As the days passed, January came to an end and Alex found himself sitting in his room, lost in the world of "Life and Land" on his PC. His eyes were fixed on the screen as he searched for a particular object he had been seeking. Suddenly, a knock on the door interrupted his focus.
He quickly saved his game and got up to answer the door, wondering who could be visiting him at this hour. To his surprise, he found Jessica, his company's new assistant, standing outside. She was a young woman in her early twenties, fresh out of college, and eager to prove herself in the corporate world.
The HR team at Portal had hired her to take on some of the administrative tasks that had been weighing on Maxie, who was also the CEO of Portal Food. With Jessica on board, Maxie would finally have some relief and could focus on his responsibilities as CEO.
Jessica smiled as she introduced herself and stepped into the room. Alex welcomed her and offered her a seat, curious to know more about the young woman who would soon be his right-hand. They chatted for a while, discussing her qualifications and experiences, and before long, Alex knew that she was the right fit for the job.
As they continued their conversation, Jessica reached into her bag and pulled out a thick folder. "I have the report you asked for," she said, handing it over to Alex.
With a sense of anticipation, Alex opened the folder and began to scan through the pages. The numbers jumped out at him, and he could hardly believe what he was seeing. The sales for the company had amounted to a staggering 50 million dollars this month alone!
Overwhelmed with emotion, Alex felt a smile spread across his face. It was hard to believe that just a few short months ago, the company was barely making 100 thousand dollars a month. Now, they had jumped from 100 thousand to 10 million and now 50 million in just over three months.
He looked up at Jessica, his eyes shining with pride. "This is incredible," he said. "We've come so far in such a short amount of time."
Jessica beamed with pride. "It's all thanks to the hard work and dedication of the team," she said. "Everyone has really come together to make this happen."
Alex felt a deep sense of gratitude towards his team. He knew that he couldn't have done this without their support and commitment. As he sat there, surrounded by the proof of their success, he felt a sense of accomplishment that he had never experienced before.
Then Alex said "Now that we have made a name for ourselves in the industry we should cut ties with CyberEats and join another company to distribute our food products"
As Alex basked in the glow of their recent success, Jessica couldn't shake the feeling of confusion. She knew that partnering with CyberEats had been instrumental in their early success, so why were they now cutting ties with them? She couldn't help but wonder what was behind this decision.
Taking a deep breath, she mustered up the courage to ask the question that had been on her mind. "I don't understand," she said. "Partnering with CyberEats was such a big part of our early success. Why are we ending this partnership now?"
Alex sighed and leaned back in his chair. "To be honest, I don't know much about business," he admitted. "All I know is that I don't want to be partners with my high school bullies. They were always making my life miserable, and I just can't bring myself to work with them."
Jessica nodded, understanding where he was coming from. But she couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to this story. "What should we do?" she asked.
"Talk to Maxie," Alex said, gesturing towards the door. "She's the CEO of Portal Food Supplies now, and she'll know what to do. If she thinks it can be done, then let her do it. And if she doesn't think it's a good idea, then she'll come up with something else. I trust her completely."
Jessica nodded, knowing that Maxie was more than capable of handling this situation. As she rose from her seat and made her way to the door.
After Jessica left Alex continued playing the game and search grind for that object, he continued this till the evening and then went to sleep.

Sea Co. Auto-mubile division
At the Sea Co. Auto-mobile division, the engineers were on a mission to change the world. They had their sights set on creating a battery-powered flight that could fly long distances, using the revolutionary new battery PV-17.
The PV-17 had been a game changer for the industry, its advanced technology making it the most efficient and low-cost battery available on the market. It had been selling like hotcakes ever since its release, and the demand for the battery only seemed to be growing by the day.
But their success didn't stop there. Voltronix had also released a range of other batteries with the same advanced technology as the PV-17, making it the most efficient and low-cost option in the industry. The world was changing, and Voltronix was leading the way.
The engineers had been experimenting with the double charge used by batteries, using this technology to create a nearly infinite loop for their battery-powered flight. The goal was to keep the flight in the sky for longer periods of time, without the need for repeated charging.
Suddenly, a shout of excitement echoed through the lab. "Guys! This actually stabilized! Check it out!" Engineer Noah had discovered a way to use the first battery to charge the second battery. The electrical discharge always doubled as it traveled between the two batteries, creating enough energy to run the engine.
This breakthrough was a huge leap in technology. The PV-17 battery was special because its durability did not wear off as quickly as other batteries. This meant that the battery-powered flight only needed to be charged once, and it could fly for six months before needing a replacement battery.
However, the batteries would eventually burn out after six months of use. This was a common problem with all batteries, but the PV-17's longer lifespan was still a major accomplishment.
As the engineers continued their work, they knew they had made a significant impact on the auto-mobile industry. Their battery-powered flight was not only more efficient, but it was also more sustainable. The future of transportation was changing, and Sea Co. was leading the way.
