[SHAIRA's POINT OF VIEW]
I found myself entranced by the sight of my husband, Jhotam, lying peacefully asleep beside me. The early morning light cast a soft glow on his face, accentuating his strong jawline and the subtle lines that marked the passage of time. It was a face I knew so well, and yet, it held a complexity that both intrigued and pained me.
As I watched him, a mix of emotions swirled within me. There was a time when love had radiated from every pore when the mere thought of Jhotam had made my heart skip a beat. But now, alongside that love, there was a deep-seated resentment, born out of hurt and betrayal. It was a tumultuous concoction of emotions that had woven its way into the fabric of our relationship.
