SIXTY FOUR: IT WASN’T ACCIDENT

[SHAIRA's POINT OF VIEW]

"Honey, look!" My husband yelled, his voice filled with alarm, causing a ripple of unease among the people around us. Curiosity mixed with a tinge of dread, I turned around to see what had caught his attention. As my eyes followed his gaze, a collective gasp of horror echoed through the air.

There, emerging ominously from the distance, was a speeding car hurtling towards us. Time seemed to slow down as I instinctively grabbed my husband's hand, our hearts pounding in unison.

Panic surged through my veins, and I felt a surge of adrenaline kick in.

"Take Tamra away," I yelled.

Chaos erupted as the impending danger loomed closer, threatening to shatter the peaceful atmosphere we had enjoyed just moments ago. Fear gripped my chest, but I refused to let it paralyze me.

Together, my husband and I darted towards the nearest available refuge, our legs carrying us as fast as they could.
