FORTY ONE: DOUBTS AND SIGNS VII

[SHAIRA's POINT OF VIEW]

I was looking at Allysa when a smile formed on my face. She's actually a caring and dedicated person.

"Allysa, you may rest now."

"Are you sure, ma'am? How about Tamra? I need to fetch him to bed, right?" Allysa replied.

"I'll fetch him to bed since I'm waiting for my husband to be home," I replied.

"But... you need to rest early, ma'am. Sir, Jhotam will scold me if you stay up late," Allysa replied, wearing a worried expression on her face.

I heaved a heavy breath and thought I must not exhaust myself. Thus, I replied, "Alright. However, make sure to wake me up once my husband arrives."

Before Allysa could utter a word, we heard the horn of a car buzzing outside our residence.

"Please excuse me for a second; I need to open the garage."
