Elder Zy'tl Q'ae(1)

After escaping a horde of walking trees, the team had reached the northern portion of the forest section of the dungeon, unaware that this is where the final boss dwelled. As they step forward more, their surroundings gradually change. It changes into a desolate field of withered trees and other plant life. As far as they could see, most of the forest's trees were bereft of leaves and the ground itself was covered in blonde grass rather than the healthy green grass they were used to seeing in other portions of the forest.

Littering the ground were leaves from all the trees as if it were in late autumn. Many of the leaves on the ground were dry and shriveled and had turned color away from a healthy shade of green. It was clear they had been on the floor of the forest for some time. The group's heavy footsteps left a crunching sound wherever they walked as the layers of decaying leaves were compressed beneath their weight.

"What is this place?" Draila seemed disturbed by the sight of the withering plant life. To her, it was like viewing an open burial pit.

"It definitely looks like the trees are dying." Sokushi said, "I think we're close to the Boss, but where is it?"

"I think it's ahead. At the center of the desolation." Peter pointed out an enormous tree in the far distance.

"It's a tree." Wildcat said with a strange look.

"And it's the only living one in the middle of a wasteland!" Peter added, "It's very obvious when you see it."

"Alright enough chit chatting, let's proceed carefully. We don't know when that tree or Boss will wake up or even if it's actually a Boss."

The group walked ahead through the forest of withered and twisted trees until they heard the loud sound of trees being forcefully uprooted from the earth and groaning wood. A large branch like tentacle grabbed a group of trees like it were a bouquet of flowers and deposited them into the cavernous maw of a gigantic tree ahead of them.

"Wow... That thing is huge!" Terroriser yells out in surprise.

"Yes, Brian was right. It is bigger than Wildcat's mom." Vanoss jokes.

"Fuck you, Evan." Wildcat said flatly.

"Boys! Stop yapping, I think it notices us!"

This tree was no doubt the Great Elder Zy'tl Q'ae, more evolved and more powerful than a regular version of a Zy'tl Q'ae, which are originally at Rank. They are also known as Arbor Mala, the evil trees of the forest, but this one in front of them is no doubt the most strongest of them all. It reminded most of Team 6 of the Great Deku Tree from the Legend of Zelda video game franchise, but far more evil looking. Its mouth was filled with numerous razor-sharp spikes, looking like a predator's teeth. The tree also seemed to have at least dozens of those tentacle-like branches it was using to uproot trees to consume.

'He enormous O.O' Thought of the nervous Golem.

"How are we supposed to fight that thing?!" Peter asked in fright.

"It does look to be around three hundred meters tall but those tentacles are another thing entirely." Marcel commented calmly. "Five hundred meters at the very least on them."

"What are you analyzing so calmly?!" Peter screamed in bafflement.

"Brian. Message Delirious, Moo, and Nogla to us. I don't think our little competition will be in a halt." Basically requesting his robotic friend, he then pointed to the giant tree, "We might need them if that big ass Tree puts up a serious fight."

Nodding, Terroriser types something and the message out to the other boys in the other sections to make themselves ready.

"A serious fight?! You gotta be kidding! We need to get out of here right now and wait for backup! I'd never thought it would be even more massive than its regular counterparts! There's nothing we can do about it now!"

[Eye of Truth]

With this spell cast, Draila could now see the enemy's mana, and its defenses; it is equivalent to most Rank 10. The limit of its life force of this giant tree was colossal in scope, not even most titan size monsters could compare, and lastly its durability is on another level, probably strong as a Transcendence Demigod. But it didn't have a discernible magical aura about it. If Benjamin was here he might be able to use one of his abilities to more precisely gauge its strength, but he wasn't present.

Back to Team 6, Wildcat hands were trembling. Not in fear but in excitement. He had the feeling this was going to be an interesting fight unlike the others he'd had since coming to this world. He nearly leaped into action when he questioned himself why he is like this. Perhaps it had something to do with the beastmen's instincts and blood running through his veins? Or was it just that he had all this incredible power at his fingertips, yet nothing to unleash it upon? Now faced with an enemy who could take it and might be able to dish it out as well he was excited and a bit anxious.

"Marcel!" He called out his black friend.

"Yeah?"

"Stay with the others here. Attack any of the tentacles that try to go after them." He said, then glanced at Terroriser, "Brian, you're with me. Focus on providing support."

"Yeah, right."

"And Evan..."

"Yeah? What am I supposed to do? Placing down TNTs and blowing that thing to chunks?"

"No, you'll sit there and be a good boy, you have enough, you already have much kills for today."

"...Really?"

"Yeah..." He turns to the others. "Well, SEE YA NERDS!"

With that Wildcat and Terroriser used their elytras to speed off in the direction of the Evil Tree, the Elder Zy'tl Q'ae. The wind blowing past their ears made it difficult to hear the commotion they left behind.

"Wait! They're not really going to fight that monstrosity, are they? That thing will rip them apart! We'll be in a mess if we don't run away right now!" Peter shouted at the stupidity he was seeing.

"Yo Peter, I know they are dumb as fuck, but they are very tough once you see them fight in their full strength." Said the dark skinned human with confidence in his voice.

"Huh?"

"I know it looks bad, but my friends can handle this. Even something that is much stronger than them, it is nothing but tuesdays.

"Yeah, I agree. It was their plan all along to take them." Draila added.

"Waah?! You are kidding me! Just look at the size difference! If they get hit by that thing it'll crush them in an instant!"

"Like we said, it's just another tuesday."

"How about you, Mr. Vanoss. What are you gonna do?" Sokushi asked the Owl man.

"Oh, do absolutely nothing... for now."

For a second there, Sokushi thought he saw a malicious smirk on Evan but he couldn't tell, he just shrugged it off and just ignored it.

In the frontlines, Wildcat immediately jumps fifty meters high from the ground, without wasting a second, he sends out dozens of magic weapons from his gates.

Dozens of bright lights could be seen in the evening sky. Hundreds of magic weapons streaked across the sky crashing down onto the colossal trunk of the demon tree Zy'tl Q'ae, exploding part of its body. The shockwaves of the explosions knocked down nearby trees surrounding the behemoth monstrosity of a tree and the sound was deafening. Behind all that, the Elder Zy'tl Q'ae with its massive maw could be heard wailing in pain as the fire began to spread across its body.

Gazing upon this sight of the demon tree burning, Wildcat could only laugh maniacally at the sight of the destructive power he unleashed.

Before he could attack more, one of the Elder Zy'tl Q'ae's wooden tentacles swiped at him. The tentacle itself, like its host body, was massive. Its diameter was larger than the Empire State Building. Wildcat drew his Enchanted Netherite Sword and did a downward slash at the thing intending to cut it in half. The Netherite blade only cut through several feet of the wooden tentacle before the tentacle launched him off.

"Tyler!" Terroriser shouted before dodging a giant tentacle that was about to crush him.

Like a missile, Wildcat launched back to the group.

"Looks like you got yourself in quite the troublesome situation, Wildcat." Vanoss said mockingly.

Wildcat could only groaned in pain, "Fuck you, Evan."

"Tyler, are you sure you will face it alone?" Basically said, "That tree is literally the size of an Empire State Building."

"Fine, fine, go get reinforcements, we will hold it off for now."

Everyone nods and uses the orb of light on top of them to get reinforcements.

Not even three seconds has passed already, the nearest adventurer that made everyone put all their attention was to appear before them.

"Benjamin?"

"Ah, the Banana Bus Squad and the Caeruleum Guardians. I've never expected you guys to be the first ones in the final boss section." The man named Benjamin said.

"Yes! Benjamin, his at the peak of rank, with him, defeating the Elder Zy'tl Q'ae will not be a problem anymore!" Peter said.

"Alright. I guess everyone is here, I will take over for now. Even though the Demon Tree is twice stronger than its weaker counterparts, it is still nothing but child's play for me. Well then, let the real fight begin."

Turning his gaze at the demon tree with cold eyes, taking out his respective weapon at his back, he pulls out the Divine-class weapon, 'Holy Sunlight Sword'.

"[Greater Giant's Strength!]"

Still being several hundred meters away from the demon tree, Benjamin wanted to close the distance quickly without being swatted at.

"[Time Stop]"

The world around him stopped and turned gray in color. Of course, the elder demon tree didn't have proper time countermeasures as it lacks the ability of it. Flying to some of its tentacles with ease, Benjamin cast another spell.

"[Delay Twin: Reality Slash]"

As the normal flow of time soon returned, he swung his sword at the Demon Tree in an arc, causing the space to split and the tentacles along with. With it, the great demon tree screamed in pain as the curved twin lights of reality slash cut through the tentacle-like limb. With that severing one of the dozens of great demon tree's tentacles dropped to the forest floor.

"That works. Time to do some trimming."

[Zephyr's Flight!]

This 6th tier spell was improved like most Demigods' flight. This enabled the caster to fly twice as fast in the air as it would with the [Fly] Spell, but not as fast as a normal Demigod. But it was still a valuable spell for those wishing to fight in the air like Demigods did. Most people didn't do so of course due to fear of being sniped at by enemies so it was rarely used.

The elder demon tree itself seemed to have gotten faster too. It began furiously swinging most of its tentacles at Benjamin trying to swat him away like a buzzing gnat. With Zephyr's Flight and his strength though, he managed to dodge and weave around the tentacles while bitch slapping one behind him out and swiping his glowing sword across their bark eliciting cries of pain from the creature whenever he did so.

As one of the five to six hundred meters long tentacles swayed in the air, Benjamin landed on it and impaled the creature with a few inches of his blade. Rather than shoving his blade deeper, he ran along the length of the creature's limb pushing the blade as he went. Another one of the tentacles lashed out at him as he did this and he jumped off, avoiding it as the creature's limbs collided with each other.

Diving down to avoid the reach of the great elder demon tree's limbs, he came closer to the mouth of the gluttonous monstrosity.

"Now, here comes the airship! Eat this!"

[Triplet Maximize Magic: Vermilion Nova!]

Three pillars of flame spewed forth in front of Benjamin and straight into the mouth of the creature. The light of the flames lit up its cavernous maw. It took a while for his spell to hit anything traveling within the behemoth.

Then all of the sudden, an instant later, all of the fire suddenly vanished and the Elder Zy'tl Q'ae returned to battle, looking at the human in anger.

"What the...?" Benjamin was caught off-guard that the tree had taken his words literally and ate his spell.

As Benjamin was lost in thought, the leaves of the Giant Tree suddenly illuminated. To Benjamin's surprise, he felt it absorbing the energy of the artificial sun in this dungeon.

[Solar Beam]

"Aw shi-"

Benjamin couldn't finish his sentence when the Demon Tree opened his monstrous jaw and sent out a massive pillar of light, the power behind it was so great that it split the forest into two, incinerating thousands of trees and mountains to powder with the power equivalent as the sun, the same attack that engulfs Benjamin whole and sending him miles back.

"Well that was unexpected." Marcel mumbled, he also never expected an A-rank, or possibly an S-rank monster to be so powerful. Remembering before he also faced a Legendary expert back in Kalren City, who's only compared to Rank monsters, and the weakest one at that, and his not alone as he was alongside with Brian and Delirious with a lot of full gear and drank a lot of body enhance potions. But seeing Benjamin's performance, even using the same method they used against the Legendary Expert back then, he is not confident or probably they won't last long in seconds.

"Oh well, now magic Superman is gone, it's now our turn!" Wildcat shouted.

Now turning to our main characters' direction, it screeches so loudly that it causes a large magnitude earthquake in the entire section, alarming everyone from humans to magical beasts. Enraged, a thousand meter size wooden tentacle emerged from the ground, it is the Elder Zy'tl Q'ae's most largest tentacle. Now looking at them, it strikes down, at the speed that can be seen by the naked eye, despite being so massive.

At the same time, more reinforcements have arrived, including Lee, but seeing the thousand meter size tentacle over in the distance, it freezes a large number of people, seeing such size scared them. But the strongest and experienced among them shouted at them and started to launch their magic towards it.

At the same time, Benjamin already recovers from that attack. By the time he got yeeted off, he never had any severe injuries around him, and he seemed perfectly fine.

Seeing the thousand meter tentacle, he knows these adventurers down there don't stand a chance and will not last long, so taking out another sword he has, he rushes at them.

But before he did that, he saw one of them, the pig  beastmen pulling out something that made him raise his guard greatly even though it wasn't aiming at him.

'What the?'
