Chapter 6

Somehow I ended up in a bar with this crazy woman.

"I thought it was going to be small talk at a coffee shop, why did it end up here?"

"Relax boy, it's best to chill at night with a glass of beer and some snacks. I also called Julia to come over, threatening 'if you don't come, I will eat your nephew'."

She teased me by taking out her tongue and moving it around her lips.

"Hoh, you think you can tease this grown man? To be honest I'm even happy that you can serve me, just so you know hmmmmm---"

She kissed me suddenly. And instead of a normal kiss, he put his tongue into my mouth. His tongue seemed to push my tongue, several times he also sucked my tongue, I tried to resist, but my body was already weak. It was a long French kiss.

"Eh...." I am speechless.

"You're such a nag. To me, you're just a half-grown boy. How was my kiss earlier? Do you want to continue here or in bed?"

I just hold back my embarrassment while wiping my mouth with my hand.

We both finally sat on the sofa. The bar wasn't too big, but the atmosphere was pretty calm. It seemed like they had just opened because we were the first customers. But it didn't take long for people to come in, most of them came alone. I guess this place is meant for those who want to drink in peace or just those who want to get rid of their stress.

A few minutes later, my aunt came in. From the look on her face, she looked like someone who was chasing a flight.

"Why did you bring him here?!"

"Yo Julia! You finally came here."

Then auntie looked at me with an angry look on her face.

I didn't know what to say.

"Calm down, you think too much of her as a child. He's old... hey kid, how old are you?"

"Twenty-two years old and don't call me that."

"Right... he's an adult! Just relax, sit here!"

"I don't want to be long, because I'm still working on my script. You're my editor, but you're the one who asked me to do this."

"Hehe, you know... life should be fun, not just work."

"Joseph, don't drink too much, if you get drunk, I'll struggle to bring you home."

I nodded but didn't look at her.

"What's wrong Joseph?"

"She's like that because you're acting like his mom."

"SORRY!" I said it.

Suddenly there was silence, only the soft sound of the music in the bar.

Sitting up, I bent my body towards my aunt.

"I did something inappropriate earlier. I didn't know that auntie had such a traumatic past."

"Joseph... Mia! You told him, didn't you?!"

I didn't hear her reply.

"I told you not to tell anyone about my past."

"Sorry Julia, I did this to help you."

"Help? He became like this because of you."

The atmosphere was getting tense, I felt stupid because my timing wasn't right.

"Joseph..." He held my shoulders. "I'm not mad at you. It was my fault after all, and it's natural for you to do that because we were alone together while watching an indecent scene."

"What were you doing? Kissing? Groping? Or have you guys started touching each other's genitals--"

" Your brain needs to be baptized once in a while." She pinched her cheek.

The tense atmosphere just now finally began to melt again when these two women started drinking. This woman forced my aunt to keep drinking. Slowly but surely, my aunt's cheeks started to turn red.

My auntie started to babble on about her novel writing. I just savored my beer slowly while enjoying the jazz music played by the bar.

This woman starts to twitch into me.

"Joseph, Julia is very drunk right now. If you want to have some fun with her, this is a perfect time."

Although it was not the right thing to do when I looked at my drunk aunt. She is so cute, I can't resist teasing her.

Eventually, we switched sitting positions, now I was sitting next to my aunt. I could hear her random talk more clearly.

"Auntie."

She looked up at me. Then suddenly grabbed my cheeks with both hands.

"Oh Joseph, you've grown so much... you're getting handsome! It's different from how you used to be, small, sweet, and crybaby."

I heard a small laugh from behind me. I can tell she's holding back her laughter.

"Thank you for the compliments."

"No, I should be the one thanking you. Because of you, I can be like this. It's all because of your cheer. Also, thank you for the flowers. They're beautiful."

Then my aunt fainted, or more like fell asleep on me.

"Flowers? Did you give her flowers before?"

"It's a long story. I actually kind of forgot, but when she mentioned it again, I suddenly remembered. Even not totally."

I wonder why my mind doesn't want to remember it. It's like there's an old scar that I don't want to remember.
