A Game to Define Life and Death

A soldier came up to the stage, where the chief instructor was standing, and said something that only the two of them could hear. After listening in silence for a few seconds, the head instructor nodded in agreement, and the soldier obediently walked away.

Looking at the chief instructor, Catlicam closed his eyes and watched every move the man-made. The chief instructor was 1.74 tall, with a bald head and an easily forgettable face. He didn't have an enviable physique, covered in muscles as rigid as steel, he didn't have a murderous aura or an imposing air surrounding him. He was an ordinary man in every sense of the word.
