Caught In Chaos 3

Higurashi did not mind Alvin's little action as his gaze fixed on the displayed video. A bit funny but he suddenly thought of the peeping tom earlier.

Alvin cleared his voice. " The suspect stayed in this single cabin section. If the people we took earlier that are staying in this area are innocent, then the suspect is still within these cabins."

"Machida." Higurashi said.

"Yes sir." Machida then briefly went out and ordered some men to surround the wagon. While Higurashi and Alvin watched on the monitors.

Akira inside his cabin suddenly felt his heart skip a bit. It is the same feeling when he is in the wild when a dangerous wild animal is approaching or the danger is within the area.

He hurriedly stood up and stared intently at the cabin door as though he could look through it.

Machida's group slowly approached the door to the hallway of wagon 7 where Akira's cabin is located. The other group of teams were also slowly approaching the door on the other end of the hallway.

Akira's feeling intensified as the seconds went by. He secured his black backpack on his back where he put most of his very important things. He then took his homemade sevoflurane spray in ready to use while his right hand held a syringe filled with Midazolam.

Watching from the monitor, Higurashi saw Machida and his team stand in front of each closed cabin door while some team waited in each hallway door.

Machida silently signaled when the running train suddenly shook violently followed by a long screeching sound of metals as the wagon where they stood suddenly turned upside down.

Akira who was standing inside his cabin was thrown against the the cabin window and rolled twice against the ceiling and on the floor before managing to hold on the secured sofa bed.

Higurashi's group on the other hand were looking more wrecked. Blood was gushing out from the left side of Higurashi's head while Alvin's body was more wounded. Two of the security team were severely wounded while three were unconscious. The wagon that they were in was blown out by a high caliber launcher weapon. They were thrown out in different directions as the roof and the side of their cabin was opened by the strong impact.

Machida's group on the other hand were slightly better but the wagon they were in rolled out of the rails. Now they were hanging sideways on the cliff of the mountain and felt like they were still slowly moving downward.

Akira, whose face was stuck on the window glass, slightly shook his head to ease the dizziness he felt. When he felt that the world stopped spinning, he suddenly felt like his soul was going to fly out from him when he saw the tip of the trees and the rocky field down below. Worst was that he felt the train continue to slowly move downward. Akira nervously but calmly crawled towards the cabin door.

'Almost there…' He reached out unto the door knob and finally grabbed it. He hurriedly opened it and held onto the door frame.

Machida, who was coincidentally near, turned his head when he heard the door open below him.

Akira, who was grabbing on the door frame, was stunned when saw a hanging big built man holding on to the door up across from him. He briefly looked around and saw that there were also other men in black suits who were also hanging in different positions. He also saw some other passengers who were bleeding and unconscious.

Akira continued to crawl out from the door and Machida continued to go up. His goal was the broken window of the cabin in front of him. Akira also saw this.

Knowing that he can not reach the door across him, Akira shamelessly holds onto the reachable hanging feet in front of him.
