Storm Explosion

Adam climbs through the stairs another hall, that is likely square hall, greeted him. He used some mana recovery potion through system as he climbed. He can currently use seven times of his AOE spells so he needs to be careful as he need some time before recovering his mana.

[Host has fully recovered his mana]

He climbs toward the stairs but fall back as his skill warned him. Multiple element attacks passed in front of his vision as they travel the hall.

[Sharp Intuition]

One of his skill, He found out that unlike other he doesn't have any limit when it comes to skill. A person can have only one skill of n rank. That's the reason why people mostly avoid taking skill as they save their slots for better one they will found in future.

Adam doesn't have limit as he can just upgrade his skill rank! When he will reach S-Rank, he will have multiple S-Rank skill while other will have only one! That's alone makes him look forward to his strength at high level!!

He possessed three skills currently, Sharp Intuition that warns him of danger and opportunity though it works passively and with its own will…once in ten times...but it have save his life too many times so he never regret buying it!

Adam jumped forward and ran in the hall toward the direction from which attack come from. In front of him, where two swords and spear user while there were two magicians, whose hands were covered in wind and fire, standing behind them preparing for another attack.

Weapon user charged toward him with roars. Adam didn't back off as he looked at them. He looked at their stance and predict their slashes and stabs trajectory. He went closer and both sword strikes while he dodges their attacks by turning left and right. The spear user stabbed him from the other side but he just pushed himself backward to dodge his stab.

He extended his hand forward and blasted the spear user with a lightning blast. His lightning blast carries speed while fire blast carries explosion. Spear user strengthened his body but it was futile as lightning blasted his body and turned his upper body into charred corpse.

Adam grabbed the body and spins around to gain momentum. He throws his body toward the two swordsmen who were caught off guard by unexpected death of their comrade. They have hard time digesting the spear user's death.

They were actually mocking this fool for fighting a weapon user at close range but one of them died right after first exchange! They were still recovering from shock when his corpse hit them straight, disturbing the balance of their body and pushing them back.

They looked up and noticed Adam swiping his hand in air. A wave of fire released from his hand and move toward them.

Magician behind them panicked! They almost finished their AOE spell but suddenly their opponent release his AOE spell instantly! Only those who have reached Advance level in their Art are able to cast their spells instantly! And the one standing in front of them is just a teenager! How is it possible?!

Their thoughts didn't stretch too far before as fire waves engulfed him. Continuous explosions engulfed them in the blasts of fire as they stood at the place screaming in pain which were drowned by sounds of explosion.

Adam turns around to look behind. He saw three magicians released their AOE spells inside the narrow hall, filling the whole hall with elemental attack. Adam looked behind and ran toward the room and jump inside it.

Adam looked outside the door as elemental attacks passed across the hall. Adam wants to save his mana in case of big fish. Up until now, all of them were F- Rank while current attack was F Rank. Adam isn't worried about losing to them but he still need to be careful when it come mana usage.

Adam comes out and instead of running toward them he ran toward other end of the hall. He took the left turn at the corner of the hall. Magicians who attacked him split on both sides to pincer him inside the same hall he went to right away. Few more joins them from both sides as they heard the commotion.

Adam noticed a weapon user around 10m away from him. They also noticed him and charged toward him. Adam is good with close-, mid- and long range simultaneously though he would love to just blast his opponent with his long range…

Both of them clashed while first one attacked with hammer, instead of dodging his attack, Adam prepare his fire punch on the way and meet him head on with his fire punch and strike the hammer face.

Boom.

An explosive resounded as hammer was blown backward along with its user. Adam didn't give him a chance and jump forward. He stabs his chest, right at his heart, with lightning blade and sat above him.

Adam raised his head and noticed three magicians and two warrior on other end of the hall. They were busy casting their AOE spells from the look of it. Adam has a look of disdain on his face. If they want, they can helped their comrade and distract him from killing him but they chose to use him to buy time to cast their spell.

Adam uses Fire Waves as he swiped his hand toward them. Fire Waves released at the same time, they also release their attack. His Fire Waves were subdued by their joint water waves. Adam jumped inside the room right behind him.

A group of four people enters the hall right after some time, only to be greeted by waves of water. It crash in the wall behind. One of the people just might be hallucinating when he just heard a disturbing sound echoed similar to electricity.

Streams of lightning travels through the wet floor, covered with thin layer of water, like snakes streaming inside a pond. It wrapped around four of them and shocked their innards, knocking them out in cold water. Adam was standing with hand covering in tendrils of lightning.

Adam ignored them and ran toward other side of the hall, from where attacks come from. He didn't forget to release to a Fire Waves toward them which passes through them and continuous explosion covers their whole body.

While this commotion was going down, upper floor where preparing for defense. They had already figured out that whoever attacker is strong...really strong! They can tell from the vibration whole building was going through by his attack after-effect.

Leader of this branch was anxious but not scared as he had already prepared the way to deal with him. He had E-Rank mana bombs inside the floor carpet. He would stand in front of him, waiting in front of door. He would come inside and attack him and he would have all mana bombs explode right below him. It will either do a lot of damage or he either fall down below which leave him open to his all his attack from above floor. He will attack at the hole inside the floor and kill him right away.

Wall keeps shaking and vibrating sending tremor to his feet. He can feel it with his whole body which also vibrates along the walls. He has no idea why this intruder attacked him or if had a personal grudge against him but the moment he attacked he write his own death in his diary!

Walls finally stop shaking and bone chilling silence had engulfed the whole building. Leader was standing just 13m away from the door, tapping his foot anxiously. He wants to go down to check but he was worried about it being trap. He called one of his subordinate hidden inside the room with his hand signal.

His subordinate face turns ugly, he does need to tell him to know what he was going to ask him for, but he knows now is not the situation for it. So, he grumbly agreed with checking.

He went toward the door and stands in front of it. He grabs the knob and tension covered his whole body. He twisted the knob and tightens his grip around knob. His other hand held his long knife in case of emergency. Actually, He already had channeled his mana for an attack.

The leader and his other subordinate hidden inside the room tensed up. They are all predicting that door will explode the moment he opened it. They were holding breath in their chest, waiting for him to open door. Time seems to be drawing long as he slowly twisted his hand.

Click.

He furiously opened the door. Everyone inside the room tensed up and pick up their weapon and channel magic.

"…There is no one."

Everyone relaxed, hearing his words. Someone wants to curse him for taking so long to open a goddamn door but they held it in because they know Leader will punish him in his own way.

"…Go check down."

The man close to door turned silent at the order. He knows that he is only going to die if he went down right now. He would love to believe that the intruder died but someone would have come up to tell them.

It only means one thing that all of them are died without a doubt. There is a chance intruder might have died while fighting their people down below but chance of it happening is so low that he can't believe it himself.

"…What are you waiting for?"

Thunder.

Sound of cloud explosion resonated the whole building with a tremble. Leader frowns as he found this a bad premonition of something ominous. He orders the man at the door to go down again.

"…Did you not hear me first time?! I said go and check-"

Boom.

He was in the half way in the speech when a bolt of lightning pierced the roof above him and hit him straight! Lightning pinned him down and pushed him on the floor, creating a small crater. It was all, but a prelude for following destruction!

Multiple lightning bolts falls from the sky like an arrow and explode at the contact. Whole roof was gone before too long as dark clouds covering the blue sky become visible from that floor.

Lightning bolts keeps falling from the sky as whole building starts falling down floor by floor and hit ground. A three story building has nothing left but concrete walls, wall-missing-rooms and broken and fragmented furniture…

Adam comes out of the shadow by using it to soften his landing from the roof. Adam already knows that they were preparing a trap from him. He used shadow walking to climb the wall and reach the roof. Sun was blooming outside so he has no trouble using shadows of the building to travel above the roof.

He reached the roof and used his strongest move right above it. Adam was feeling frustrated for not being able to use his strongest move. His fire blast might be stronger than lightning blast but when it comes to AOE spell, his Storm Explosion triumphs over all the other spells in existence by its destruction!

He looked around, trying to see if someone was alive or not. He is not going to take chances with it as their acting has cost him heavily. He killed them all and approached their leader carefully. His body was nothing in any shape to fight. There was large burnt hole around his shoulder while he was twitching continuously due to lightning dancing around his body.

"…Where is the file?"

"…"

"…I said where the hell file is?"

"Arghh."

Adam stomps on his ankle, bending his foot in unmovable angle.

"…Kill me."

"Tch…"

Adam clicked his tongue at his demand. He has no intention of torturing them as he found this action no different than them. He stretched his hand and took their spatial bracelet. He turns around and leaves to collect other people bracelet he killed inside.

The leader looking at his back moving away from him. It made him relax his body. He can't believe that Adam had spared him! He thought he will die that's why he held onto his last dignity who knows that it will save his life! It's not like he will actually open his mouth in first place...he was just looking at the easy way to die.

A blinding light flash on the sky as he looked at it while lying on the ground. His eyes narrowed and then closed since blinding light was too much for his tired eyes. Blinding light ends and he suddenly found it hard to breathe and empty feeling took over his chest. He looked down and found a huge whole on his chest, joining the hole in shoulder! It had destroyed his heart and lungs together, creating a large charred hole!
