"So, what did you do to piss them off?"

Inside an empty classroom, there were desk stack upon each other like building of cards. Alice was sitting at the highest desk like a queen sitting on her throne. Her hands were resting on her crossed legs and look down on him. Ethan was standing on the ground like servant reporting to his queen.

'Is she going through 'that' period of time?'

From what Ethan has observed about her, She always try to make herself look like a queen. Be it her commanding voice, her relax yet domineering attitude or her way of instinctively looking down on everyone. Then again, it's not without a cause. She is princess of strongest guild in human domain. Their prestige doesn't lose to one of the four families in anyway.

Her father is also one of the weapon master in human domain! Every person who reaches the level of master in human domain is powerhouse of his own!

"Ethan."

"Hmm?"

"I believe I ask you something."

"I have no idea on how I ended up offending them."

She looked at him with pressuring gaze, It will be different if the one doing it is a C-Rank or above but his mental strength is strong enough to ignore anyone above few ranks. Even he have no idea how his mental strength is so strong. At first, He only thought that it is same for everyone but Lucas opened his eyes recently and told him that a rank above person can stop a rank below from moving just by pressure alone.

Seeing that it is not working, she gives up and raises her hand bringing it to chin. Her face looks like she was thinking about something while her lips parts and close few times.

"Well, Good luck."

"You aren't going to help me?"

As she was thinking, Ethan really believes that she might help him in some way. She smiled in amusement as she enjoys his question.

"I believe nor we are close enough neither I owe you something to go out of my way to help you. Am I?"

Her answer is simple, she is telling me 'I see no benefits in helping you, so fuck off!'

Ethan looked at her for some time, seeing she have nothing else to say, Ethan walk forward to leaves the room.

"Wait."

Alice calling him in soft voice, Ethan turn around and looked at her, her smile look like she is watching a clown.

"How about we play a game?"

"I suppose people lives are games for you, isn't it?"

She didn't say anything but keep her previous smile on her face. Ethan doesn't need to hear answer as her smiles scream 'Yes'.

"If you find the main culprit who put you in this situation, then you may ask me for help."

"Is that all?"

"Hmm, all you need to do is to tell me who that student is?"

After few days....

"Tell me who the hell did this?!"

Lucas loud voice rang out in class as he was looking at all the students, behind him there was empty space where Ethan's desk was supposed to rest. This time, they clearly cross the line. Instead of messing with desk, they literally stole it.

Lucas had been coming early recently to catch the culprit at the crime scene but he failed every day. It's been few days and everyday state of desks only got worse and if that was not enough, all empty desks were restricted by student council. Ethan had to clear the desk to sit on it. If that was not enough they actually cut of the legs of chair and put it back in a way that Ethan will fall when he sit on it. He can't complain since all fingers will point at him so he chose to stay silent but they clearly went too far this time!!

"I am asking you guys a question who the hell is it?!"

All the students were silent, they are actually ignorant of the culprit. All students are not included in harassing Ethan. Mostly guys are involved as they are told to make his life as miserable as possible inside the academy but even they have no idea who was brazen enough to steal the desk itself.

Alice enters the class and saw the commotion but she quickly lose her interest as she made her way toward her desk.

"Hey you!"

She raised her head as she feel that voice was pointed toward her. Lucas was looking at her with serious face. She smiled in response.

"Are you talking to me?"

Her words sound simple but she was actually telling him 'Pretending that you are mistaken and I will spare you'.

"Yes you!"

But Lucas being a muscle head he doesn't give a shit about reading between lines. Lucas didn't know about relationship between Ethan and Alice. Ethan didn't tell him in fear of being poison to death. From Lucas POV, Alice is also one of the suspects.

"I remember you harassing my friend in the first week. You aren't going to say that you aren't involved in all this shit happening around him, do you?"

She smiled at him but her eyes were not following her lips.

"I have no idea what are you talking about."

All students were on the edge of the seat, Depending on how this ends up, they may get to watch another battle between Top 10s.
