Two young men are standing in front of a dungeon portal. Blue light of circular portal are brightening the dark cell they are located in.

"…Damn, is it real true?"

"…Rumor about the survivor of the Alastar Incident?"

Alastar Incident, an incident where an S-Rank Dungeon Break occurred. S-Rank or above Dungeons only opens rarely by probability rate of 1.2% in a year. But when it happens, it became the focus of Human Domain and all organization and guild joins hands to clear it.

Alastar Incident was real shame of all grand organizations of Human domain. When Dungeon opened, no one was able to found it and once 168 hours passed, a week in total, Dungeon Breaks and a real hell descended on Earth…

S-Rank or above Dungeons carried kingdom of monsters that have population in hundreds of thousands. No one survived the 100km square of that area. It was so brutal that smell of blood and rotten flesh still spread far in that area, even though it already been half a year. It left a huge dark shadow in heart of every human in Human Domain.

Alastar was a part of Ciders city where an S-Rank dungeon breaks underground the café called Lamentar Café. There is a rumor going about that there was a survivor of that incident who was going around hunting people of the organization responsible for it.

MonoChrome. It is strongest criminal organization in Human Domain, bearing strength on par with Ataraxia, the central government. Ataraxia releases an official statement later that MonoChrome and one of its leader named Circe are responsible for this incident though no one ever bother with it as everyone hatred is directed toward Ataraxia.

"…So, the rumors are really true?"

"…I don't know…It's just the rumor that someone survived it there is no proof about it…it sounds more like a story from a novel."

"…Then you should know what happens to people like you in the novel?"

A voice resounded from behind. Both of them try to turn around but were unable to as they freeze at their feet. A look of horror crossed on both of their face as they understand their situation. They have been ambushed!!

A teenager comes out their shadow and stands behind them. They looked at the teenager from the corner of their eyes that look no more than 15. He has black hair and black eyes in which darkness flickers with coldness. He looked at the man who asked above the rumors.

"…It is indeed right. I am a survivor of that dungeon break incident on hunt for people who are responsible for it."

His voice was calm, betraying any hint of emotion. His eyes were filled with fury that wants nothing more than tear them apart and boil them alive.

He stretched his hands and silver lightning crackle around his arm. He killed two of them and hit the wall behind. This place is a working factory but it is nothing more than a sham to hide the branch of a small criminal organization.

Adam has been chasing them down and killing all the members of any criminal organizations he can found just to find the clue for Circe. Just thinking about her name makes him want to scream in anger. That woman was the one who was responsible for the dungeon break…

Adam was nothing more than an ordinary boy who lived a poor yet easy life. His father was just a poor truck driver who only comes home once in a week. Adam dislikes it but he didn't have much choice because of their financial condition. He was not actually alone though. He had friends in neighborhood and lots of them at that...They all play together and have fun by pulling mistakes like ringing the neighbor bells and running or stealing fruits from their friends shop and lot more mischief.

But one day everything change…Adam and his friends were playing hide and seek when a golden flare shine like a sun in the sky. Human Domain had established emergency signal that tells the rank of dungeon and golden flare clearly indicated the S-Rank but being kids they were…they didn't pay much attention and that led to a tragedy that become a scar of his life that he will regret every night.

That was also the day where he lost his love of his life…the girl he loved, the girl who he adored, the girl who he missed…

A system notification comes up in front of him. Adam looked at notification screen that pop out of nowhere. He released a heavy breath and whispered in low voice.

"…System."

He tapped onto inventory and then taps onto potions.

Adam closes his eyes and enjoyed the feeling of increase mana recovery of his body. His whole body relaxed whenever he used it as whole body greedily sucked in atmosphere mana inside it.

When he was almost gotten eaten by a monster, a bright light exploded between the monster's mouth and him. He somehow found himself in an entirely different place then he was to. He was lying down on grassy ground looking up at a sky with triple sun. A screen was hanging in front of his vision telling him that he met the requirement to become a host of this system.

It was actually a dungeon…An F-Rank Dungeon. With the help of system, it took him six months to go from G- Rank to G+ Rank. It was all he needed to clear the dungeon with his strength.

He comes out of it and found about what happened. He looked through the incident and found that not a single soul had survived!

[Host has fully recovered his mana]

Adam looked at the notification and stands up. He already killed everyone inside the factory and now he wants to go this dungeon and look for the leader of this branch. It is an F-Rank Dungeon so no one above F-Rank should be present here.

All Dungeon portals repel the entry of someone stronger than their rank. On the contrary, someone weaker can enter any dungeon of higher rank without any trouble…ignoring the fact, he will be killed by creatures inside…

Leader of this branch should be around F+ Rank. He had no problem to deal with anyone below E- Rank and he even believes that he would have no trouble winning against E- Rank as long as he is alone.

Adam went inside the portal and space warps around him. He comes out of the other side portal and extended his hand on both sides in cross manner.

Two man protecting dungeon turns toward him but they didn't get much time to think anything as a lightning blast and fire blast hit both of them simultaneously. Fire and Lightning blasts pass through their upper body, leaving nothing but their abdomen and torso…

Adam looked around and found out that he was in a small room with just portal at the center and around 5m away a door. When it comes to creating bases inside a dungeon, it is common practices to create bases around the portal.

Adam knows that he is in inside their bases but them?

He does not think so….

His Magic Arts gives him two of basic spells. One is close combat spells, like Lightning Art gives him Lightning blade while Fire Art gives him Fire Punch and Darkness Art gives him shadow walking.

This spell become stronger as his proficiency increases as his shadow walking letting him hide inside the shadow at beginner, now at proficient, it let him move between shadows. His spells become stronger and more potent as his proficiency increases.

Other spells he got, are basic attacks like fire blast and lightning blast that can attack as long as 10m while dark lock stops the targets movement. His AOE spells only hold strength and destruction. All of them are strong of enough for him to be able to fight E-Rank on equal footing.

All in All, Adam is pretty much undefeatable in same rank! It's impossible for him to be defeated in same rank regardless of strength and qualities! His strength gives him confidence to raid a criminal base all alone!

Adam bent toward the half-missing corpses and search through it. He didn't found any key so he just took their spatial bracelet and went toward the door that was lock from the other sides.

He knocked it few times and held his hand on the square peephole which opened by someone from other side. Adam released a fire blast right inside the peephole!

A blast of flames released from the peephole right at the peeper face, removing his upper part of face. His body fells backward and everyone in the other side of remove become stunned. They didn't even what happened when the door suddenly explode forward and hit the wall.

Their heads turns toward the door then again toward the doorframe. A teenager was standing there looking at them with a sneer. He waved his hand and a wave of fire release from it.

They hurriedly tried to defend it but it was all naught as wave of fire pass through them and their body suffer through continuous explosion! Continuous Explosions were so strong that even room was shaking visibly!

Sound of explosion and scream filled the room with ear-screeching noise. They were five of them but none of them were able to do anything as continuous explosion chip through their body turning it into a charred corpse…

Adam looked at scene without any emotion. He knows that they are not the one responsible for that incident but he knows that they are not entirely guilt-free. There is a good reason why they have to hide inside this dungeon so he didn't think much of their death. If world have few less scum, then it is all for better.

He moved out of the room and found himself standing in a long hall. There were two doors in opposite wall and two turns on left or right side at the end of the hall. Adam assumed that base arranged.

Adam checked the first room and another batch of mobs where playing cards. They were five of them but all he had to do is to release a wave of fire and kill them all. None of them were able to resist even for a second and died painfully!

All of them may have practiced an Advance Art at best. Their spell activation or body strengthening will take too much time to be able to put up some defense against him while his spell activates instantly so it unless they dump him with number. They can't even stand against a single spell of him.

Adam circles around the square hall with multiple doors. He opened a random door and found a mutilated body, twitching over the surgery table in the center of the room. Blood was spilled below the ground like water out of bucket.

His face turns sour as the twitching body. He enters the room and looked at body. His eyes were blood shot and trembling from the unbearable pain. Adam was unable to even discern its gender.

"I am sorry."

He stretched his trembling hand toward the chair and released a fire blast, killing the guy before he can even fell the pain.

Adam looked through all seven rooms and circle around the square hall. He found three more rooms of these mobs but none of them were able to put up any resistance against him.

On the other side of the square hall from the portal, there were stairs to upper floors. He had estimated that it won't have more than three floors. Dungeon Bases have general design of three or four floors and 500 feet area.

Adam has killed them all instantly. So, it's unlikely for people on upper floors to be aware of him but he still believes that they have been suspecting or already figure out about his presence.
