It is very seldom that a mermaid is born during a full moon. So it was believed that Yurena would bring misfortune to her race. One day, an oil spill from an oil tanker spread all over the ocean and killed many mermaids and other sea creatures. This event can be considered a catastrophe and is called a bad omen or misfortune brought by Yurena according to their old belief. 

Yurena was blamed for that incident and their race united to send her to earth to retaliate and kill the man who owned the ship who spread the chemical in their home under the sea. Here, she will meet the handsome billionaire Mao Ferragamo and fall in love with him. 

This will bring confusion in Yurena's mind, what is more important? Her mission or her happiness?

"The tears of us mermaids are special, they form and become pearls. Ordinary tears give white pearls of just the right quality. Tears of happiness give blue pearls, they are of the highest quality. That explains everything," Yurena said.

"In that case, you will really only get rich if you keep crying," replied Mao who could not hide his amazement.

"Like I told you, if I take all the treasures under the ocean I might be richer than you.  Maybe I'm a billionaire like you, " the girl replied.

"That's the way it is, why do you have to tire yourself of selling bracelets and souvenir items at the sea wall? I think you're just exhausting yourself, you can be rich in the blink of an eye if you grab all the treasures from the bottom of the ocean."

"Because I have to learn the way of life of the people around me. I have to get along with them so that I can get used to the way of life here on the high ground," she replied.
