Epilogue

Six Months Later

“Hey babe where are you going?”

Gears looked over at Carina as she sat in the rocking chair nursing their newborn pup Leviticus. He had his coloring and Carina’s eyes. You could already tell he was going to be tall like him. Funny enough Kaiser looked like an older version of Leviticus, that’s why everyone has always thought that Kaiser was his biological pup. Hell, in his mind Kaiser was, and they would never tell him differently.

“I’m going out onto the landing.”

Carina nodded knowing that was code for club business. Gears climbed out the window and leaned against the railing. He looked at his phone and saw that it was a call from Savage.

“Hey brother is it done?”

Gears waited anticipation coursing through him.

“It is.”

Gears grunted.

“Are you coming back?”

Savage was a nomad for the Creed, but Gears hoped his friend would stick around this time.

“No, I’m heading out West.”
