Jannah's Choice

　　Lydia grinned and I wasn't sure if it was real or fake this time. "I understand, you're such a good friend and I'm lucky to have you."


　　"Thanks, Lydia, and so are you." Or so I hoped her to be.


　　I turned to Lenna's door and knocked while Lydia watched me with a look of awareness in her eyes like she wanted to know my every move. The door opened after a few seconds and Lenna stood in the doorway.


　　"Come on in, you two!" She grinned when she saw us and moved aside for us to walk inside.


　　"Sure." I replied while Lydia stayed quiet.


　　After we walked in, Lenna closed the door and turned to me with an excited smile, "Jannah! How was your date with the King? Did he say that he was choosing you?"


CHAPTER Fourteen - Lydia's Envy
