SHAIRA’s POINT OF VIEW
(Inside ICU)
"I warned you. You have never listened! Damn it! If it's not for those divorce papers, this will not happen. It's your damn fault! Damn! You and your closed and selfish mind." It was the first time he scolded me this hard.
"Don't put all the blame on me. Don't you think you caused all this trouble? Divorce will never exist on us, only if you were faithful to me! Damn it! Don't act like this is my entire fault." My eyes were swollen because tears won't stop falling. I'm drained— physically and emotionally.
"Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to blame you. I love you, please listen to me just once." He kneeled. He held my hands, but I pulled them out.
"I don't want to hear lies." I looked away. He cupped my face trying to get my attention. I keep on avoiding his eyes.
