Book exerpt:
Not deterring, I try my hardest to get to the door. As I feel my fingertips graze the door, my body starts to fall. Oh no! I'm not going to make it!

I look over and see my attacker is suddenly back at my side again. He grabs me as I slip further into the floor. I try to hit him, but my arms aren't responding. This was the most terrifying thing to have ever happened to me.

"Don't be afraid," he says as he gently lays me down, my vision starting to blacken in a haze." I'm here to kill you."


Samantha Howell has everything: a large fortune she doesn't need or want and the perfect fiancee. On the night of her annual family gala, she is kidnapped and imprisoned by an Assassin for hire. Will she find out who is behind this, or will she die trying?

My Assassin

I scream as the bullets continue to pour in! The windows and furniture are being ripped to shreds by the barrage of shots from the front door. 


I continue to scream but can’t move! I’m paralyzed with fear. The bullets won’t stop flying in! 


It feels like there’s no end to this nightmare! 


I see LeAnn standing, returning fire towards the front door, when our intruder stops firing. 


I inhale and exhale deeply. I have to move! 


Slowly crawling towards her, I cover my head. The suitcase with her knives is near me. I grab it and finish crawling to her. The only things I can see in front of me are smoke and feathers from the now-totaled sofas. 


LeAnn ducks and pulls the gun out from underneath an end table. We are both crouching behind the sofa. 


“Take this! Remember how I showed you to use it!” I nod at her, take a deep breath, and grab it, covering my head.
