A tall tale to tell 3

I was surprised thinking that maybe he could see the misfortune that's why he said those words but I realise it was a lie in fact the necklace had acttracted other princesses attention especially when I made it glow to help protect the princess at night and they had tried to assassinate her and it didn't work so they believed the necklace had something to do with it and paid off the priest but when the king heard this he didn't believe at first but the priest persuaded him that besides he could make another one for his daughter but this one had to be removed and when the king refused they had no option but to change their strategy and suggested that the necklace should be destroyed to see for himself so after some discussion they agreed and came in to take the necklace while the princess slept and replaced another one identical to that one so as to ease the worries in the princess mind but I hurriedly woke the princess up and told her everything this was happening,

though she wasn't a master or host of the space but I was still surprised she could interact with me so I believed she would be in danger if the necklace which now bared the space insignia was destroyed, as long as I can remember the space has always taken in a new soul in an old body so I thought that the space was just waiting for when the princess would die before it would accept it's new master from whatever era he or she came from but since they wanted to destroy the space I had a bad feeling thinking that if she didn't quit the space and the Insignia got destroyed she would died immediately

So she woke up and startled her parents who had come in and before they could speak to her she clutched the necklace and held it tightly and glared at them furiously

this startled them and even made them believe the priest's words more so they tried every means possible but she still refused to let go instead her eyes glowed dangerously at them she then ran to a corner and hid when her parents saw this they had no other option but to use force how can their lovely daughter be possessed by a gift they gave her, so they sent in their knights to hold her down and they pinned her, for some reasons I couldn't understand why she didn't speak up instead acted like she was crazy and wild

But since they had a hold of her now and were about to destroy the necklace which would not harm me but instead kill her I decided to make myself visible and this made the men fear so they let go and stood from afar and watched, even the priest

when they saw me they now totally believed the priest but I spoke up and told them I wasn't a danger to her and that she was already poisoned when I got to be by her side and I also told them I was helping to remove the poison, that the priest was lieing and only wanted to take me away from her for his own benifits this of course wasn't enough until I told them that if they broke me without their daughter quitting the space then she would die

After much consideration the king decided to listen to me and held the priest down because I was able to use my power and make him confess then his daughter returned to normal and her father requested that she gave me up but she refused, she said I was her only friend and she didn't mind dieing besides she was already sick beyond repair but after much persuasion she finally let go when I helped heal her in return of quitting the space, her father put the necklace in a box and dugged a deep grave and threw me in"

Asahel had long wanted Fairy to stop talking, she wasn't good with issues like this and she preferred small talks but she could at least tell Fairy had been hoping for someone to hear his side of the story or just his entire experience so for now she let him do as he pleased

"I was inside the box and within the space and lost count of time until I was found by your mother in a new civilization that was when I realised it didn't matter where I was because when the space wanted to get a host it would appear anywhere"

Fairy had been talking for a long time now and didn't realise it had been crying so by the time it finished speaking the glow on its body dim and it slowly flew down then Asahel held out her hands and caught it.

Fairy curled up its legs into its arms and wept from there it slept off.

Asahel just looked at it and didn't expect to hear so much she just hoped Fairy wouldn't sleep off to oblivion

"No matter how you look at it this space is really unlucky" Asahel said and laid down as well to sleep.

she too was tired and her body still ached from the beating that led to the death of the previous owner

in this body pain became a new experience for her but it wasn't on a high level

While these two were having an emotional breakdown that lasted for some hours inside the space a great terror was going on outside of the space

It so happened that in the early hours of the morning outside the space a woman had passed by the tree and was heading to the market when she stepped on something sticky

she thought It was some dirty mud and a log of wood so she bent down to clean her leg when she suddenly touched a human part but because it's not yet bright she couldn't tell much what it was until she used the lamp in her hands to look down

but as soon as she saw what was on the floor she threw the lamp in fear and ran to the direction of were she saw others, without much delay she told them what she had seen and they all went to check.

Not long after the day became clear as the sun slowly rose up and the issue had been reported to the security guards who guided the town and before long an investigation began.

While everyone was being questioned one by one they discovered that four shops which were close to the incident had not yet opened so they deemed them as suspects but when they still didn't show up the security guards informed the head official that was responsible for the town and soon some soilders accompanied him and they had no choice but to break down the outside iron doors and match in only to discover that the place had been cleared out even the wooden door but they were traces of blood inside

This perquiped their interest and they decided to sort actively and catch these men who most have committed or be involved with such crime and with that they made notice of four men who happens to be traders to be arrested on sight.

Not far away from the chaos and fears of the people a carriage had slowed down to inquire of the happenings which made the crowd to gather, soon he got information from his servants who he had sent out.

After hearing everything that was taking place he felt something was off and pondered to himself when suddenly his eyes caught a figure not too far, the figure unlike others seemed to be extremely scared and the fear he had, showed that it was different from what others were feeling here, while the crowd was scared because some body parts were seen as though a monster had emerged and was on the lose this man's fear was more like this monster might come for him specifically
