The gunfire had lasted for more than ten seconds, until the Scarecrow was riddled with bullets, the many holes in his chest revealing a clear view of the other side.


Then, the fingers of the two security guards holding the trigger were forcibly stopped. Their skin burst open, not revealing bone, but worm-like organisms that crawled up the gun barrel like tendrils and quickly fused with the muzzle.


An eyeball sprouted at the sights, staring fixedly at Song Lan.


"This is Deputy Captain Eric saying hello to you."


Song Lan stared at the Scarecrow's ruined body. At this moment, the bullet-ridden wounds were swiftly repairing themselves.
