Chapter 187 - Endgame 2

( Eager to fight, are we? Then this shall begin the Destruction! Come, Shadow monarch! Come and kill me!! )

He roared, making the weaker hunters froze up while more gates appeared behind him where monsters and dragons came out. 

Every hunter tenses up but they push themselves and begin to attack the monster while Ryuu and Jin-Woo army charge at the enemy where an enormous beast bit into the dragon assisted by the Jin-Woo's dragon while Antares just looks down, watching everything shake and destroy. 

Ryuu and Jin-Woo leap into the air where they immediately confronted Antares who smiled and open his mouth charging up for an attack but before he could open his mouth was intercepted when a Ryuu held out his hand and formed spherical purple energy attack towards Antares who's eye glowed before a powerful blast exploded where the other hunters where push back leaving enough space for Ryuu while few hunter died from the attack.

( What an interesting power you have! Is it similar to mine yet different? Let us see which is strong, Anomaly!)

Antares laughed, charging mana into his arm and swinging it when Ryuu took a deep breath and subconsciously thought of imbuing his sword with Jin-Ah's Nothingness since it was stronger than Destruction and nullified the effect of it. 

He rushed towards Antares who swung his arm sending a devastating attack that resulted in his army and the other hunters to be slaughtered while Ryuu evaded all the attacks.

"Mutilation!"

Jin-Woo appeared behind Antares and tried to attack him but he quickly stepped back when Antares swung his arms forcing him to block crossing his arms flinging him several dozen feet. 

( Do you really think that you could sneak up on me? )

He was amused seeing the new shadow monarch try something that is obviously going to fail. However, Jin-Woo went back up and rushed towards Antares clashing his Kamish Wrath toward him.

( Using a mere dragon fang against the king of dragons is truly amusing, Shadow Monarch. )

Antares said, baring his teeth before swiping his arms towards him forcing Jin-Woo to evade while the surrounding was destroyed. 

The hunters went far away from them while focusing their attention on the monster giving their best to assist them. They couldn't believe something that powerful existed that even their strongest hunters were struggling. 

"You lot! Don't give up! Focus on the monster army! Capture"

Thomas Andre roared while he struck down more and Dragon leaping into the air using his newly acquired wings after completely absorbing the fragment. He knew that he was not much against Antares and concentrated on killing the monster. 

He slammed his fist against one of the dragons and the shockwave affected the rest of them. Thomas created more black hole like attacks having grown enough to manipulate without holding out his arms. 

Roared!!

The shadow dragon bit into one of the dragons as they all fired their blast while the Hunters rode the Griffon and attacked the weaker monster. Everyone was unified as one and giving their all where Thomas was an important asset in the fight, sending the monster away from Ryuu and Jin woo. 

Boom!

Antares opened his mouth and sent a blast that obliterated the entire city block while he deflected Jin-Woo and Ryuu's Attack as they struggled to fight against him. 

Bellion and Igris swing their weapons to assist their king but to no avail as he was too powerful and pushed them back. To those watching it was like the unstoppable force meets the immovable object where none was showing any clear victor. 

"Ruler's authority."

Jin Woo grabbed his opponent and tried to slam him into the ground but to no avail as he resisted and swung his arms charging with power before destroying miles of land incinerating them. 

Clang!

Ryuu appeared having change his weapon while Jin-Woo was sent flying and swung his sword flying using [ Yamato ] and another Vibranium Katana that allowed it to last fighting Antares.

"Fifth Form, Raging God Wheel."

Antares watched as he executed circular slashes that slice through anything that close. It slices through space making the Dragon Monarch to smile in delight sensing his hands disintegrating into nothing. 

( Such power! Something more powerful than my destruction? I wonder what kind of world you came from, Anomaly!? Tell me and see how I destroy it! )

He held his sword while Ryuu remained stoic and Antares opened his mouth for another fire breath but he was kicked letting Ryuu go before slicing the attack before it could do any damage. 

Ryuu landed at the side of the building where his eyes glowed in blood red before vanishing then appeared surrounding Antares with after images but was easily parried and swung his hands hitting Ryuu and sliced his body in half. 

( Interested, you did not die even though I killed you. )

Antares watched as Ryuu regenerated his body and armor yet it was slower than normal. 

"Greater heal! Greater strength! Blindness!! Weakness!! Numbness!! Dread!!"

Ryuu said to change his magic and use Kie's own magic debuffing Antares but it barely lasted a second. He expected it and just wanted to try and heal himself along with the other hunters. 

He soon molded Nothingness orbs behind him that act like truth seeking orbs and used [ Space Shundo ] rushing towards Antares who held out his hand and blocked his attack but Ryuu twisted his body and kicked him in the face while Jin-Woo appeared above and used mutilation. 

Antares then roared, pushing back the hunters and causing every living thing to freeze up while Jin-Woo canceled his summon and rode Kaisel while Ryuu stepped back and changed his sword form. 

In that moment, Antares felt something and turned to find Ryuu was able to appear in front of him without being noticed as if his existence disappeared from the world.

Ryuu covered himself with nothingness that made him invisible to the world itself as if he never existed and managed to fool even Antares. 

"Thirteenth Form, God Eater." 

Antares who has been stoic had his eyes go wide when he saw his energy manifest into an illusion of indescribable fear to the enemy that consumed their flesh. 

This was Ryuu's breathing style, the last and strongest technique only performed by mixing all steps and once performed it cannot be stopped by any means. 

The Dragon monarch finds his body being sliced in different places while his army falls like flies in the process feeling his body being devoured.

Whoosh!

Buildings were sliced in the process and the clouds parted while the monsters were killed by the attack. The sensation made the strongest monarch roar in delight causing the whole world to shake violently pushing Ryuu back. 

And making the monster be allies or enemy to freeze up looking at Ryuu with Jin-Woo stood beside him. Antares looked at his hand that had several cuts before releasing a massive pressure while his eye glowed bright red before he exploded across the battlefield.  

( How amusing! To think you were able to wound me! You have proved your worth! Now prepare yoursel- )

"You talk too much."

Ryuu said before shifting the space and sending them far away from the other hunters into another world where there is no one but themselves. He took some time to distract Antares and find a suitable place to not hold back anymore. 

Meanwhile Antares finds it amusing that he was able to teleport himself into another place that is spatially locked by Ryuu. He realizes that he is not aiming to defeat him earlier but to distract him enough to teleport them. 

( Is this your plan all along? To bring me to a place where I can't cause destruction? Do you truly believe that this will stop me? )

Ryuu didn't say anything and released his power that started to shake the entire world as well while Jin-Woo did the same and began to use his Spiritual Body Manifestation forming armor around him while his shadow appeared while Antares watched in enjoyment and did the same and began to transformed into 300 meter tall dragon and spread his might wings.

Their combined power was shaking the entire world despite the space being sealed leaking some of their power that resulted in shaking it. 

Ryuu finished his transformation appearing much older with longer hair and goatee while his body had demonic properties with wings spread that had a pair of bat-like wings and black wings. He had a massive distorted aura around him corrupting the air and everything around him.

Meanwhile Jin Woo had enough time training inside Ryuu's dimensional room that he had his armor when he spent years inside the Dimensional gap. Antares senses their power and bares his fangs.

( How futile but this will entertain until the main event. )
