The Representative from Nix Family was an middle-aged man with brown hair and ocean blue eyes with sharp features. His face is devoid of any emotion but his eyes are filled with an naked enmity and hatred like Ethan have killed his family or something.

Looking at him, Ethan was feeling like someone is strangling his neck as he looked at him. Ethan turns his head to face someone else. His eyes stops at professor and his expression turn ugly.

The professor who was sent to keep an eye was none other than Professor Ross the one who is in charge of infirmary. Ethan was actually doubting if school have given up on him and sending him in just a part of formality.

In term of reputation, LIFE will in no way lose to any organization in human domain. In Human Domain, Most of the A-Rank or above are graduated from this academy. This time, He is not even in fault so it's unlikely academy will give up on him.

There was another person accompanying him. She was a buxom beauty with chocolate blonde hair and light green eyes. She was mostly likely the person with lie detection skill. Professor Ross takes the lead and introduces his 'guests'.

"He is Charon Nix, The father of the water mage you brutally killed last time."

'At the least pretend you are at my side! You Bastard!'

Ethan wants to scream but he can't open his mouth, a thick pressure envelops the room. What the hell is he planning by provoking a father who's son was killed recently?

"She is Bretta. She will ask you some question related to last incident. It will better not to lie and say every word truthfully."

He introduces other person without care. I give her a nod as greeting which she replied in same manner. She sits on the same stool which was warmed up by Lucas and Chloe yesterday while professor and Charon were standing behind her.

Ethan was feeling suffocated as he sit on the bed. Charon was not even hiding his murderous intent locked on me while Professor was pretending like he doesn't even exist! Ethan took a deep breath to calm him down and looked at Bretta.

"You may ask your inquiry."

Bretta looked at both men behind her and turned her head at him.

"First, How about you tell us everything from the beginning?"

He gives her a nod and told her everything. When he reaches the part where he fights with water mage, a dripping sound echoed in the silent room. Charon's nails were digging on his hand. He was biting his lips as his face turn extremely ugly. He took a step forward.

Ethan looked at other two; they were not reacting in any way! Was he really going to die after surviving everything? He still didn't ask for money that brat owe him. Heck, he didn't even fall in love with someone. Is he really going to die without even knowing love?

Bretta said. "Continue."

Ethan start his story again, This time there were surprised faces as they found out how Ethan killed Charon's son. Charon refused to believe him.

"He is lying!!"

"He is not! Continue."

He went ahead and this time there were more than just a step. Professor finally made his move. He stands in front of him with a lazy expression but eyes don't look the same.

"Let's calm down, shall we? Nothing good will come if you kill him right now."

Ethan continues his story as Charon calm down. Bretta and Professor were surprised as they hear his story if not for her skill, she would never believe that a G-Rank can kill a strong E-Rank and heavily injured multiple F-Ranks and E-Ranks. Charon face turns ugly and resentful as he heard him. Among E-Ranks, His son was the only one who died while other lived!

"I was also told to ask some questions. Are you fine with it?"

Ethan gave her a nod.

"You're meeting with Neil. Was it really an accident?"

"Yes, it was."

"Did you save him for any possible benefits?"

"No."

"Did you have any intention to harm him?"

"No."

"Were you actually working for kidnapper?"

"No."

"I suppose he answered all the question, Do you want to ask anything else?"

Professor asked Charon who didn't say anything and leave. He looks like he won't be able to control himself if he stays here any further. Bretta also stand up and leave. Professor and Ethan were only one remaining inside room.

"Tch."

"Did you just click your tongue?"

Ethan asked as he clearly heard him clicking his tongue.

"You won't understand. Anyway, do you feel anything weird or discomfort?"

"Are you really asking that?"

He was unable to take a proper breath due to Charon's gaze and he is actually asking that!

"I am talking about any pain or feeling in your mind."

Professor nodded and leaves the room. Ethan was again alone inside room. He can't help but wonder,

'It actually ended up just like that?'

He was expecting some heated discussion or some sharp glare or some threats heck they didn't even try to ask any unfavorable question. A feeling of uneasiness starts creeping over his chest. Things cool down too easily!

"Is it actually the calm before storm?"

Ethan just lies down and closes his eyes. Tomorrow, He needs to go to school. He will take care of troubles when it comes.
