A simple coincidence

"have you looked at yourself in the mirror?"

Asahel was annoyed with this on and off questions

"Can't you see a mirror In front of me?"

Fairy couldn't help but sigh and flew over indeed there was a mirror in her front and the front was cut well but as for the back there was nothing to right home about

"Let me help you level the hair together"

"That's what you were supposed to do since"

After some minutes they were done but when Asahel looked back at the mirror she couldn't help but turn and glared angrily at Fairy, and seeing this another round of cat and dog chase began

"Don't be mad you already ruined it I just tried to mak it equal"

"Come down here and tell me that"

"Ahhhhh...master.... I'm sorry..... please stop chasing me this is the second time now...."

"This time I'll teach you a lesson I'll shave off all your hair let's see how you like it"

It took a long time before they both gave up the chase,

Asahel sat down and touched her head which was close to being bald but couldn't cry

Fairy felt like saying I managed to save some hair before you cut everything off you should at least be grateful but it held back it's words to avoid another chase

Honestly he wasn't angry infact he felt so happy it had been very long since it had so much fun

After washing off the sweat from the small exercise they had both done Asahel dressed up with the clothes she had sewed and wished she had made a hat or cap to cover her almost bald head

"If anyone laughs at me I promise you won't sleep easily"

Fairy gulped and prayed to avoid such from happening.

Soon she opened a path reaching the outside and came out right on top of one of the branches she had climbed them she came down and walked ahead after a while she reached the shops of those four men and stood there.

At this moment it was noon outside and everyone went about with there works as though nothing happened well at least that's what Asahel thought until a man who had been sitting across from his own stall walked up to her

"Their shops are still vacant and no one is saying anything about them I guess they were really unfortunate to have met me" Asahel thought to herself

"Excuse me young sir do you have business with the owners of these shops?"

Asahel turned and looked at the middle aged man who just spoke but yet she said nothing mostly because she didn't know how to respond and speak in ancient ways

The man seeing that this young sir did not respond didn't feel offended but he still sighed and spoke up

"These empty shops you see have been taken and are under investigation due to the disappearance of its owners I believe a rumour said they had their hands in something which led to the deaths of some unknown citizens and since then they haven't been found"

After saying his piece and saw that the child didn't ask any questions he returned to his own shop but along the way a carriage passing by splashed some dirty water at him from head to toe and the carriage didn't stop

He wanted to curse the person but seeing it was a high dukes carriage he swallowed his words and could only murmur out his unfortunate experience but still he associated it with the shop he went to and made a mental note not to near that shop again before he got really unlucky

"Master why don't you wait here let me check what's happening and since I can't be seen I'll bring news back in a while"

Before Asahel could say anything Fairy flew away

This happened when the merchant was speaking to Asahel and he took her silence for her understanding of the situation and so he left

while Asahel turned the other way to walk back towards the tree when the carriage passed by and spalshed the merchant with dirty water

She heard him curse inwardly but not at the carriage instead at the shops most especially at it's owners believing they were unlucky that's why he got unlucky as well and to prove her point he turned around and spoke up to her, telling her to hurry to her master and not bother about this unlucky owners before she got caught up in their misfortune.

Asahel could only nod and continue walking

within a few minutes Fairy came flying back finally they reached the tree climbed up higher and entered into her space that was when Fairy began to speak of the information it had gathered

"First of all I think we went overboard in killing those four men but they deserved it"

"Just tell me what you found out already"

"Right..... right.....it turns out it's been more than a week since those men died"

Fairy said without much surprise coming from his voice but Asahel raised an eyebrow which held curiosity,

on seeing this Fairy knew it forgot to mention another important thing about this space so it started from there

"I'm sorry I forgot to tell you there's a time difference in the space and outside"

"I see so how much is the difference are we talking about here because cause from last night till now should have been just one day right?"

Fairy looked Asahel this time and some how felt like if it had told her about the time difference before then right now it would have an itching to slap some senes just a little into her head but it restrained it's thoughts and spoke up again

"Actually it doesn't work like that and it's quiet complicated"

Asahel saw that look Fairy gave her and felt lik dragging it down and giving it some few beatings

"Just speak up, everything in this space is already complicated enough a new one won't even come as a surprise to me"

"Sig.....h you see the time in here changes in such a way that I can't keep up in fact it's because of this my previous masters didn't like coming inside here this is because a morning here can be an entire day outside and a morning here can suddenly turn to night without a noon coming up and a night here can be two or more days outside because nights inside the space last longer than day if you haven't noticed that's because you were inside the cave were the temperature seems normal due to the difference types of lakes within each cave but in reality all the time we spent in here making breakfast, making clothes and fixing your hair was a day or two going by without us knowing the cave has it's own light that lit up and glows in different colours because of the organisms that live within the walls and most forms crystals"

"Ohhh now that's complicated which means I could stay here for like a month and a year would pass by in the outside now that's really surprising"

"Yea and this made most of my masters to stay away from the space because if they stayed too long it would be as though they died or moved on to somewhere else"

"I see that's depressing so back to the men what happened?"

"Right....well everyone think they killed someone and ran away with their goods so the soldiers have been patrolling around and asking questions, it so happens that the town we're in is called a merchant town it's very large in fact it's the largest Merchant town in the entire kingdom because this is where a lot of Nobles and common rich folks buy their necessities so their investigation is mostly on the goods we have now because they have high quality the soilders believe selling it off would give them a chance to find those men"
