Unlucky space

A beggar who had being laying down there even when the little girl was beaten up was immediately afraid after he saw the girl disappeared so he ran away

Not too far from where they were they appeared Infront of a tree that was without people and the butterfly-like creature that was originally glowing was now dim

"Maybe we should have just walked I feel really tired honestly I didn't think using my powers outside would make me lose so much energy"

Asahel still didn't look surprised as they had just teleported from one place to another though she was surprised on the inside but the expression was really hard to come on her face

"Is this....the space?" she asked looking at the creature curiously

Infact the only expression one could get from looking at her face was curiosity even if she wasn't curious at that time, this also made her look like a fool who was easy to bully but the day she smiled not even the bully had the guts to approach her again

the creature didn't know if that was meant to be a joke but it answered anyway

"It isn't but I'll take you there now"

and with that they appeared inside the space

"Well what do you think?" The creature spoke and looked at Asahel worriedly.

Though it asked her a question but it didn't let her answer and immediately spoke up

"Before you say anything let me explain why this space is different, though I know you've never encountered other space before but this space is very special"

It went on and on praising the space while Asahel sat down and listened

When it saw she hadn't interrupted him like others did, it became a little ashamed and guilty and decided to clarify everything

(It was fine if she didn't want the space he understood it's not like he could force her)

Asahel looked at the creature and felt a pain in her heart she instantly knew this creature was lonely just like her

"You've told me the good part about this space so what Is the bad part about it?"

The creature shrunk it's head and twisted it's finger while trying to avoid it's master eyes

"You see the space really has nice things it's just that most Masters die before they get their hands on it"

Asahel looked back to the space and wasn't surprised by the words the creature said this was because what she was looking at was not a space that had your usual pavilion, sweet water lake, bookshelf of various knowledge, unique rooms with equipped facilities nice trees with delicious fruits and large acers of land ready to be used for planting instead what she saw was a time during the ice age, where everything seemed to just be developing

She saw beast of various kind both big and small some with two heads and some with three heads, flying, crawling and swimming monsters and also insects and carnivorous plants,

from where she sat she could see into the vast space that looked like it had no ending there was also a huge water fall. If she dared step down from where she was not even her hair would be left to see the light of day

The butterfly-like creature looked back at it's master and was worried if it should continue what it wanted to say but he had to because if it didn't when she found out she would be extremely mad at him like others did

"Actually not everyone is born with a space and if you're born with one then you'll definitely fit in with your space but as for you you're not up to this space level"

Asahel raised an eyebrow at the creature but didn't look offended inside nor outside

The creature hurriedly spoke up to clear her misunderstanding

"The reason I said so is because the space has alot of life in it and it goes against it's master's wishes if it were just within the space then that would be fine but it can cross dimensions and interfer in it's master's world and cause problems"

Asahel seemed to be getting the hang of the conversation but she didn't say anything and just listened

"I believe you must have been through alot since you were born well...it has something to do with the space but.....it didn't make your family abandon you that's for sure"

The creature spoke hurriedly and continued

"You see this space was never meant to be yours because you are a child, it's mostly given to those who has advanced in age and can control the misfortune that happens around them by conquering the space, though I reside in the necklace you used to wear and it was given to you by your mother it doesn't mean your mother had the space it just so happens she found it in an abandoned zone a long time ago and I glowed to attract her attention since I was thrown away by my previous master"

The creature chuckled nervously while rubbing it's neck and thought to itself (that will be a story for another day)

"Well your mother picked me up and cleaned me she planned to give it to her son when she had one but after fifteen years of marriage she didn't have a son but had another child making you the eighth female child she has given birth to her mother-in-law planned to dispose of you.

she gave the necklace as a way to find you and coincidentally the space accepted your soul and fated with it, even I can't find my master the space chooses its master"

"Hmmmm I see so that's what that old man was talking about"

"Yea the old man that came to help you, what he said was indeed true but trust me you didn't kill him he died while exorcising a familiar spirit that ran away its just that the spirit held a grudge and with your misfortunes around you the old man kinda...had.... a small fraction of it and he became an easy target for the spirit to come back"

Asahel didn't look any different cause no matter how it sounded she still had a hand in the old man's death

"Anyway the space had had many masters more than centuries ago but none of them have been able to conquer the space some tried and died along the way while others quit the space"

"You can decide to leave the space?" Asahel asked sounding more curious than usual

The creature suddenly felt afraid and didn't really want to say that part but it had to

"Yea you can quit the space and once you do your fate will no longer be bound to the space and the grevious misfortune will stop but it didn't mean you'll just get lucky all of a sudden it's just that does normal occurrence will stop happening"

The creature looked at Asahel and wondered what she would say next

"Hmmm I see you've said alot and I'm hungry is there anything edible in this place"

The butterfly-like creature was happy she didn't decide to quit immediately but was also sad to break the news to her

"Actually from where we are there's nothing a human can eat here instead.....everything here can eat you but one of my masters who was successful to venture deep inside the space was able to find edible foods and rare stones and ornaments"

"Well did he make it back" Asahel said sounding sarcastic even though her face did not showed it

"He....didn't" The creature said with its ears dropped down

"I see alright then let's take care of dinner first"

"You mean you wanna catch one of this monsters and eat?"

"Well not exactly but ain't they meat?"

"They are I even had one master who was able to kill them and sell their paths he was really amazing infact he was the best but he couldn't conquer the space and once he got married the misfortune fell on his wife so he had no choice but to give up on the space"

"I see alright then let's get to work, first of all I need to know can you take a monster or beast out of the space?"
