- D O V E - W I N C H E S T ER -

Another day gone. Another moment wasted.

Groaning, I get out bed with a shaky breath and go into the bathroom, flinching when I pull my shirt over my head that rubs against my back.

I look into the mirror, tears forming my eyes as I look at the belt marks on my back after Giovanni had decided he wanted to fuck me, but I had kneed him in the groin in response.

He had pushed me down onto the floor and whipped me with his belt, but thankfully I was able to roll onto my stomach to protect my baby, getting my back whipped furiously instead.

It hurt like a bitch, but Gabriella was kind enough to help me apply ointment on the bruises.

My wrist and arm had a purple bruises on them from when he gripped me hard last night and my cheek was bruised from when he had slapped me, hard.

Can't wait to kill him.

Stripping out of everything, I make sure the door was locked before stepping under the shower. I winced when the water hit the bruises.

My muscles relaxed the longer I stood under it, although my legs felt like jelly and I had to keep a hand on the wall for support since I couldn't eat properly and wasn't properly eating anything.

Finishing my shower, I put on some lingerie and black jeans along with a matching black top and a white denim jacket on top.

Slipping on black boots, I came out of the wardrobe and saw Gabriella pacing back and forth in my room.

"Gabriella? What's wrong?" I asked frowning when she looked at me worried and rushed to me.

"It's the master, he demands you come down right now." She said fearfully.

"Why?" I asked, scared of what he might do after last night.

" I think you're getting married, today." She said when my eyes widened.

"W-What? N-no, I can't let that happen. I'm already married!" I said exasperated and saw her frown.

"You're married?" She asked confused when I bit my lip and nodded nervously.

"I married Nico the day I was taken." I said when she released a shaky breath.

"This is not good, Giovanni cannot find out of this."

"Then what do I do?" I asked worried.

"Don't worry dear, I have a hunch that your husband and his men are on their way to get you. Giovanni doesn't know we contacted them or that you had a tracker on you. He's not smart when it comes to that." She said and I nodded.

I felt hope rise in my chest at the possibility of Nico coming to save me, because I couldn't take t any more. I wanted out.

"But for he while being, don't make him suspicious and just do what he says, but don't submit to him completely or he'll get suspicious." She warned and I nodded as we went down with guards leading us.

Entering the dining room, I was met by the same cold, grey eyes and his evil smirk as he beckoned me closer to him with his finger.

Gulping, I complied and sat in my usual seat as we quietly ate breakfast before he broke the silence, my body growing rigid when he placed his hand on mine.

"We need to proceed with everything today, it cannot wait." He said when my eyes widened as I pulled my hand out of his grasp quickly.

"I'm not marrying you. I hate you." I spat when he chuckled humourlessly and shook his head.

"That's okay darling, we can't have everything, now can we?" He smirked as dread settled in the pit of my stomach.

This can't be happening.

"The maids will get you dressed in two hours. Don't miss me till then." He said and got up from his seat. I sighed in relief when I realized he was leaving.

But then I felt his warm breath fan the back of my neck as he placed a kiss on my cheek, my body getting alert under his touch.

"I hope you chose an option, I'll await your answer in exactly two hours." He said and I gulped, my hands shaking as he walked away while tears slipped down my cheeks.

I sprinted back to my room, the guards behind me, obviously, when I heard the door being opened and Gabriella stepped in.

"Come with me." She gestured towards the bathroom and we both went in when she shoved a phone in my hands.

"Call for help, alert them, immediately." She said and I nodded as she left me to keep watch outside while I fumbled with the phone, dialling the only other person I trusted besides Nico with this.

The person picked up on the second ring, asking who it was when I closed my eyes and a sob escaped me.

"Jake, it's me, Dove, please don't tell Nico." I said quickly and heard some shuffling and a door closing before he spoke again.

"Fuck, Dove, are you alright? Why don't you want to talk to Nico?" He asked worried.

"I-I needed to alert you. Gio's marrying me in two hours, or something like that, I'm not sure. Where are you guys?" I asked worried, biting my lip nervously when he swore.

"Fuck, we're in the city and gathering more men and weapons. The place you're in is very heavily guarded and secure." He said when my shoulders slumped.

"But don't worry, we'll get you as soon as possible, just hang in there." He reassured me when I hummed.

"Okay, I need to tell you something else as well. He gave me three options." I said.

"What options?" He asked confused when I sighed.

"I'll tell you, I have a plan, but you need to listen carefully-..." I told him what I had planned while he listened with rapt attention and said 'yes' or an 'okay', occasionally asking a question or two before he told me Nico's plan.

I hung up after speaking with him, peeking outside and handed the phone back to Gabriella and thanked her before she left me alone.

I slumped on the bed, turning to my side so the bruises on my back wouldn't hurt as my hand cradled my flat stomach absent minded.

"Daddy and I will always protect you, and we'll always keep you safe, baby." I murmured, feeling overly emotional as I sniffled and wiped my tears away.

"But let's not make momma cry so much, yeah? She needs the energy for later. And she might get hurt, but I want you to be brave and stay safe because momma has to protect your daddy too." I whispered, tears falling down as I hugged my knees to my chest and cried silently.

Nearly an hour or two later, I was gently shaken awake by Emily, the maid with the black hair as I sat up, my muscles sore from laying in an uncomfortable position.

"It's time, miss." She said and I looked around the room.

"Are you alone?" I asked and saw her nod as she pulled a sharp dagger from her uniform and handed it to me.

Then, to my utter surprise, she pulled out a gun from her apron pocket and gave it to me with shaky hands.

"This is for your protection. Gabriella told me the plan. Lucy is on board as well." She said, referring to the other maid who was always with her.

I nodded gratefully, placing the weapons somewhere safe where they wouldn't be seen.

"Thank you, Emily, I owe you a lot." I said with tears in my eyes when she smile and hugged me.

"It's okay, you're a very nice person and deserve so much. Please don't cry, you will be safe and happy and I know it." She said determined when I chuckled.

"Thank you. So much." I whispered wiping away a tear when the door to the room suddenly opened and Giovanni stepped in, making me freeze in place.

"Out." He ordered and Emily kept her head down, mumbling a 'yes sir' before she scrambled out of the room while I watched him with caution as he looked around.

"Have you decided?" He asked when I gulped and nodded after a few moments.

"I have. I'll-..." I stopped short when he started laughing.

What's so funny?

"You think I'd actually let you decide?" He said, wiping a fake tear from his eye when I frowned.

"You asked me to choose, so I chose." I said firmly when he smirked viciously.

"And you should know better than to actually believe me, darling. I've made the choice for you." He said taking a step towards me when I stepped back unconsciously.

"T-That's not fair." I said, worried about the plan.

Shit, what now?

"Well, life isn't fair, darling, get used to it. As for what I chose for you, I have a much better idea, and you'll absolutely love it." He said with a sick grin on his face as he walked towards me.

"N-No, stay back." I held my hands out in front of me to protect myself when he called someone in the room.

A man with glasses entered, holding what seemed like a briefcase before Giovanni grabbed my arm and dragged me towards the man.

"Do it." He gritted out as the man took out a syringe from his bag and uncapped it, filling it with some type of pale coloured liquid he took from a black glass bottle before coming towards me.

My eyes widened in fear, not knowing what that was and if it could possibly harm the baby when Giovanni gripped me tighter while I squirmed in is hold.

"Get that away from me! Please, I'll do anything! I swear, please don't do this!" I yelled and flailed around but the man and Giovanni were quicker, holding me steady as the man pushed the needle inside my arm.

I winced at the prickly feeling as I felt something rush in my arm, while I tried to escape their hold but when the doctor pulled away, my heart dropped when I saw the empty syringe as Giovanni let go of me.

I rubbed my arm, waiting for he medicine to start taking its effect but nothing happened as of yet as the unfamiliar man left and Giovanni chuckled, holding what seemed like a vial as he examined it.

He shook the transparent liquid inside it before grinning at me.

"Want to know what this is, darling?" He asked me as I cowered away from him when he leaned towards me, last night's memories still fresh in my mind.

"S-Stay away from me." I stuttered.

"This, is the answer to your questions. It's what I chose for you, darling, and you're going to love what happens next." He chuckled darkly, a sinister tone in his voice.

"W-what did you do?" I whispered when he grinned.

"What I've wanted to do all along. To get rid of that man of yours. And you, my darling, are the one who's going to pull the trigger." He chuckled darkly as my eyes widened.

What the actual fuck.
