Suppression

Zack grasped Ken as he was about to fall.

"What should I do, I should take him to a hospital but I don't know about the nearby places," Zack tried to think of a possible solution.

After a moment of quick thought, he began to run towards the forest of cessation.

"His aura always felt extraordinary, like he has powers even greater than mine" Zack ran as fast as he possibly could.

"But it wasn't like he couldn't use them, I knew it, I forever knew that unlike aunt Sophia he can manipulate aura and elements...I should hurry, it'll be better to think about all of this later" Zack rushed to save Ken.

It took about half an hour for him to reach home.

He threw open the door and the sound of it slamming could be heard all over the place.

"Mom, Aunt come here quick it's an emergency" he yelled.

Suzan and Sophia rushed to the entrance.

"Mom, he needs immediate treatment" Zack stepped towards the sofa and put Ken on it.

"Yeah, I can see that" Suzan began to heal him "he has a sudden decrease in blood pressure and it's alarming, I'm giving him life force via Aura healing, but more than that he immediately needs a drip...Sophia!"

"Yes, I'm on it, bring him to the infirmary" Sophia hurried to the infirmary.

Suzan carried Ken and laid him down in the infirmary bed.

"He'll wake up soon" Sophia prepared the drip and injected it.

"Now then, mind explaining to me what's all this is about and what the hell is wrong with your Aura!!" Suzan inquired.

"Come with me, I'll explain... although there are a lot of things I need an explanation for myself," Zack said while he began to walk towards the entrance where he left Ken's bag.

He lifted the bag and brought out the water bottle. He gave the bottle to his mom and said "I drank this...after that, I'm unable to manipulate my aura".

"Alright, I'll give it to Sophia to find out what exactly is this drink" Suzan went to the infirmary and gave the bottle to Sophia for examination.

Zack followed her.

"About your friend, you told me Ken was an ordinary boy but his aura it's not ordinary at all, I think he's from one of the three chosen clans but..." Suzan was astonished.

"but his aura is like it's bound with chains..." Zack illustrated..." and your condition is the same right now, " Suzan broke in.

"Yes, that's why I wanted him to explain all this, and he just asked me if I drank that water... I said yes I did, and then he fell unconscious" Zack explained the situation.

"I see it must be some drink to suppress his powers, but the question is why is he drinking this kind of drink" Suzan showed concern.

" I always suspected him that he was hiding his true identity I asked him several times but he never told me the truth I want to ask him why he kept it a secret like that he could have told me at least I am his best buddy " Zack complained.

"Wrong kiddo, it's not good to question your friendship so easily, if a friend keeps something hidden from you, that doesn't always mean that he mistrusts or doesn't see you as a friend, everyone has their justifications and only they know it so it's not good for us to complain without hearing their side of the story, got it?" Suzan patted his shoulder.

" you are right mom I should hear him, before judging him plus I have also kept some things hidden from him as they were necessary to be undisclosed and I will not like it either if he doubts my friendship for this reason " Zack realized that he was worrying for no good reason but he still wanted to hear what the truth is.

" you can ask him everything when he wakes up and he will wake up soon so don't worry, in normal cases if someone falls unconscious, their aura reserves decrease very low so I gave him life energy but to my surprise, he had barely lost any life energy, " Suzan elaborated.

" All he needed was a pack of electrolytes, he had a sudden fall in blood pressure due to a nervous breakdown " Sophia came out of the infirmary.

" It's nice that you studied medicine for 5 years, you've become a lot more useful than before " Suzan complimented Sophia.

"Sister was it a compliment or mockery, thanks anyway but it wasn't easy to live without you and Zack for 5 whole years" Sophia responded.

"Yeah, no pain no gain dear, and it's been 3 years since you came back so forget about it already" Suzan began to walk toward the infirmary, and Sophia and Zack followed.

"Easy for you to say you have a heart made of stone " Sophia mocked.

"Guys I don't think it's the matter to be discussed right now" Zack interrupted.

"Exactly what I'm trying to tell her," both Suzan and Sophia said at the same time.

"Ah man, where am I stuck, anyway, Aunt about that drink, have you checked it yet?" Zack asked.

"Yes, it has the ingredients that can block the junctures of your Aura that immobilize it, and after drinking this you'll be unable to manipulate your or anyone else's Aura and elements too," Sophia explained.

"How long it will take its effects to wear off?" Suzan asked.

"Well, I think the effects are pretty much permanent," Sophia deduced.

"What are you saying" Zack's face turned pale.

"Is it curable, I mean can its effects be reversed somehow?" Suzan asked worriedly.

"There's a reversal to everything, there must be an antidote to it" Sophia claimed.

"That's a relief, but you'll have to find that reversal...it might take some time and we do not have that" Suzan pondered.

"Ken might help us with it once he wakes up...he can give us some lead at least I am sure of it" Zack looked at Ken.

"Yeah you're right" Suzan affirmed.

"Wait a minute, who drank it, again?" Sophia asked unknowingly.

"What the...don't you know!?" Suzan and Zack said together.

"Of course not, that's the reason for me asking in the first place" Sophia answered innocently.

"Zack drank it," Suzan replied.

"oh okay Zack, ....wait a minute what, what you just said...Zack" Sophia barely pulled herself together.

"My goodness, what have you done" she showed concern.

"Worrying will not change the outcome, let us think of a possible solution and pray for the boy to wake up soon" Suzan recommended.

After a moment of silence

"Aah, where am I?"

Ken finally spoke.
