Temple And Priest 2

"Yes, my child. But do not worry as your life is not yours alone in a nutshell it is for a greater cause."

'Woow! Look at her mood swings and her face turning on and off with every thought.'

I couldn't hold my shock inside and my face got deeply painted with it.

"Don't be shocked. You were never meant to be married but now that you are. Umm I guess you will become alone at last. Anyway, let it be, tell me how you are…"

She stopped with the last words untold as I could hear it clearly mysteriously. She was talking about my parents.

"They loved me." I said without pain taking to my heart this time.

"Oh! Time teaches hard and harsh very well. My sweet child, if you can withstand this much then I fear nothing and can rest easy."

She pondered for another half an hour and her aura dissipated slowly.

Synge walked towards me calmly and I became restless unknowingly.

Even though I know her, it's strange now seeing it piercing into my eyes this way.

'It has changed!'

A flash of light entered my eyes and when I turned to others, they were acting normal.

'Did they not see anything which happened just now? And who was that lady?'

A thought clinged and stuck in my mind.

"Alene! Let's meet our priest first." Frank approached me smiling.

'Priest!'

"Okay. But how is…"

As I was not even finished, the lady who talked to me just a moment ago in a mysterious way appeared with a much older look.

But her aura didn't fade like her age.

"You're!" My shout shocked Frank and the priest.

"Oh! My young lady. Have we met before?"

This lady talked to me as if she had not met me before.

'Is she cracked?'

A funny thought crossed my mind and a laugh nearly broke despite the not so funny situation.

"Grrr…"

'Synge! What happened…'

'Huh?! It has changed. What is this feeling?'

As I glided my gaze to my hands, I could see my own aura.

'What if…'

I focused my eyes and raised my werewolf a little bit then glided my eyes on others around.

'Their aura and power! How amazing? I could see them all.'

"Are you there?"

Frank snapped his finger and brought me to senses.

"Huh?! Nothing."

"You looked like a total joker when you just stood with your mouth wide open."

"What?! You sure want to have my fist for lunch."

"Oh! There! I got scared. Hahaha!"

'Whoa!'

The priest approached looking at me strangely and checked from every angle.

"What is this? There is something missing."

She said with a look of disbelief in her eyes.

'Missing what! I have all the needed ribs inside. You must be missing some parts up there.'

I don't know but I felt very funny about her actions and nearly burst.

"What is it, priest?" Frank asked.

"Nothing." She sulked down again just like before.

"Then what were you checking earlier?" I asked with a deep voice.

"There! This is what was missing!" She exclaimed.

She rushed back to the building and a loud sound of something crashing and falling rang out.

Soon, she returned with a book and she looked at my back, turning the pages.

"This is what we already know." Douard intervened.

"You! How dare you come inside?" The Priest shouted.

Her normal aura vanished and a violent and murderous aura overlapped her body.

"How are you grandma?" Betty approached her.

"Who? What? How much have you changed my girl?"

The priest didn't introduce herself but gave weird reactions to different people.

"Why is it happening this soon?" She said with a worried and deep voice.

And she returned to her building.

Ned and Douard stepped ahead and bowed.

"Let's go to the rooms. It will soon be night here." Douard said.

Everything always moved so mysteriously and yet today too.

While returning to the buildings and separate rooms, Frank and Betty, including me and Martha, had various questions.

When we stepped outside, Emma and Nathan were quietly standing there.

"What happened? Why are your faces red?"

Ned asked but no answer fell.

A quiet and sheer powerful aura oozed out of them.

"Ah he just started a fight out of nowhere and I said You're wrong that's all."

Emma pouted and turned the other way.

"Why did you not come inside?" Douard asked.

"I am hungry!" Nathan said.

"Let's meet at our dinner table." Ned said and went for his work.

"Weird! She didn't talk to me like that." Betty said.

She couldn't believe that she acted weirdly from usual.

"What is it, Betty?"

"The Priest! She used to love and care for me like her grandchild. Never she did such a weird act."

"Maybe she saw what has changed inside you and felt, the war, which is inevitable, would bring a disastrous ending."

"Why would you say that?" Betty gave me a shocked and confused look.

'Ah! Such a red face. Huh?! Why am I attracted to red faces?'

'Bulge!'

'Huh?! What is…'

I started to lose my control.

Suddenly a sting fell on my head.

"Control your urge Alene!"

'What urge?!'

"Blood. Urge for blood. Save it for war."

'Huh?! For blood.'

Am I changing to a vampire? A thought which never bothered me strung me so hard this time.

"Hey! Let's go! What do you always dawdle on like this? You look stupid you know?" Betty snapped me to senses.

"Huh?! Umm am I? Frank! Look at you!"

When I couldn't even collect myself, Frank had a strange aura around him, a total difference from before we entered.

"W-what are you saying?" He was puzzled out of shock.

I grabbed him and brought to a wide open place outside the second building.

"Grrr…"

Changing to my wolf, I provoked him to turn.

But something unexpected happened, he changed into a different wolf than his usual one.

"What?!" Betty too exclaimed out of this weird phenomenon.

He couldn't see himself clearly and ran toward the fountain near the garden there and looked at himself in the moonlight.

'What am I?'

He turned back and looked at us surprised.

"Alene! How did you…"

Frank had his words cut off when Betty spoke out loud.

"Frank! You… you too have shared the curse… umm… blessing. But how?"

The mark which defined me appeared on him too and his power which was greater than his peers here, raised even more.

"Grrr…"

'Huh?! Synge. What is it?'

"He has a vampire awakening too!"

"A vampire!"

A word which every werewolf hates upon hearing, let out of my mouth unknowingly.

Frank had his face distorted like he never wanted being called that even though he too is a hybrid.

'Bulge! Surge! Swoosh!'

His power fluctuated and his werewolf and vampire inside fought for it's very own vessel.

"Now!"

Synge shouted within.

Unknowingly turning to the wolf, I jumped at him.
