It is very seldom that a mermaid is born during a full moon. So it was believed that Yurena would bring misfortune to her race. One day, an oil spill from an oil tanker spread all over the ocean and killed many mermaids and other sea creatures. This event can be considered a catastrophe and is called a bad omen or misfortune brought by Yurena according to their old belief. 

Yurena was blamed for that incident and their race united to send her to earth to retaliate and kill the man who owned the ship who spread the chemical in their home under the sea. Here, she will meet the handsome billionaire Mao Ferragamo and fall in love with him. 

This will bring confusion in Yurena's mind, what is more important? Her mission or her happiness?

"Are you all right?" Mao asked when I regained consciousness. My head still hurts and so does my whole body. At that moment, I still felt the weakness of my whole body, as if I could not move my leg properly.

"I'm fine, wait, what happened?" I asked him.

"You really don't remember what happened? You seem to have been attacked by something strange the night before. And since then, you have only now regained consciousness," Mao replied

At that moment I became quiet and tried to go back to the incident of the previous night. All I remember is that the moonlight was very strong at that moment and it gave me visions and warnings that might happen in the future. I lost control of myself and felt like I was being swallowed  and devoured by the power of the moon.
