"Ethan did tell me about your snake like personality. I thought he was exaggerating but I see now you are as slippery as I heard."

Alice smile widen slightly. 'Someone is going to hang up today.'

"I think you have wrong person here, I believe you should calm down and look for right person who is responsible for your 'beloved friend's' suffering."

She knows that Lucas have misunderstanding about her. In all honesty, she wants to put up an arrow in his nose but as an elegant and noble lady she can't fall in same level as this brute so she must handle this situation with calm and intelligent mind.

"I have enough of your bullshit. I challenge you for a ranking battle."

"OHHHO."

Classroom suddenly become noisy as Lucas challenged her. He has enough of her bullshit! He knows that she will dodge every accusation skillfully, all he needed to do is to defeat her and people behind her will obviously show their face.

Of course, it is not like he didn't have any alternative motives. Once he defeated her, she will finally realize her mistake and self-reflect on herself. Once she is done, she will see the one who help her was him. His image inside her mind will become bigger and his chance to seduce her will also go up. Two bird with one stone! He was barely hiding his excitement as he can't let anyone find out about his plan but he himself is not aware from whom he is hiding his intention from.

She smiled and didn't say anything but inside her mind she was thinking about where to aim the arrow that will make him regret messing with her.

Smack.

Door opened and an androgynous figure with black hair comes inside.

Yawn.

He looks sleepy as he makes his way toward Lucas. He stops besides the empty space besides Lucas. He put his hand forward and a desk materializes with chair.

He was tired of this desk thing! Every day it only become worse! In the end, Ethan asks Miss Chloe for keeping his desk in his storage and fortunately she actually agreed.

He made his way to his sit and lay down on desk. He looked up at his friend and asked lazily.

"You sure are fired up today."

Pfftt.

A laugh rang out in class. Ethan bent sidewise and sees Adam laughing his life out. His vision shifted and saw Alex's shoulder was shaking as his back faced him.

Haaa.

It didn't take long for whole class to start laughing. Ethan was clearly surprised by this development. A wry smile on his lips. He looked at Lucas and asked.

"Did I fall in some prank?"

"NO! YOU MAKE MY LIFE A PRANK, YOU BASTARD!"

Lucas grab his collar and bring him face to face with his, His face wore a titan expression as he asked.

"What the hell are you doing?!!"

"That's something I should be asking!"

Ethan felt a pair of eyes on him. He tilted his head and caught a wheat blonde lady looking at him with smile. Her lips parted and form some words with no sound but Ethan face paled as he mouthed her words.

'You're dead.'

Ethan knows that shit went down today and interesting thing is, he have no idea what's his fault.

Today is last day of this month and academy as next month is summer vacation.

For past days, Ethan has done nothing but class to dorm and dorm to class. He even shifted his body and sword swinging training to his room. He just somehow managed it.

There were really some threat filled message and some honey coated poisonous message in his I-Link but he choose ignore them all for his safety.

Lucas called him this time and said that he promised he won't kill him but later added he will just satisfy himself with just removing nails.

Both of them were sitting on windows of a random classroom.

"Where do you live, Ethan?"

"I have a place. You can call it 'my lair'."

Actually, he doesn't have it anymore but he doesn't want to take advantage of Lucas too much. It will later turn into habit so he chose to not get into details.

"Ohh, Let's exchange contact then. I will call you to hang out with me, you will come, right?"

"As long as you pay."

Academy I-Link are not useful outside the academy, we exchange contact on our personal I-Link. Lucas has a smug look on his face at the mention of money.

"Money is the one thing I don't lack."

"I wish it was same for your brain."

Lucas sent a light punch toward him. It hit him but it stings as he didn't put his back on it.

"I am going to pack my stuff. Have a nice holiday."

He leaves for his dorm. Ethan smiled as he locked at his friend's back.

'Having a friend is not bad.'

Ethan was asked about friends. He will say he is completely alienated with it. He was always alone…alone in a dark place with no one.

After some time, He also leaves to pack his stuff. Students can leave after 2:00 p.m. presently its 1:00 p.m.

It didn't take long for clock to hit 2:00 p.m. Ethan didn't have much stuff in the first place so he was already done and was taking a last look at his room.

After half an hour, Ethan leaves his room making his way toward entrance.

Drip. Drip.

Dark clouds cover the sky and light rain wet the ground in front of him. He frowned as he looked above.

'Screw Umbrella. It's not like I hate rain.'

Ethan start running through rain as if he wants to outrun it.

Entrance feels in sight and his speed starts slowing down. His speed slow down and down until it into walking. His head lowered slightly. There were many faces with expecting expression standing with umbrellas in their hand outside the entrance of academy. All of them were waiting for their child, sibling or their relatives.

Ethan felt his breathing becoming heavy as if to accompany it, rain also became heavier. His chest trembles and feels cold as water seeps into his clothes from his shoulder and makes its way to his chest. Ethan didn't raise his head but he can feel their gazes on him. It is like hundreds of eyes were looking at him from front even though his head is lowered. These eyes are not filled with malice or hatred or any feeling that can hurt other, feeling that he is used to but…..filled with excitement and anticipation to meet their loves ones.

Ethan knows that there is no one who will look at him with the same gaze or wait for him like that. He knows....always knows but.....

"YOU DON'T DESERVE IT!!"

Ethan's head lowered further when a scream rang from behind. He stopped completely on his feet and turned around furiously but found nothing. Rain covered his face and traces along his nose as he starts walking forward, which turn into running as he walk further. He just wants to get out of this place as soon as possible!

Everyone turn their head at him as he ran past them but lose their interest when they caught his face. Since it's not their relative, they see no reason to pay any attention. They are more worried about missing their child in this heavy rain.

Alice was also one of them. She was just going inside her black car when her eyes caught sight of him running along road trying to outrun the rain.

Her butler was standing with an umbrella besides her. He also looked in same direction as her when he notices her staring. He was a man in his thirties with black hair and black suit with a black umbrella covering his face. Butler asked her as she was staring at him.

"A friend?"

She just shakes her head. Even though two of them know each other but that doesn't mean she considers him as a friend and she also remembers that he doesn't want to get associate with her.

She still stared at him until his figure vanishes into horizon. For some reason, his back looked really lonely today.
