Before attending the banquet, Song Lan and Lu Xiang went to a department store to buy clothes. This was the highest level banquet in the Twelfth Nation, where most important figures would be present. Their tourist attire just wouldn't do.


When they returned to the hotel, Song Lan paced around the room nervously.
