The Bet(2)
In another room of the Adventurers Guild was a huge arena, about almost the size as a football field, around it stood a crowd.
Currently, Terroriser and Nogla were facing the Four adventurers that had picked a fight with them. Well, their leader has. To be accurate it was a duel.
"Heh, it's too late now. Even if you guys have some skills, we won't forgive you even if you start crying." One of Ludd's men, the huge bulky armored guy, sneered looking at Brian. Terroriser just glanced at him, not bothering to answer his provocation.
Mini Ludd held a black sword in his hand with the design that seemed like the night sky while threatening the two. An armored man called Gargantua held a huge hammer about two meters high. The remaining two adventurers seemed to be twins both wielding daggers respectively as they looked at the two and grinned through their face masks. Even though they are assassins, one of them also carries a crossbow.
The adventurers, including residents of the city gathered at a distance while curiously looking at our two idiotic main characters and the other Four. Sophia, a few receptionists, was on the front row with Sophia doing her best not to show how concerned she was. But then, she turned to a figure in the distance, arms crossed.
'Seems like the Guildmaster is interested in this.' Sophia thought to herself.
Panning back to the arena, Terroriser and Nogla exchanged a glance before Brian started smiling. It was time to start their plan.
"Well, Sir Mini Lewd. Why don't we make a bet?"
"A bet?" Ludd, urged Alex to continue while blue veins appeared on his forehead at the disgraceful name he just received.
By the way, even the onlookers who heard the name were trying not to smile and laugh at it. Everyone shut up when his party member Gargantua glared at the surroundings.

"Oh? Are you scared?" Says one of the twin assassins with a sneer.
"Nah, not really, the fight is kinda boring for me so I'll let my friend Nogla fight the four of you at the same time. If you beat him, I'll face you, and if you win again that's right, let's say you'll receive this."
He then took a bag of gold coins from his Inventory before placing a golden statue of a villager with emerald eyes and added it to the bag of gold coins.
"Gentlemen, this right here is a Resurrection Item."
Everybody present's eyes widened when they heard Terroriser's words, even the Guildmaster in the far distance was surprised for a moment before starting to smile.
Sophia meanwhile panicked when she heard Nogla was going to fight against those four at the same time. Even though she knew Nogla was strong especially with his strange equipment, she still felt worried because even if the four weren't strong they are still above normal people, besides Mini Ludd was the leader of the E-rank Adventurer group [Dark Rose], and not just that, people also calls him the 'Cursed Knight' due to his main weapon [Kilineiram], a powerful

It became noisy when Terroriser explained. Not only that, some onlookers knew magic items to some extent Resurrection Items are costly, only powerful families or powerful organizations, especially the royal families in kingdoms could possess one. Even the lowest ranked Resurrection Items costs more than a mansion. So, it was not strange for them to get noisy when they saw the value of the goods such as the Totem of Undying that Terroriser had displayed.
Seeing this, Ludd's eyes burned with naked greed still he put on a doubting expression as he shouted angrily.
"Don't bullshitting with me! You're just a novice adventurer who registered recently. How were you able to own these things? Don't try to cheat us with scams!"
Hearing Ludd's angry voice made some people in the crowd nod their heads sharing the same thought as him. It wasn't for no reason. Aside from the cash, there was the Resurrection Item that could revive or escape from death. If you bought them, it would be worth a hundred thousand Euros, millions of Euros might be necessary depending on the capacity of the Item in question. After all, Resurrection Items were a very rare product, the same as Resurrection spells.
Knowing this, Brian looked haughtily at the Four people in front of him.
"Whether or not it is the real thing, feel free to judge if you beat my idiotic friend. No, let's do this shit. I'll ask our supervisor to confirm it."
Saying this Terroriser placed the item in Sophia's hands then whispers.
"Don't touch my friend, you thot!" He said silently before leaving.
Sophia did not immediately understand why he did that, however, she finally understood the reason why he did it.
'Don't tell me... no way! I thought those s-stories were just fiction!' Sophia thought of it while a blush appeared in her cheeks.
But on the outside, she looked at the Item with a frown with a slight red on her cheek.
"Certainly I have confirmed the item. The Resurrection Item is indeed authentic."
After hearing Sophia's confirmation the crowd became noisy again while Ludd's eyes were burning with greed.
"Well, since I took out articles of this level, you guys have to put out something of equal value. Don't you think so?" Terroriser asked.

There was a long silence. Ludd and his men were silent after hearing Terroriser's words, this was natural, though. After all, Ludd himself was only an E-rank Adventurer. This was the first time he had seen a Resurrection Item for real, there was no way he would have goods of equal value. However, even though he was made into a fool in front of the crowd and other Adventurers, something he likes to do, not to be at the receiving end, he could only glare at Terroriser with murderous eyes.
How would you have thought that these fellows, especially the retarded man who make out with his crush that night was this rich, had miscalculated. Ludd thought, cursing at his miscalculation.

Therefore, I'll allow you to bet everything you have right now. You should have something if you came to celebrate the achievement of your quest right?"
Hearing Brian's words, Ludd's eyes became more murderous while the crowd rolled their eyes while thinking 'Generous soul my ass, you just want to rob them clean. What's generous in that?'
The reason why Terroriser make this move was that he had been informed of Ludd's recent success, the four had amassed a petite fortune, also because they like to often brag after drinking few cups they let slip that they like to have all their money on their person in case someone may go stole them if they left it in their Inn. Well, Nogla gave him this information, how he learned it Terroriser never asked nor he plans to.
Finally, after struggling for a while Ludd spoke, "All right I accept."
Terroriser smiled and finally the fish took the bet.
