“Can you test me on this?” I asked Adrian who was staring at his textbook, trying to understand the diagrams. 


He took the flashcards from me and flipped over them before asking the first question. 


Our final exams were just around the corner, and these were the last finals we would have for high school. After this, it was off to college. 


All the seniors were using every bit of free time to study including me and Adrian. We had study groups with our friends, study time with just the two of us, sometimes in silence and sometimes together, but we never did anything alone. 


In fact, we hadn’t spent more than 10 minutes apart (and even that with great difficulty) after he marked me. 


Our bond had grown a lot since then and everything was perfect before the school started handing out notifications for the finals. 


Now all we could do was study. Our teachers had stopped teaching us more content and now, every class was revision.
