Because there was so much money involved, all kinds of people lived in that city, be they good people, or bad people. Elliot's brother lived in this town, but Elliot honestly didn't know if he was good or bad, and honestly, Elliot didn't care. 


The distance from the Prisco state to the New Tomorrow state was 3,000 miles, and even though Elliot had rented a modern aircraft with jet propellers, it would take several hours before he would reach his destination.
