　　Of course, I believed that I would win and free the human race. Even if I developed feelings for General Colton, I would have to either suppress it or find a way to be with him after I become Queen and free the human race.


　　King Vlad stopped walking and turned to me with a concerned and pained look on his face. I also stopped and watched as he asked me, "Do you have feelings for him, Jannah?"


　　I shook my head as he studied my face, "No, I only just met him and I know that I cannot develop feelings for him when I am trying to be your Queen."


　　He let out a relieved sigh as he nodded and continued walking. I continued walking alongside him as he replied, "Good, because I am very serious about you, Jannah. Not just because of the selection or my need to have a Queen and mate."
