Encouraging Yaku to seek out Song Lan was Jasmine's idea. Since this morning, she had been secretly observing Yaku's behavior. Ever since the two met, this young Six Stars candidate seemed like a completely different person.

He bought a thermos, goji berries, and even got an electric water heater, and then he sat near the window for nearly two hours straight.


He reclined in the computer chair, letting the warm morning sunshine spill over him.


For a moment, Yaku reminded Jasmine of some of the older folks in the rescuer department who were just coasting through their days.


Jasmine cleared her throat softly and tiptoed over to Yaku.


Yaku was too lazy to even open his eyelids. He felt that after nearly two months of cultivation, he was almost in sync with the computer, and now no one could make him get up from this chair.
