I closed my eyes with a frown as I held the urge to shout curses because of the pain, it didn't hurt that much, but it still hurt a lot. The pain slowly faded away as I found new memories ingrained to my brain.

"Vera?" Kayden asked. "I'm still here Kayden," I answered back. The grey cat woke up and saw Hazel, Onyx and Fifty with aggression in its eyes, lunging at them with horrid screech.

And just before Kayden could act, I stretched out my hand and held the grey cat by the neck, immobilizing it. The mist dissipated a bit, and I opened my eyes to see a human hand.

"Oh, I'm human again."

I muttered to myself as Kayden, Hazel, Onyx, and Fifty stared at me with complete shock. I turned the grey cat around to face me and as soon as it saw my face, it lost its feral nature.

It slumped, giving up any resistance. I smiled, "Now, now. Calm down and go to sleep first." placing down the cat on the sofa again, it curled up and slept again. "Phew~"

The mist fully dissipated as I looked at Kayden and the three Meowketeers, they were gawking at me. "What?" I asked in confusion tilting my head, oh it must be because of how I look.

I smirked at Kayden and spoke, "What's wrong, Kayden? Am I that beautiful? Well, you don't need to gawk at me so much." Placing my hand on my face, I covered my smirk.

But something was off, the cats and Kayden were still gawking at me and not saying a word. "Hello?" I spoke, what the hell? Were they actually entranced by my beauty?

My train of thought were disrupted by a sudden sound- "I'm Home!" Jiwoo shouted as he peeked through the door and took off his shoes, he froze for a second, before looking up again.

He was frozen in place, goddamn, am I that beautiful. 'cause I don't think so. "Hey Jiwoo, It's me, Vera Estelle!" I exclaimed. "I found a way that I could become human again!"

I beamed at him as everyone included the three Meowketeers Hazel, Onyx, and Fifty started shouting. "-M-M-Ms. V-vera! Y-your… c-clothes!" Jiwoo stuttered as he looked away and closed his eyes.

"My clothes?" I muttered almost inaudibly, looking down at my body. A look of mild horror dawned my face, I was walking around f*cking naked. I sighed in despair.
