daemon of Sparta, himself Kratos in mortal combat, Kratos standing proud and menacing in his true daemon form, with his [Leviathan Axe] in hand.
It was clear that after a two month long, nonstop war, that the final moments of the Soulless Wars, were upon them all.
Kratos started the duel, by swinging his daemonic, runic axe in a crossing horizontal slash, which Ahhephokh quickly responded by taking a backstep, and leaving the range of danger.
For all his internal systems, were blaring and screaming at him of the dangers that his opponent's weapon present to him, as his scanners picked up unknown, powerful and energy emanating from that weapon.
Along with near absolute zero temperatures, which didn't make any sence to Ahhephokh or his systems, a primitive weapon, such as a axe, should not be able, let alone handle the stress of such extremely low-temperatures.
But his optics and instinct weren't lying, his enemy wielded a weapon that can easily, destroy him in one stroke of it's blade.
That's when Kratos struck again, following his initial attack with a forward spinning slash, to the Necron Overlord, but Ahhephokh dodge the incoming attack, by docking under it.
But his cape wasn't as fortunate, the Leviathan Axe's grace was enough to freeze and break the cape, making it more like a damaged rag, around the neck of the Overlord, as Ahhephokh finally struck back.
In his crouched position, he'd swung his plasma pulsing staff, at the right ribs of the powerful daemon in front of him, only for Kratos to counter, lowering himself enough for the Abyssal Staff to his, Golden Fleece and absorb the blow and plasma of Ahhephokh's attack.
With a sounding clack and surge of energy, Ahhephokh was pushed back, slightly skipping on the white sands, as his optics refocus on Kratos, or more importantly his glowing should paldron.
Again this enemy, managed to counter his attack, never has he experienced such a enemy, then all the gathered energy from his previous attack, was blasted back at him.
The plasma energy was stronger than his original blow, Ahhephokh scanners warned him that he couldn't handle the blast, so he leap to the side to avoid the counter-blast, and quickly responded with a neon-green plasma blast to Kratos' supposed blindside.
Kratos unused to this size, was hit, grunting in discomfort from the plasma blast, using that opportunity to strike at his enemy, Ahhephokh started to hit Kratos with several plasma-swings from his staff.
While the two started their duel, back in the main battleground of Cyrpheruss.
The necrons were being, utterly dominated by the daemons Mordred, Gallon, and Vilitch were in the midst of brutal battle, cutting down and destroying all the necron and canoptek in their sight, while the necrons couldn't fight back properly.
Their strongest units the lokhust destroyers, falling on a rapid pace, and doomstalkers either struck by Mordred's heavy bolter rounds, or magical assaults of various daemons.
And the reason the necrons are in such a disorganized state, was the mental wave of Ahhephokh's disarray and stress in combat, with their neural systems going haywire, and ordering them all to assist their master and leader.
Because of this they were in complete disorganization, the necron warriors couldn't focus on a single target to attack, leaving them open to attacks from bloodletters, flesh hounds, juggernauts, wrathful cerberuses, and other blood daemons, striking at them in full aggressive force.
Then plaguebearers, repulsive khaos, mukwalkers, and even some rotten were crushing, infecting, and rusting them away like withering force of death, and then laharlish daemons were fighting along the plague and blood legions, respectfully.
Carnage daemons, such as knightmares, succubi, void wraiths, observers, and more were blasting, slashing, stabbing, and casting daemonic spells alongside the change daemons.
Speaking of the tzeentchian forces, the horrors were cackling and both launching pink fireballs or adding the casting from their higher ranked daemons like the changecasters, fluxmasters, and fateskimmers, while sphiranxes were also providing aid to their Lords of Change and Malachis blasting massive spells onto the necrons, sentinels, spyders, and scarabs were torn apart by the relentless and combined assault of the four daemonic legions.
Back to the duel between Ahhephokh and Kratos, as Ahhephokh continues his assault on the Daemon of Sparta, Kratos countered his attack, by hooking his axe onto his staff, and then hitting the necron with a powerful shoulder tackle.
Kratos didn't stop, as his opponent was stunned by his strike, Kratos, he followed it up with a strong Spartan Kick, straight into the chestplate of Ahhephokh, causing him to be blasted away, skipping sometimes hard against the desert sand.
So the Necron Overlord, he struggled to stand and once again reboot his shaken systems, so he called some Doomstalkers to provide him some needed aid, against Kratos.
But this let Ahhephokh wide open for another attack, as Kratos swung a rising cross slash across his necrodermis, this cause great damage as it chopped through the chestplate, and cause frost around the wound.
Ahhephokh struck back, hitting Kratos on the side of the face, making him groan angrily, as Kratos, start to cut and chop away at Ahhephokh.
Every blow causing unimaginable damage onto his necrodermis, and it was not repairing as it should, but out of good fortune, a couple of doomstalkers, managed to reach them and fire plasma beams at Kratos, who easily blocked the attack with his daemonic empowered [Guardian Shield], pushing against Kratos' strength, locking him in place and leaving him wide-open to Ahhephokh.
Ahhephokh stalked his opponent, and when he was about to strike only for Kratos, sense his enemy's cowardly approach, so in response he used his technique, called (Njord's Tempest) as his Leviathan Axe, started to rapidly spin around him emanating the force of frost, that attack did damage the right joint of the elbow area of Ahhephokh's arm.
As Ahhephokh groan and rage, he took his staff and pointed at Kratos, ready to blast Kratos with more plasma blasts.
But then Karanak craving a worthy prey, pounced at a doomstalker, one head bit the walker's leg, and the other two heads bit onto the top half the walker, those sharp fangs, tearing deeply into canoptek.
Karanak's size, weight, and strength, knock down the walker, as Elder Hellbeast, kept ripping into the doomstalker, the others turn to attack the Apex Hunter of Khorne, but then a couple blasts were struck against another doomstalker.
Mordred flew at the three remaining doomstalkers, with his heavy bolter mounted claw, stretched out and firing at them.
The one that was shot three times by the Ultimate Slaughterer, as another bolter round, struck the main optic of the doomstalker, causing a huge explosion, as another doomstalker was taken down.
While still flying towards the enemy target, with one taken down, he flipped Slaughterbane like a spear, and in a powerful throw, he launched the massive sword like spear, impaling another doomstalker, cleaving and piercing the walker, causing it to explode and tumble, until it fell dead onto the sand.
Mordred smashed the remnants of the impaled doomstalker, he landed hard onto the downed walker, pulling out his blade, he turned his head seeing Karanak take down the remaining necron walker.
Karanak unleashed three streams of a hellish inferno, onto the remaining walker, burning the doomstalker into burned junk.
With that four doomstalkers were destroyed, by two different Elder Daemons, Ahhephokh was intimidated and held his weapon, as he believed that he was now facing three massive and unbelievably powerful daemon, but then Kratos spoke, "Stop!!! This one is mine to fight, and kill!!!!" Mordred and Karanak heard Kratos command, and Mordred flipped his blade and took flight, while Karanak growled, at Ahhephokh before he left back to main "hunting grounds", leaving Ahhephokh and Kratos to continue their duel.
Kratos looked as his opponent as a red, blazing aura coated his body, for Kratos' fury was overflowing like a wild, out of control, wildfire!!
Kratos, held his [Leviathan Axe] tightly, and his [Guardian Shield] at the ready, while Ahhephokh held his Abyssal Staff, tightly in his metallic claws, as both combatants were at the ready to continue their duel.
Ahhephokh struck first in this engagement, going for a heavy, downward swing at Kratos, his staff flowing with intense neon-green sparks and plasma energy, Kratos blocked the attack with his shield, causing a large blast of bright, neon-green currents from hitting against the [Guardian Shield] of Kratos.
Next Kratos, swung his axe, hooking the left leg of the Necron Overlord, pulling back the hooked leg and tripping him, immediately mounting Ahhephokh, placing his [Leviathan Axe] at the neck of Ahhephokh, to keep him down.
Kratos started smashing the edge of his shield, onto the face and skull of Ahhephokh, hitting him over, over, and over again.
Ahhephokh felt his neural systems, going haywire along with his optics, as every blow caused him to see only static and pure darkness, after every blow.
He knew he'll die if he doesn't find a way to fight back, it will be all over for him.
So Ahhephokh decided to do something, extremely risky and double-edged for him, and quite possibly the only choice to escape this deadly beatdown, that he is suffering at the moment.
That option was to charge the plasma energy on his staff, to fire a plasma at the ground, beside both of them, and he did so, firing his plasma-energy onto the sandy ground, causing a huge burst of sparking, transparent neon-green energy, hitting and burning both of them, in great force.
Both of them were launched into the air, in two various direction, while Kratos was able to recover in the air and used his fused, and daemonic [Wings of Icarus], he flapped them and managed to cushion his fall.
Meanwhile, Ahhephokh crashed against the desert landscape, as he slowly was recovering from the blow, with his burning marks on the sides of his body, his systems alerting him that his body has sustained 43% of damage, and has 61% of body was still functional for him.
Turning to face his enemy again, Kratos stood tall and menacing without any clear signs of damage or pain on his daemonic form, Kratos retracted his [Guardian Shield] and put away his [Leviathan Axe], as he replaced his weapon with his [Nemean Cestus], smashing the golden spikes and lion-headed ends of these gauntlets together, causing a small spark and a loud clank sound to emanate from the action.
Kratos roared at his opponent, and charged, Ahhephokh responded by blasting more plasma at Kratos, which Kratos easily smashed against with his Cestus, the small explosion causing no damage against the Daemon of Sparta, as he kept on charging at the Necron Overlord.
Ahhephokh kept on firing at Kratos, with absolutely no affect against him, as he closed the gap between them.
Kratos finally reached Ahhephokh and swung his left gauntlet first, at the face of Ahhephokh, his left Cestus hitting the right side of his face, causing serious damage and even busting, and denting right eye, leaving it inoperable.
Then Kratos struck with his right Cestus, striking at the left rib area of Ahhephokh form, denting innards on the blow, and if necron still had blood not only from the wound, but also his mouth would be spitting out large amounts of it, as Kratos finished his combo with a straight left strike, at the chestplate of Ahhephokh's body.
As the blow sunk into the shape of the Cestus, and lunging Ahhephokh away, soaring some distance from Kratos, the alarm systems in his cerebral mainframe, were blaring and warning him that damage was now 76% and his body's operation capabilities have dropped to 40%.
It was clear that this is a enemy that he couldn't defeat, even if was shameful, Ahhephokh was thinking of fleeing and sounding a fullout retreat, his mission to awaken the rest of the necrons, was more important than his wounded pride.
He tried to sent a message to the rest of his still operational necrons to flee, but a neural warning that he has lost all control over the rest of his dynasty, the strike he'd suffered to the head, must have caused more damage, than originally speculate.
But then he felt something hit and weigh onto his pauldron, as his only operating optic saw the lion-heads of his opponent's gauntlet were attached to him, linked to some thick chains to Kratos gauntlets.
Before he could retaliate, Kratos janked his arms to the ground, which in turn the linked Ahhephokh was janked hard against the ground, then Kratos started to pull and spin himself.
As Ahhephokh was dragged, pulled, and spun by Kratos, smashing in a couple of sand dunes, and the dragging and spinning prevent him from acting against the Daemon of Sparta.
After many more spins, Kratos started to lift his arms and in turn lift-up Ahhephokh, as he spun more and then stopped mid-spin, and in a one powerful overhead swing, lifted Ahhephokh high onto the air and then by the linked chains he was smashed onto the ground with ultimate force.
Causing great amounts of damage to the spine and the back of the head of Ahhephokh from the impact, with a flick of his wrists the Cestus' lion-heads released Ahhephokh and retracted back to the rest of the gauntlets.
Looking at the extremely beaten Ahhephokh, who was showing damage everywhere of his form, Kratos scuffed at him, at least he could respect the tenacity, and warrior spirit of the Necron, believing his skull shall make a mighty and worthy offering to Khorne.
They were again standing in front of one another, as the Dark Gods applaud and laughed at this glory battle, Khorne, Valkia, and Bellona were more than pleased by Kratos actions, a worthy fight and soon to be kill in their name.
Ahhephokh very banged up, and sparks flew from the beaten and almost completely broken, as his singular eye, glared at Kratos.
Kratos spoke to the Necron Overlord, "You were a worthy warrior. Now I'll shall, claim your skull for Khorne!!" Ahhephokh still glaring, responded in a glitching, metallic voice, "I.I...I am, immortal... I or any necron... will.Will...will...wi..ll. never fear...or taste the, the, the...the grasp of Death, again. Daemon." once again they clashed.
They striked at each other again, and again, as brutal force struck necrodermis, and plasma coated metal, struck and burn the daemonic flesh of each other.
Blow after blow, blast after blast, and much more they focused on destroying the other before their opponent could do the same to him.
But this is the Daemon of Sparta, a Godslayer, Titanslayer, Pantheonslayer, heck a multiple Worldslayer as well.
After a few moments, Kratos own rage would heal the meager wounds that Ahhephokh has caused him, and also make his blows that much stronger, as every strike that Kratos connected to Ahhephokh, caused unimaginable damage both internally and externally, Ahhephokh systems were recommending him to flee, but he ignored and kept fighting.
Kratos hit Ahhephokh in the gut area, denting the spot and cause some sparks busting from the damaged area, even causing a system crash and small explosion off the sides of Ahhephokh.
Forced down to his knee, as he trying to active the internal repair protocol, but Kratos didn't relent and Kratos struck Ahhephokh with a side kick to the head, knocking down the Necron Overlord into the sand.
Once again Kratos, pinned Ahhephokh down with his foot to the necron's throat part, and started to pummel the chestplate of Ahhephokh repeatedly.
The Dark One, watching the brutality from the Warp, was reminded of the iconic kill sequence of Kratos against Hercules, ironically he was using those same weapons on Ahhephokh, but since he wanted the skull of his opponent, along with Khorne also wanting it as well, he focused his assault on the body instead of the face, like the late Hercules.
Each heavy blow, dug them both deeper into the sand, as the impacts made them sink and push away all the sand away.
After another blow, Ahhephokh's chestplate was scrap, utter broken metal, with sparks flying everywhere and some smoke and fires over the destroyed area as well, Kratos looked at the face of the necron, still alive...if barely, as he spoke his final glitched words, "For...for, for, for... For the glory...glory of. The empire, and...the, the, the Silent King." banishing away his [Nemean Cestus] gauntlets, and replaced with [Leviathan Axe] again.
He chop down his runic axe, and cut off the arm that still held his weapon, then chopping and hooking onto the lower body of the Necron Overlord, he lifted his barely responsive body over his head, and as it quickly froze, he smashed Ahhephokh onto the ground.
Thus shattering all the frozen parts of the necron, and then one last swing beheading Ahhephokh, and finally killing him, as the head rolled down onto the sand, and the remaining of the torso, froze.
Kratos walked over to the head of Ahhephokh, and pick it up the necron head, without any energy and shut off optic, Kratos lifted the head and yelled out in victory, another "skull" for the Lord of Skull and his throne, and saying the praise to his Dark God, "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!! SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONES!!!!"
