Alice's Desire

"A girl was abused and then murdered. Police say the suspects cannot be identified because the girl's body was thrown into the river that crosses H city after the crime. But the girl's father, who says he knows who the culprits are, killed everyone involved, and then turned himself in to the police. The police say the man took the murder weapon and surrendered peacefully."

Jones, as on every evening after coming home from work, was in his armchair, watching the news. His wife was finishing preparing dinner, while the children played around the house.

"Dad, you should stop watching the news on this channel, they only talk about the tragedy. What if my little brothers are traumatized by this rampant violence?" Alice, his daughter, said as she arranged the dinner table.
