Chapter 4

I was sitting at a tree by the Mikaelson mansion reading in a book, it had been awhile since the night at the high school so I'm gonna give you a little sum up

So Nik left to create more hybrids, using Elena's blood for it. Elena then daggered Bekah in the back which was so rude btw. Mikael came to town and tried to kill Nik on freaking prom night which was rude but not as rude as daggering Bekah in the back, Nik killed him with a little help from Stefan who saved  him from being daggered by Damon and his white oak stake. Me and Apollo caught up, and that's about it. I also live at Klaus's house now whilst Apollo lives at Stefan's house but I'm trying to get him to move here too or that we move to a new house or out of town. It will never happen though.

Right I get dragged out of my reading when I hear fighting and banging inside so I get up and walk into the house. I see Klaus and a guy in a suit and I must say he is quite handsome like wow but I ain't gonna make that mistake again " Can you two be quiet I am trying to read" I say being annoyed. They both looked at me Klaus annoyed and the suit dude confused " I thought you got 'dragged' into the book" Klaus says and I look at him " I do, but how can I read when I have you two, making noise in the background. Tell me that, Klaus" I say being annoyed

" Who are you?" The suit dude asks and I take my eyes off of Klaus and moves them to the suit guy " I'm Amali" I say with a smile " Elijah" he says unsure which doesn't make much sense but I guess it is because he isn't used to seeing Klaus like this and have friends and definitely not with a girl.

" Now can you be quiet" I say walking towards the chair that I claimed as mine instead of going back outside. They looked at each other and continued their day. Klaus tells Elijah about everything about his mother and stuff that had happened whilst he had been daggered.

It had been a while since i met Elijah and at the moment I am sitting at a table with people I NEVER expected to be at, this table had Klaus, Elijah, Damon, Stefan, Apollo and myself which is a combo no one ever would expected sitting at a table. Things were happening and it was interesting.

At the moment Klaus was holding Stefan's hand into the fire place and me and Apollo ware watching whilst Damon was walking out to collect Nik's coffin whilst Elijah followed. Things really reminded me of a chapter I read in a book once, it was this amazing book where there are two boys fighting for this one girl and they get into a huge fight (the two boys) and one of them ends up dying from fire and the other ends up getting the girl.

When I get out of my thoughts I see Klaus's horrid face " Kol " he says and I turn and see a VERY handsome guy like WOW but I can't think like that not making that kind of mistake again. Then another guy comes in he is not as handsome but he okay. Then my girl comes in miss Rebekah walkes in like a bad bitch. I mean HOOOTTTT. I start to smile when I see her as I now know what it's like living with her brothers and how annoying they get.

I have lived with my brothers but they were not that annoying nor did they really fight. They had arguments but never with me nor did it become incredibly serious. They were the sweetest brothers you could get always protecting and kind to you. I loved them more then anything which I still do.

I pull myself out of my thoughts and watch what is going on Bekah stabs Klaus "This is for our mother" she says very badass and hands him to the not very handsome dude he stabs him then he hands him over to the guy I know as Kol. Bekah walks over to me and Apollo and smiles " That was hot" i whisper to her and she blushes which I smile at.

They then continue to talk and stuff saying their going to leave him and that he is going to be alone. I don't even get it like if you have a family cherish it don't leave them all alone. Like i would never leave Apollo forever nor I am I going to. I would also never leave Klaus because over the past few months we have gotten close not only because of the night we spent together but because of the summer and the fact that I live with him now so.

I would never leave him. So he is not gonna be alone they might think so but he isn't going to be alone. Then we all hear a door open and look toward the entrance and see a woman that I do not recognize. "Mother" Bekah whisper speaks and I look at the unknown woman and just shock.

Their mother was just being very suspicious and not exactly believable for me anyhow for the Mikaelson's this shit was totally believable. Stupid.

My brother had left saying he was going to talk to the Salvatore's and rest, which was like okay I get it I mean I don't really want to be here either. I wanted to go sit in my chair reading good book and relaxing.

I get tired of it so I simply walk out of the room looking at Kol whilst walking out because he looked at me. I find my book and sit down in my chair and start reading. I get immediately dragged into the book completely ignoring the calls I am getting from the Mikaelson's .

~KLAUS'S POV~

" Mal" Rebekah says to the girl completely in a trance of the book she is reading. I had seen her like this before but never this 'gone'. My brothers started asking a bunch of questions .

" So Nik who is this girl?" Kol asks looking at her small form " This is Amali, she is a friend of mine" i say simply " What is she?" Elijah asks " I do not know the whole thing brother but I do know she is a vampire and that she is very special" i say first thinking of it I have never asked her what more she is nor have I taken notice to it.

When I first met her i thought she was weak but then she overpowered me very easily so she has to be something strong

~KOL'S POV~

She was young, beautiful and strong minded she had this power about her that made me feel drawn to her to in a way I have never felt this about anyone. I havent even talked to the girl but she is captivating, her beauty, her mind everything about her was captivating.

When she read she look at peace and calm. Like every time she picked up a book everything just disappeared for her like she was whole. She was the most captivating girl I have ever met and she just looks so beautiful sitting in that chair with her nose in her book.

"MAL" my sister yells and we both get broken out of our trance " What," she asks and her voice is absolutely angelic " Stefan was right you really do need to stop reading these books, you go into some sort of trance" she says, " I do not" she says closing her book and laying it on the table in front of her.

"Well that doesn't matter, we are hosting a ball tomorrow and you have to be there and can you ask your brother something" Bekah says unsurly in the last part "So you like my brother" she says smirking. Bekah she is shock when she hears it " I do not I just don't have a date and you know I want to get to know him better. That does not mean I like him" she says very defensively.

Amali continues smirking " And here I thought you were capable of asking a boy out by your self" she states "I am" my sister says " Great, I will call him over" she says standing up but Bekah stops her from walking any farther " What no, no you won't" she says " Yes I will." She pulls out a phone. She presses some buttons and brings the phone to her ear.

" Hello" a guy on the other end says " Hey, could you come over like right now" she says " Why, what happened? Did someone hurt you? Was it Klaus? Cause I swear to god if it-" he rambles " Of course not, Nik would never hurt me" she says looking at Nik and winking which he gladly returns with a devilish smile. Something definitely happened between the two.

" Was it any of his siblings?" he asks sounding very worried "No just come over it's an emergency" she says sounding even more worried then him. He then hangs up and she smiles deviantly then walks over to Bekah and Nik and sits between them. " There now all you have to do is ask him out" she says smiling

" I'm not gonna ask out you brother" Bekah says " Uhhh, yes you are. He needs someone and that someone could be you. I mean it would be great for two powerful family's to become one don't you think" she says and stands up walking outside.

We sit there confused not knowing what she ment by it but It was certainly something. I follow the girl outside to she her dancing ballet which surprises me as I did not think of her as a dancing type. But watching her being so graceful and prestigious made something stir inside me.

I have never had these feelings before, feelings that made me feel....... human.

I watch her for a while until i see her starting to stop i walk back inside of the house and into the living room where my siblings are. They are having a conversation about something that i dont get. Amali then walks into the room and her brother looks at her.

~AMALI'S POV~

I walk into the room and see all of them sitting in a deep conversation about something which Kol dosent seem to get either. My brother look at me and smiles " Hey Ami" he says and i look at him as well " Hi Api" i say smirking " Why did you call me over?" he asks and i look straight to Rebekah with the 'Are you serious' look and she just looks at me and smiles " Bekah wanted to ask you something" i say as i sit down next to her and crash my hand on her thigh and she looks at me clearly not liking where this is going but i dont care.

" Okay, what did you wanna ask me?" he asks looking at her and i squeeze her thigh a little harder and she falters a little with her words " I....uhm.... wanted to...." she stops and i squeeze harder and i know this is mean but she needs to have the courage so i do what i think is best and that is being a great friend and getting her to ask my brother on a date or rather as her date for their ball but its still kinda a date.

" Iwantedtoaskyoutobemydatetotheball" she says in one breath and fast but surprisingly enough my brother got it all and started smiling. Bekah then moved my hand away from her thigh and looked at me with a pissed look. But before the girl could do anything my brother spoke up " I would love to" he told her and she looked at him shocked whilst i just moved over to Nik and we started talking and i could tell non of the boys liked that my brother and Bekah was going to the ball together and the thought of her spending time with him angered them so therefore i did the only thing i could think of and i stood up, grabbed his hand and walked out and into my bedroom.

"What?" He asks me as I close the door and walk over to my bed. " Oh, nothing" I say laying down he lays down next to me and looks up as well " Then why did you take me out of the room?" He asks turning his head towards me " Well the boys were getting quite pissed that you and Bekah talked together so I didn't want anything to happen to you" I say looking back at him. He smiles at me " You know that we're Ashford's right?" He says, " Yes, Yes I do" I say turning my head back.

" That means we're stronger, you know that right?" he says as he gives me his award winning smile which is so annoying that he has btw like why. I want that to but i didn't get one which i'm not happy about but it's okay i like my smile just how it is so no worries. "I know it means we're stronger but we're not stronger then the originals, Dumbo" i told him. Dumbo was a nickname i gave him when we we're younger, because he had such big ears that he eventually grew into luckily for him. I stopped using it however after Ares but i guess it has made it's comeback now which he was not happy about.

He stood up quickly after hearing the name and at that moment i knew i was most likely not gonna like the aftermath of this. I stood up as well and he looked at me with a pissed sly look, i then opened the door and ran out, i know he usually gives me a 2 min head start but not more nor less. Both Ares and Apollo gave me a 2 min head start because i was little. I hurried down stairs and into the living room that the Mikaelson's all were in.

I made a quick entrance and they all looked at me with a worried look, i just ran over to Nik and Kol and hid behind both of them clearly out of breath after doing freaking hedge jumping on the staircase and the railings which i'm gonna tell you is not as fun as it looks like okay it is terrifying and i literally thought i was going to die or trip and bash my head open.

They both looked at me like i was crazy cause they clearly heard me jumping about. I just hush them because i hear mister. Ashford coming down the stairs very happy and sly, he then walks into the living room and sees them all stood up so he knew i has there " Princess" he says very slyly and simple which terrifies me but i just start thinking what kind of spell i can do for him not to catch me cause that is terrefying.

I get to thinking and i know i could do an invisible spell but that wont help as he knows where i am cause those kind of spells dont work on him which sucks for my part. There is absolutely no spell he wont know, like he knows me to well and he just knows what to expect from me and he predicts everything i do which pisses me off.

Nik starts poking me, telling me to go out there but i dont want to but they both start moving revealing me so i bolt away from the scene knowing if he catches me things go horribly wrong for my part. I hear them talking and that he then runs after me, but i dont hear anymore as i run out of the house and outside. I then get tackled to the ground and pinned down.

I groan and he chuckles a little bit which makes me even more upset.

⁓REBEKAH'S POV⁓

Me and my brothers walk out following the two siblings that are quarreling outside. Apollo had told us that she did something and i'm guessing he didn't like it so now they are having a quarrel but i dont think they have the same fights me and my family have, they probably have something more wholesome then us.

We see Apollo on top of Mali holding her down by her arms as she looks not happy at all. She is trying to get out of his hold but with no luck "Ami, this was your doing so therefore you have to face the consequences" he tells her and at this moment we have no idea what is going to happen until he starts tickling her. We dont really get why she is so scared of it until we hear her squeal and yell "STOOOP" she yells in between laughs and i see how much she hates being tickled.

She absolutely hates it, probably more then Nik hates being betrayed and how much me, Elijah, Finn  and Kol hates being daggered. Except for the fact that she dosent lay in a coffin for years and years on end, which she is lucky about. We are all just watching until it looks like she had enough so she just bursts and Apollo fly back and we feel a gash of wind come hard on us.

Apollo stands up and looks at his sister blamingly and she just smiles innocently rising up from her spot on the ground. She then walks over to Apollo "I'm sorry" she tells him and i can now she she cant be mad for a long time or at least not at her brother. He smiles at her and throws his arm around her and they walk towards us. We just stand there not really knowing what we just witnessed but when they reach us Nik grabs Mali's hand and drags her inside, the rest of us look at eachother and i see Kol looking a little pissed but i shrug it of considering they dont know eachother at all.

Of course i know what happened between Mali and Nik seeing as she told me but i didn't know they still had something. I walk back in following them as well does the boys behind me we end up outside of Nik's study and we hear them talking.

⁓AMALI'S POV⁓

" Why did you bring me here Nik?" i ask the guy " I brought you here because i want to know what you are" he tells me and i look at him weirdly as i thought he already knew cause i remember telling him i am an Ashford but maybe i didn't. "I'm an Ashford obviously" i tell him walking over to his alcohol cabinet "Angel, i know that " he asks looking at my every move "So i did tell you. I knew it right but then what do you wanna know if you already know?" i asks him looking for wine but ofcourse just as the Salvatores NOBODY HAS WINE. Like what is that about, do people not drink wine any longer like i used to drink it all the time back in the dat, ofcourse only when i was of age but you get what i mean.

"What other-" he starts but i cut him off "Do you seriously not own wine?" i ask him and he looks displeased " Right sorry." i tell him and he looks like he was unanswered which he was then the others walk into the study as well " Wait your an Ashford?" Elijah asks.

Apollo walks over to me with a smirk on his face, i smirk back at him. "Obviously" i tell them they all look shocked and i smirk at them all. There is something familiar by Kol but i dont know what and i cant recall it so im thinking i will have to contact a friend of mine to tell me. "Well, what else are you?" Kol asks "Oh, you know a little bit of witch, little bit of vampire and a couple other things  that shouldn't be brought up" i tell them.

"And why shouldn't it be brought up?" Elijah asks me and this time before i can answer Apollo answers for me" Because it can be used against her and that's not good, considering she can kill with them and people can use em to kill others and we dont want that now do we" he tells them as i recall a moment in my life that i didn't enjoy but it is matters for another time so i wont get into it.

"Right" Nik says very unsure. Apollo then turns his attention towards me " Anyways little sister, i have to leave its getting late and you should also rest considering of the ball tomorrow right?" he says and i nod he hugs me tight "Good night little sister. I love you" he tells me and i mumble it back " I love you too" he then walks out of the room and continue out the house. I turn to the family infront of me and tell them good night and walk out.

I was on my way to my bedroom but get stopped by Elijah. " Amali" he yells from behind me and i stop mid stair and turn around " Yes i say " What exactly are you that you cant tell?" he asks me and i look at him suspiciously " I promise i wont tell i just want to know so i can protect you" he tells me and i can see the genuin in his eyes and i feel his honesty so therefore i chose to tell him. " Tomorrow in the garden" i tell him and walk away from him but get once again stopped but not by Elijah but by Esther which i do not feel happy about.

"Ah, Amali just the girl i was looking for" she says with a very fake cheery voice " Why were you looking for me?" I Ask her bring very confused and i can also hear Elijah downstairs so he is clearly listening in which is good for my sake " Well I wanted to talk to you but I see that your tired so maybe tomorrow so if you could come into my room at the ball that would be great" she says and I'm very confused as why would she have it in the middle of the ball

" Sure but why at the ball and not before or after" I ask her and she just tells me it will be easier seeing as before there is a lot of prepping and after everyone is tired and there is cleaning after so I guess I get it. She then walks away and Elijah walks up " After you talk to my mother, can you tell me what she said?" He asks I just nod " So we're plotting against mother are we?" we hear a voice say and I recognize it as Kol. I nod and Elijah asks if he wants to join and he says yes, which I don't get seeing as they didn't have anything against her i mean Elijah just didn't trust her which I totally agree on.

Eli walks away and it's just me and Kol left. He walks over to me " So I was going up here to see if you maybe wanted to be my date for tomorrow?" He asks with an unsure smirk which is absolutely adorable, I smile at him " Of course, I would love too" i tell him and his smirk gets more confident and eventually grows into a smile which was also adorable. I walk away from him and into my room, I smile to myself but then it think of him in a different way that I have also tried to figure out since I felt him for the first time.

I sit down on my floor with a book in front of me. And I start chanting a spell that I learned when I was younger. " Amali?" I hear someone say and I open my eyes and look in front of me just to see my dearest sister. Who died in 1301 before my brother also caused by my father " Adelphe?" I ask back and she smiles " How did you do this?" She asks and i just point at the book and she nods " So you need help with a boy, huh?" She smirks and i just roll my eyes

" There is something about him that I recognize but I don't know what and I sure he can feel it too" i tell her and she nods " Well im no expert but it sounds like you have met each other before somehow which you haven't considering I have watched you ever since 1301 or maybe you have but you don't remember" she says " Wouldn't you remember then since you have been watching me since 1301?" I ask but she just nods her head " No because sometimes I watch Apollo too and I watched Ares as well when he was still alive, Sorry " she says and i just nod thinking about it " How is it possible that I don't remember, I mean I can't be compelled" i tell her and she just shrugs but then thinks of something or so it looks like. " maybe you haven't met in tel life maybe like in dreams or like soulmate thingy" she tells them and I look at her like she is crazy " Soulmate thingy" I say and she nods and starts talking

" Yea maybe you and Kol are soulmate so I suggest you do something about it like kiss him tomorrow or something and if you feel something then he is your soulmate right?" and I look at her again and she just nods and disappears which make me grunt and stand up.

Could me and Kol really be soulmates like is that even possible.
