The Bet(1)

After our two idiotic irish duos defeat Hazel in the Boss area, they return back to the man's base if there is any loot, but only find nothing except an almost naked woman who seemed to be a prisoner but just recently escaped.

After a small interrogation, it is confirmed she is a wife of the male adventurer the two found.

Afterwards, the trio return to the male adventurer, to the two couples reunion. After that, the four then return back to the Overworld having enough on traveling the Dungeon.

As of now, when they made it out, first they reported this to Seksual Bond, which to his and the guards surprise, and so they immediately reported this to the Guild while Brian, Nogla said goodbye to the Adventurer couples.

After they part ways, Brian and Nogla tried to go to the portal only for no signs of it. They've been told that it is currently rebuilding in the Guild because of some issues. While Terroriser felt stressed, it gave a reply to Nogla who doesn't like to experience space sickness again.

Leaving no choice, the two went to a small town nearby, they also heard there is a Transport Station, and best of all, its Airships.

After doing numerous things like shopping, getting some drinks, or resting in an Inn, slept for the night, the duo went to the station the next day, rode one Airship and flew back to the city.

An hour later, the two made it to the city. 

In the scene, the two once again roam through the main street in the city of Fionire leading towards the Adventurer Guild which was currently buzzing with noise and voices.

No, that was the usual situation, there wasn't anything strange about it. Except that today it seemed somehow different, different because people stopped and were gossiping about something, some were quietly whispering into the ears of those close to them to see the latter widening its eyes.

Even though Terroriser and Nogla found the atmosphere quite strange they decided to continue, whatever had happened has nothing to do with them. So, they thought. However, soon their assumption would be proven to be false.

When Terroriser and Nogla entered the guild it was crowded as usual but today the atmosphere was somehow different than usual. It was the same atmosphere as the two witnesses earlier.

The two continued advancing but curiosity got the better of them, stretching his ears Brian tried to listen to the gossiping Adventurers.

"Man you'll never believe what happened yesterday," Said one of the Adventurers.

"What happened? Quickly share it. When coming here I noticed the unusual atmosphere all over the city." The other one urged the other to quickly share what he knew.

Chuckling the Adventurer started explaining what happened yesterday not forgetting to spice things up a little.

"You know, yesterday a criminal organization was reported to have somehow made a base in one of the Dungeons that is possessed by the Guild. They were discovered because they were raided."

"Fuck those trashes to thinks that something like this was inside one of the Dungeons that the Guild holds. Tell me who raided this damn organization." Another Adventurer asked.

"What I've heard is two F-rank Adventurers, I don't really know their identity but I do know their ranks."

The nearby Adventurer's eyes turned rounder when they heard the man.

"What? Only two F-rank Adventurers? They must be strong then." Another Adventurer said after a moment of pondering.

"Really strong, they've beaten fifty members and most of them were Rank 2 or 3 by themselves. Their Boss is a peak-stage Rank 4, although not that too impressive, but I've heard he is a former Republican General, a former member of the Church of the Rising Sun, and the Guildmaster's step-brother I heard." The Adventurer added.

All nearby Adventurers sucked a mouthful of air while inwardly praising whoever did this. 

"They've even saved a female Adventurer and I heard it is Lakyus herself."

"No fucking way! THE Lakyus! She is one of the famous E-rank adventurers and a face of a beauty! To think someone saved a woman like her is a very lucky man."

"Wait, didn't you forget she already has a fiance? That Baron's son?"

"Oh yeah, I wondered why she is in love with that low rank noble. I just don't get it!"

"Chill man, he got the bitches, and we will accept it." Says the Adventurer as he raises his drink and closes his eyes in acknowledgement. Followed by his other comrades.

Listening to the whole thing, Terroriser chuckles at them, but their behavior gives them his respect.

He then glanced at Nogla, the latter had a blank expression on his face as if lost in thoughts but if you look closely you could see that his lips were curved upward, he was fighting a grin.

"Let's go," Terroriser said, bringing his friend  out of his stupor, nodding his head as he followed him.

However, Brian had not taken his third when he almost stripped down, what the Adventurer said caught him off guard.

"Although you guys thought the savior didn't get the girl. I've heard people surnamed the mysterious duo, the 'Pussy Destroyer',."

"What!? No way! If they get that name, does that mean they did the thing on Lakyus!?"

"Fortunately, no, they got the name because investigators reported there is a burnt steel plate that says Pussy Destroyer, don't know who named it."

"But there is indeed another steel plate that says 'My Dick'."

"Pfft, hahahaha!!" Nogla couldn't control himself any longer so he started laughing, all nearby Adventurers glanced at him seeing his unusual behavior, nevertheless, he must have his reason for laughing, shaking their heads they returned gossiping.

"Really Nogla? You named one of our strongest Rocket Launchers in our supplies 'My Dick'?" Asked Terroriser with a frown.

"Oh come on! I've heard you named the Hellsing ARMS Casull 'Horse's Dong'." Nogla countered.

Nogla continued smiling as the two went toward the receptionist's counter. Suddenly, the two heard another adventurer speaking to them in a mocking voice.

"Look it seems that the Retard over there has finally become fully crazy. He laughs without any reason. Poor petty soul."

'Who's that motherfucker?' Terroriser asked himself before looking at his nametag and... 'Fuck me.'

"Pfft hahaha! He must be treated, maybe he didn't have money, should we lend him some?" One of his men, who appears to be blonde and extremely bulky, asked.

Chuckling, the Adventurer named Mini crossed his arms and put on a pondering expression as he replied, "Maybe, but nah I don't want to help that dumbass because he's a foul-mouthed junior."

"Nogla, what did you do to pissed them off?" Terroriser leaned into his friend, crossed his arms and questioned him coldly.

Holding his chin, Nogla tries to recall, "Hmm..."

Then, flashbacks of Nogla beating Mini and his men in a poker game on a loud night. For hours, Nogla keeps winning and keeps taking all of their money while being drunk.

"R-Read it and weep, bitches! *burp!*"

After taking his 21th drink, Nogla climbs on top of the table, turns around and looks at the crowd.

"Alright y'alll, bieches! All drenks on me!!"

"""Woooo!"""

The whole drunken crowd cheers as a massive party erupts in the Guild. Multiple scenes flashes with Nogla drinking so much alcohol, fist fighting with the Guildmaster, and even making out with the Harpy Receptionist.

As the Flashback ended, Nogla in the scene still tries to remember back then.

"Uhhhhh... I have no idea." He said, very clueless.

Noticing his not lying, Brian sighs, " Whatever, let's go."

Nodding his head, Nogla followed after him. Mini clicked his tongue in annoyance because his little trick had not worked.

When the two approached Sophia's counter, th3 receptionist's mood brightened especially when she spotted a smiling Nogla.

"Welcome you two." She greets happily before turning her gaze at Nogla, "Mr. Nogla, I'm happy to see you."

"Morning... uhh, I forgot your name though."

"It's okay."

As the two converse, Terroriser looks at between the two, he looks at Sophia who seemed kinda acting sus to Nogla, thanks to his robotic powers, analysing her expression and knew the meanings behind it quite easily. And when he looked at Nogla, surprisingly his expression seemed normal, nothing similar to the receptionist that seemed to be thirsty towards his friend.

'Tomorrow, I'm definitely taking Nogla back to the boys and out of this city, especially from this thirsty receptionist, hope his wife doesn't get mad from this. I got a bad feeling there will also be a romance in this story, or worse, ecchi or harem, the worst of the kind! If it's true, then I've promised that I will protect my brothers from this world of chaos!' Terrorier thought to himself with a look of determination.

Smiling, Brian also greeted, "Morning, Sophia."

"Good morning, Sir Brian. I hope you have a great time in the Dungeons."

"Ah, it's kinda great. It's like playing Monster Hunter but with only guns."

"Oh, I see..." Sophia said with a confused look, having no clue what Brian just said. For a moment, she then recalled something, "Oh, I almost forgot, the Guildmaster has read your records on several quests even in the Dungeon recently and says you guys have the potential to become E-rank Adventurers."

""Really?"" Brian and Nogla said in unison.

"Yes, however, you will also be taking the E-rank examination together first before becoming an official E-rank Adventurer." She said with a smile.

""Nice!"" The two high five on each other, but also surprised, they first thought it would take months to reach that far, but none of them had not thought they would soon be an E-rank Adventurer for just a week.

On the other hand, the Receptionist was also astonished by this as well. She smiled as she thought these two were an interesting fellow.

Suddenly, someone shouted, this person was furious by the news of Terroriser and Nogla becoming E-rank Adventurers.

"This is bullshit! I refuse to accept this. How can these idiots become E-ranks just after registering just almost a week ago? They must have cheated!" Mini Ludd shouted not believing in the news.

"Stop it, Sir Ludd. One must have all the information before contesting a decision you just heard. It's true that the two just recently became an Adventurer but they have completed several risky quests that not even a normal G or F-rank could take. Just yesterday, it was reported that they defeated three Spider Knights in an F-rank Dungeon, and Breezy Wolves, hundred Breezy Wolves to be exact." A burly Adventurer explained after stopping Ludd.

"What?" Mini Ludd and his men asked, eyes filled with disbelief.

"That's not all. They even killed an E-rank Goblin Warrior in their first quest, something only Rank 4 experts could face alone. So, it was normal that these boys would get promoted. So, stop saying something stupid before its too late. The guild master will not go easy on you if you continue to question a decision he has taken." The burly Adventurer warned.

Mini Ludd and his men's expression turned gloomy as they glared at Terroriser and Nogla who really weren't paying attention eventually, the latter smiled in response.

Infuriated Ludd announced, "Fine I understand but, the future E-ranks wouldn't mind fighting against a poor E-rank Adventurer will they? I provoke them into a duel. I dare you all to accept it. You can refuse but that will prove that you guys are nothing, just a bunch of lucky dudes."

The other Adventurers' eyes shined when they heard Ludd provoking the boys to a duel. An interesting show was about to happen.

Terroriser who's attention was on his phone smiled after hearing Ludd's provocation, truth be told he had become somehow fed up with the man, he was planning to teach him a lesson but he didn't know how, but who would have thought that the man in question would deliver himself on a silver plate to be sliced. How funny.

Before Terroriser could respond, Nogla approached him and whispered something into his ear, Brian at first frowned before suddenly smiling sadistically after hearing his words.

"Okay, we accept, let's proceed to the arena!" Terroriser accepted with a mysterious smile.

Even though Ludd and his men felt that something was wrong especially after seeing the smiling Brian whose face held no fear they still decided to continue. Everybody went to the arena section in the Guild, the arena however was surprisingly huge, about the same size as a football field.

Many Adventurers were ready to watch a good show. The bolder ones started betting on the winner.
